  Make sure you download both files from there. https://helpx.Adobe.com/Creative-Suite/KB/CS3-product-downloads.html

  Compare the size of the file and you will have to perhaps disable all anitvirus during download and install it.

  1. you have cr 8.7 or better: use the dng converter or upgrade your pse in v. 13.

  Try to download first and Photoshop Elements, let him do his own thing. It says "archive file part of... is missing... put in the same folder... download all parts. I saw the answer "put .7z and .exe in the same folder" but how? This is a brand new computer and I'm still getting used to the place where everything is hidden. I would have thought that the download would automatically put things in the right places.

  To install Photoshop or Premiere Elements for windows, you will need to download the exe and 7z files. They usually end up by ISO download folder unless you specify otherwise.  Just make sure you put the two files in the same folder and double-click the exe file to install. Don't forget to download the version appropriate depending on whether machine you 32-bit or 64-bit.

When I "open" which I suppose is the installer - DEsignWebPremium_CS6_LS16 - I get an error message: "the file archive Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium is missing. You need all the parts into the same folder in order to extract and CS6 Adobe Design and Web. You can download all the parts.

  Download Manager. So I changed browser and downloaded without

  ... Download Manager installation seems to go fine now.

• I deleted inadvertently part of photoshop elements 10. Impossible to reinstall.

  I deleted inadvertently part of photoshop 10 on my iMac.

  Reinsert the disc3 not show a value, will not show even the icon and "Find" will not locate it.

  I ran uninstall also, but it makes no difference.

  The disks are same origin as the first used.

  Welcome to the community!

  Please click on Go > utilities > install and check Adobe Phtoshop is listed, if so, run the uninstall program.

  Reinstall the product using disks after that, if it is not then just launch the installer from the disc. (I guess that disc 1 will be used according to the instructions written on the discs)

• Splitting of the "parts" of Photoshop Elements on two monitors

  I have two monitors and would like to implement the following configuration: a monitor for full screen image editing and one screen for the menus, buttons, and the GUI tools. I read a suggestion to go watch one at a time each individual 'Panel' more in high school, but is there a way to move the image being edited on the secondary screen instead? Move each panel every time too long seems to be the way to solve this problem.

  I use Photoshop Elements 10 on Windows 7.

  Try to move the editing window, but re - set up your preferences.

  Go to preferences to change General

  Then choose allow Documents floating in the editing Mode completes.

• Removal of Photoshop Elements 9 caused missing lenses in Lightroom 3.3 profiles

  After the expiration of my essay on Photoshop Elements 9 I removed it from my Windows Vista system.  Next time I started to Lightroom 3.3, I tried to apply a profile of Canon lenses in a few new images as well as the profile was missing, not only it was not on the list, none 862 images taken with this lens had the profile that are applied more.  I tried to repair the installation, and he could not say that I was missing components.  Then I tried to upgrade to 3.4 RC & it failed with the same message.  Finally, I thought it might have been caused by the deletion of items in Photoshop so I went to restore it was the case before the withdrawal point.  Now I have the profile of the rear lens which doesn't have the profile of Canon EF28 - 135mm as well for other 862 images.  My question is should there be something else I should look to see if it is missing or damaged?  Thanks - Larry

  The common part between LR and PES is part of Camera Raw (ACR). Its parameters are contained in 2 different locations:

  (1) the general configuration cab files:

  C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw

  This directory contains profiles of lens and camera installed with LR

  (2) user associated configuration files:

  C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw

  This directory contains generally:

  • Downloaded/created goal profiles
  • ACR default (such as the size of the cache ACR, the default values defined in LR)
  • Camera downloaded/created profiles

  You can view the contents of these 2 sites. Another alternative would be to uninstall and reinstall LR, which should take care of the factory provided profiles.

  The installation package usually comes in two files on Windows...  You must have both files uploaded in the same directory before running the .exe file.

  The specified error generally occurs if any part of the downloaded file is missing or damaged.

  Please re-download the package and try the install again.

  Alternatively you can try to download the available direct download links to: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html

  But make sure you follow the steps mentioned on the page before you start the download.

• Everytime I open Photoshop elements V13, I get the message that there is an update V13.1 and Camera Raw 8.7.1. However when clicking on update now or after the release it will never update. There is also no updates listed for V13 on the Web site.

  Is this a false message, or is there an update available? If yes how do I update my version?

  It is not a false message, these updates are available. (I covered the camera raw info here)

  

  If you load the editor, when you get told updates and you click Update, it may take a while to get there.

  If you are on a Windows system, you can find that there is a flashing icon of user access control in your taskbar. I don't know about MAC systems.
