fields in stamps

I have a stamp created in a file of stamp with text entry fields. It is in the folder of the app and install correctly stamp in what I can add cachet to a document, but the fields I placed in the stamp (in the stamp file) are not present in the version of the stamp that goes on the document through the stamp tool. How can I do so that the field is important with the stamp when it is imported?

Thanks for any help

Acrobat XI

You can't do that. Once the patch is applied inside fields are flat

and can not be modified more (unless you use something like the Edit Text &)

Images tool.

The solution is to use a script that prompts the user to enter values

just fields before the patch is applied to the document, then

copies as the entry in the fields, making them a part of the final stamp.

It is a complex topic and there are many tutorials written on it,

including an entire book by Thom Parker.

Try searching for "dynamic stamps" and you will find a lot of information.

    It is not possible to edit stamps as soon as they are applied. You can add fields for the stamp and then prompts the user to enter their values just before the buffer is applied, but not thereafter. It is a very complex, however. Search these forums for "dynamic stamps" for more information.

  • Creating a field of custom for a new text stamp Dymanic

    I was not able to solve this problem yet, so I'll transfer...

    I create a new dynamic custom stamp, but instead of the time, when inserted, I then have to manually enter the text in the dynamic text field.

    How can I change the script in the dynamic field of the stamp to do this? Here is a sample of what I need: (is the user input section in the boxed area)

    Complies_w_Submittal-temp.jpg

    I created the image in Word, then creates the pdf file.   Then, in Acrobat, I created a custom stamp, retrieved from the image of pdf has been created from Word, and registered as a custom stamp.  I then opened this file (C:\ < FOLDER USER > \application data\adobe\acrobat\8.0\Stamps...) and also opened a dynamic stamp as well.  I then copied the Date/time dynamic and inserted in my stamp (sending) field and tested on a pdf doc.  My Submittal w stamp / Date field / hour worked.

    So then I reopened my mailing stamp and edited text field properties and changed the custom calculation Script:

    [quote]

    var cResponse = app.response({)
    cQuestion: 'Enter the section number to appear in the stamp.',
    CTitre: 'Section number '.
    cLabel: "item number:"
    });
    If (cResponse is nothing)
    App.Alert ("thanks for trying anyway.");
    on the other
    App.Alert ("you answered, \""+cResponse+"\", for the section number")
    + "question.", 3);

    [/ quote]

    That, once I've stamped a page brought to the top of the dialog box:

    Warning.jpg

    but after I entered the data in the dialog box and 'OK' stamp, page has been stamped, but the dynamic text box was empty.

    Complies_w_Submittal-temp1.jpg

    Issues related to the:

    1-      Why was the empty dynamic text box, what don't get me?

    2-      The dialog box that appeared was titled "WARNING JavaScript window - Section number"how get rid of the 'Java Script WARNING' window?  or did I miss type something...

    3-      When you select OK, do we have an another dialog (him ' said it... ("pop up), or can we just have the inserted stamp and then after this dialog Section number?

    Yet once again, I'm not very good at all at this level of the code, so any help is appreciated...

    Thanks in advance

    And the extra character lies on a line.

    Corrected code:

    var cResponse = app.response({)
    cQuestion: 'Enter the section number to appear in the stamp.',
    CTitre: 'Section number '.
    cLabel: "item number:"
    });
    If (cResponse == null) {}
    Event.Value = "* INCORRECT *;

    }

    on the other
    Event.Value = cResponse;

  • A field based on another field of time stamp setting

    I have 3 fields in the custom object 1 labeled (a list of choices) status of the Transaction, on Hold time and off hold time. The drop-down list contains the value "pending." When this value is selected, I can successfully timestamp field on time to keep using a workflow rule (PRE ("< plTransaction_Status_ITAG > '") <>[< plTransaction_Status_ITAG >]) AND [< plTransaction_Status_ITAG >] = ValRech ("OCC_CUST_ZOBJ_1_LOV_12", "Pending").

    When the Transaction status is changed to something other than 'pending' after having been in this situation, I need to stamp the "Off Hold Date/time field", but only after the "On Hold Date/Time" field contains a value that is earlier than the current date and time. I tried to use a workflow rule, but this doesn't seem to work properly and timestamps each time that the value of 'The Transaction status' is changed.

    In my view, a default value in the field ' Hold Off Date/Time ' should work, but have no idea on how to do it.

    Can anyone provide any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Have you tried

    PRE ("") = 'Pending' and queued more than today() date/time?

  • Script Automator for the DATE and TIME stamped record

    Hi all

    I'm not a scripter, but are in need of a DATE and time-STAMPED folder (or file) I would like to put on my desktop and have updated automatically so that I can use this tool to quickly see if a backup external (or internal) is current. probably I could also use it to quickly find out how /old/ a backup is.

    for now, I do this manually if I want to quickly verify that a backup works by creating a "date named folder" on the desktop - such as '-2016 03 26 "."» so I can quickly see if a backup I just ran ran.

    I have a lot of backups (internal, external, off site, etc.) and it would be super useful for me to have.

    I consider the name of the folder to be customizable (potentially) in case I need to change it, but a good default would be "-YEAR MONTH DAY" so that I could see easily when this backup has been but also I name my files in this way so they can appear in chronological order "."

    is anyone able to help me with something like that or suggest another forum for cross-post this?

    Thank you

    Hi UARK.

    I just ran your VI with a simulated device and could read in the appropriate data (it was not all constant).  Try opening a panel of Test NI Max to display the data that your device reads in and check if these data are constant.  If so, it's a problem with your hardware rather than your LabVIEW program.  That being said, this issue is quite different from your original post, and I suggest to create a new post on the forum for this quite so that more people see it.

  • Errors and warnings in Event Viewer in the field of applications on a laptop running Windows 7.

    I receive a number of warning and an error message in the event viewer in the field of applications on a laptop running Windows 7.  Is there a way to fix this or fix another way?

    Here are some notes on the event viewer reports that can help you. When you have a lot of mistakes, you need to focus on system errors and warnings, even if it's the applications that are giving you grief. Problems with the first sorting system can do the easier application problems. Note the time that the computer is started last and deal first with those at the beginning of the boot. Correct previous errors can be solved later.

    1. normally, when an error occurs on your computer looking in Event Viewer should be your starting point to find a solution. More related system errors are recorded and get an exact copy of the relevant report is important. Unfortunately, is not easy to understand reports and most of the users computer need help with their interpretation. I have to say later interpretation.

    2 Event Viewer includes four major newspapers in Windows. These are application, security and system with Applications and Service logs as a source more details... For purposes of troubleshooting system is by far the most important.

    3. to access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs. Place the cursor on the system, right click and select filter current log. Check the front of the error and click OK and see you only reports errors. Click the Date and time column header to sort. You may need to click a second time to see the last report above.

    4. a tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. Click the button copy on the general tab allows you to place a copy in the Clipboard and close Event Viewer. Now start your message and paste it into the body of the message. Make sure that it is the first dough right out of the event viewer.

    5. He cautioned against three types of reports, information, and reports errors. In most situations, it is the error reports that offer the best information but sometimes WARNING reports provide useful clues.

    6. all reports have stamps date and hour and when troubleshooting, it is important to focus on the latest reports. Reports of studies from the point when the computer is started, and then check if a similar report appeared in the previous session. If errors do not repeat investigation as to why they happen is wasted effort.

    7. in the individual reports the most important information is the event ID and Source such as these help when looking for help on the internet. The description is just as important and copy the exact text to use as search criteria greatly helps achieve better results when using Google. Not paraphrase descriptions when other people asking for help.

Search for selected text in the Description part of the report (not of the particular words of phrases) that "this exact word or phrase" Gets the best results. Focus on Social Technet and Microsoft Answers reports in the last 12 months. Look elsewhere if a response is difficult to find.
