  I had a program running on RS232 to control some pumps on a different computer, however when I run it on the new computer I get no communication with my camera. It's the same setup, same configuration and everything. Nothing has changed in the program except the computer to which it is connected. Any thoughts on what is happening?   LR 5 doesn't work is not on the new Macbook Pro.  Have tried 2 CC downloads, download licensed 5.6 and 5.5 download licensed, all the results in the same thing.  It comes up with the screen base but no signs and gives that an error occurred when changing the modules.  Nothing I have tried seems to help.  He also said "start with lightroom mobile at the top on the left, although it said it's Lr 5.6.  Anyone else having problems?  Calls to adobe are no help and have to wait until Monday for technical support.  Surely this must run on a NEW laptop with any other installed software!

  Setup logs was very good.  Application installed but is not working properly.  Finally got Adobe support and it turns out be a file permissions error.  Had to add applications and myself as accessors of the Lightroom folder under ~/Library/Adobe/ path and set permissions to read & write (was read only for everything except system) and apply to all the cases closed.   Works fine now.  Including this here in case when someone else is going through this issue.

  Unless you have the SP1 and SP2 installed, there is no support for Vista; Microsoft support ended.

  You say that you do not have SP1 installed, then of course we give you instructions on how to install it.

  And when you post here complain about anything doesn't work for you, publish a list of the things you have already tried.

  I installed a burner double layer of Asus which worked fine and was given the drive letter g. My second drive was defective, so I bought a different burner Asus from the same company. I asked the seller if there is a conflict because the two discs were the same. He said no, because the computer would assign a different drive letter to the new drive. When I turned on the computer after the installation it recognized the new hardware and it gave the letter s. When I went to burn data, I noticed that the g drive was gone and the software did not recognize this drive. I restarted the computer and found that the two drives disappeared and I can't access either. Can anyone help please.

  These DVD players would be IDE?  IDE disks need to have the jumpers set to Master or Slave, when connecting TWO drives on the same IDE cable these discs were both probably "sold" with the cavaliers IDE setting 'default' value and they are both the same.  IDE see then the player and the possbily ignore the other «first»

  I recently installed a new version of Adobe creative suite 4, just like a trial non-registered, but I found that my computer could not manage the programs and began to plant any time, I tried to create a pdf file.

  So I uninstalled only on the part of the package, Acrobat, hoping that I would still be able to use my old 5 from Adobe as a Pdf from Autodesk CAD.

  But now that I uninstalled it, I still can't Pdf. And what is more, my computer is no longer automatically recognizes 5 Adobe as the default program to open Pdf files, it makes me to select the program from a list.

  Is it possible to fix this? Would be to uninstall and reinstall help? Pdfing from CAD is essential to my work.

  The easiest way is to simply do a repair (Control Panel > Add Remove programs...). For AA5, it will probably appear to change and delete. Select change and you should be able to fix things. If this does not work, then uninstall, delete the folder Acrobat 5 and use the MS. cleanup tool Then, restart and install. Acrobat and Reader are such that if you install several versions, uninstallation of no matter what will most likely break all others - exactly your problem. The problem of the association can be fixed with Windows Explorer, but other things can also be broken that do a repair or reinstall a good idea.

  So my girlfriends mid 2009 stock 13 '' MacBook Pro HD went crap and I bought a new. It is a Seagate 1 TB hybrid SSD and its a HD approved Seagate and is 100% compatible with the computer. In any case, I got the drive and installed. I have a bootable USB key with OS X El Capitan on it and proceeded to install a new OS on the drive, but about 5 minutes in the installation has failed and asked to restart or shut down and try again (it was also showing the log files).

  I rebooted and held down the option key to display the bootable disks and now nothing appears. I tried to use different external drives, tried to use even the recovery of the internet, different USB ports and nothing works - he plays just the startup sound and a white screen blank forever, until I press the power button to switch it again 10 minutes or later. This continues to be! I have a feeling that the motherboard has gone to sh * but I wanted to post on here to see if anyone had any ideas? I talked to AppleCare and they have nothing in addition to sending the computer in which I do not for the moment.

  I recently reset SMC, NVRAM, started in safe mode, etc all before I ordered and installed the new drive. Should I do it again just to make sure this isn't one of those issues?

  Also forgot to mention that when I installed the new HD, I was able to format of OS X journaled extended, then proceeded to install the new OS.

  Also sometimes the computer actually shows the Apple logo at startup and a status bar (before I select a boot drive) 3 minutes later this black-bordered code (which spans the top of the screen down) appears on the left side of the screen, and then the computer restarts again. -So who plays a role any in everything that's wrong with her.

  Use the diskettes provided with the MBP original Leopard installation.  Your El Capitan USB Installer is maybe damaged.

  If possible, try to install El Capitan with another Mac.

  The Seagate 1 TB SSHD is certainly compatible because I had installed in my MBP.
