  Note that you can work with two screens and drag and drop the image to display on the other window.

  I think you mean working temporarily with the window enlarged image without displaying all the tools and panels.

  My advice: take the time to read the above help and especially to look at ways to maximize this window if you are on Mac or Win.

  Set your preferences in the Edit menu to "allow the floating windows in expert mode.

  Use the "tab" on the keyboard key to hide or show your panels and tools quickly.

  Find out how to hide the photo tray.

  Normally, you would place the CD in the CD player and it would be autoplay and start the installation process.  If it does not start automatically, then look at the contents of the disk file by using any file manager software, you have for your system and see if you can find the installation/setup file.

  Go to file > new > empty file. Enter the dimensions of your paper stock

  Go to file > place, point on the image, and then position it on the corner.

  Barbara, what version of operating system do you use? / Applications (Mac), you can check and control panel > programs and features (Win) to check if it's installed on your machine.

  Hi Michelle.  I thought about it. To install the program, go the downloaded zip [Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 (Download)] folder, then open the "64 bit", then double-click on the "PhotoshopElements_13_LS25_win64" application  Who will run the program.  I hope this helps.  David

  7. Go to the image, I work - is selected the image, the user has clicked on change. When nothing happened, I double click on the image. Elements has not opened yet. Then I opened the item editor, returned to iphoto and tried again the whole process. the photo has not yet opened the 13 elements for editing.

  You are probably choose the manifest file and the correct file like PES Editor. The current editor is hidden inside the Support files folder. The PSE file at the top level of the PES in the Applications folder is simply an alias for the Welcome screen and what you describe is exactly what is happening when you who choose.   I tried to repair the catalog from a new catalogue and re-installed both programs, but the error persists.

  Thanks for the suggestion, but it made no difference.

  However, by trail and error, I found a solution to 99%.

  Right-click on the desktop, the icon of elements.

  Select Troubleshoot Compatibility.

  Select troubleshoot program

  Select a problem (I used the other)

  Select the Version of Windows (Windows 8 for me)

  Select the Test program

  If it works, which he did in my case, save the settings.

  This seems to have solved my problem, except that I now get an extra screen at the opening of the elements to allow the program to make changes to my computer. I can live with that.

  When I get time I will check if there is any Adobe or updates to Windows that will make this unnecessary step.

  I hope this helps other people with the same problem.

When I installed it on his computer, it changed all the files on his computer for photoshop elements files, or rather, it combined all the files in photoshop elements. I don't know that it is an operating system problem. Can someone tell me why this is happening and give me a cure? It uses Windows 7. It is a 64-bit computer, if it's important.

  If you look at the thumbnails in the Organizer, try going into the menu display and check that the Details and file names are checked. The name of the file and the date must appear below each thumbnail. If they do not appear, you may need to increase the size of the thumbnail using the slider to zoom (lower-right).
