  I think that this way your problem will be solved and separate report unnecessary file, you can do this in your file of same report also.

  Hi Prasanna,

  CSV is not a default output for your BI Publisher reporting format. You can view your page layouts in a CSV file however to report (not Data Model), then clicking on the link "View as list" on the top right of the screen - the default selection is "show thumbnails". When you click on the link "View as List" you can change and select the output formats of each layout in your report which includes a CSV. According to me, there is an option in the administration screen BI Publisher to change the default output formats but not 100% sure on that.

  Now I try the same thing with XLS-Templates. I create the XLS model in the editor of BI and where it works very well. Now I need also an APEX-"Download" - Process to download the XLS reports to the client. The method already used doesn't work for RTF models.

• Use the dynamic report with BI Publisher parameters

  Are there tips for reports in BI Publisher? For example, I would use the same report for one person or many people. This would mean that where clause should be added when it is for the individual and is not necessary for the entire population. I don't see a way to dynamically build the report using "Report queries" in the shared components.
  It is easy to build a sql query based on various selection criteria in the Source to a pagethat of the region then gets displayedd on the page but I don't see a lot of flexibility in creating a report with BI Publisher at the Apex.

• How to save a report as a CSV with ActiveX file excel

  I am trying to save my excel test report to a CSV file using ActiveX and I have difficulties to start.  I can't find an invoke node method that allows the conversion of CSV files.

  I think I understand: you want to put all 10 BEEP reports one by one on the same page of dashboard.

  If so, create two new guests of dashboard for the start and end dates and make them as text type.

  In the variable of the presentation, you must provide your name of setting BEEP also exactly as it is defined in the BEEP data model, which will open a link between the BEEP and OBIEE.

  Once done, you can drag and drop your guest of dashboard as a first leg on your dashboard page.

  I'm working on the relationship between 10g and 11g migration and I have a problem with the reports that contains a chart. They give the following error when I run them against the report of 11g Server (they work very well against the server 10g with on all issues)

  I searched on Google for a solution to fix them, the closer, I found was install Oracle Graphics 6i engine in a House separate from the Oracle, but this has been said for 9i and 10g, you can find that in the oracle document below:

  Hello Sona,
  Unfortunately installation chart 6i to one OH for 11g will not work. This option is possible as long as 10g as a temporary option during migration to the BI beans new chart features in gr 10, 2 and 11 g.

  with a new one generated by sqlcl because sqlcl seem to handle it "natively".

  However, I have several problems, it's not so easy... (it is not possible, in fact, as a replacement for sqlplus by sqlcl to generate a csv file)

  * an empty line first (?)

  * the fields sysdate is followed, 0000000, which breaks the structure of the csv file. Don't know why this is displayed.

  * value sysdate is fine (date + hour) in sqlcl, trunc (sysdate) should not display the time (minor)

  * in sqlplus then I've not used instructions ALTER SESSION SET NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS = ",".

  digital data are 6.07 (whereas it should be 6.07, and default sqlplus output. (In sqlplus to 6.07, I need to put the NLS_NUMERIC statement above))

  * in sqlplus, only char data are placed in square brackets. In my case it would be necessary to have each data attached to make sure that imposing CSV is safe.

  If too many problems, I can't currently use sqlcl to generate a csv result...

  Don (don't know if this is the place to talk about SQL imporvement, , but it would be great if the sqlcl could be improved: )

  * the date of issue (000000) would be fixed (unless there is a solution?)

  * Digital output default must be with '.'. And after having the opportunity to change the decimal separator, as in SQLPLUS

  * We wouldn't abilty to choose whether the data should be included or not in the media (even for digital data / date)

  * We would be able to change the csv separator

  * no first blank line ould generated (minor)

  Thanks for any suggestions you could provide, because at the moment, I can't use sqlcl to the output in csv format, although it has very promising output features

Reports worked fine, but the user wants that the report has changed to a classic report with the search parameters in another region to control the display of the results of the report.   In a predefined layout that I need to produce Excel reports, an Excel from a client with the details and the name of the excel file should be customer numbers, if there are 50 visitors the editor should produce 50 excel reports. Also the exact same report or a copy of the report must also be saved as a PDF report with the same name but a pdf extension. Please help on if or how this is possible or if there is another way totally other than BI publisher, please let me know.

  I confused with your req. If there is a relationship between the customer number and the data produced in the report then follow the following procedure in OBIEE

  1. create a security group for these 50 users and then apply filter visibility of data with customer number.
  2. now, create a report
  3. create two ibots with visibility of custom data, one for output to excel and others for the pdf. Add resipients with s group created in step 1
  4. now to plan both the ibots to deliver two exits to 50 users
  5. data will be carried out according to needs but file name is the same for all users and the data will be different based on the number of customer
  6 maybe you can convince them to this topic or you may need to script to rename the file with the customer's name or number and deliver the file shell.

  in your case, there is a timing issue: substitution for the title of region is part of the process in the region as is the name of the file. There is no double-substitution at that time here. Imagine the current state to be filename: = NVL (substitute (filename), region_title) where region_title has the value that is given to the rendering process.
