File recovery on the pendrive in Small business server 2011
Hi all
I have a little problem.
I want to retrieve a file from a backup USB device in SBS 2011, but the Recovery Wizard do not "see" the USB device.
I can make backups on external hard drive without any problem.
I am also able to see the drive in the Device Manager.
I am attaching a file with relevant information.
Any help/suggestions out there?

User logged on the server over the RDP session - Small Business Server 2011 x 64
We have a Small Business Server 2011 standard x 64. We have the configuration of the remote desktop on port forwarding in the firewall to allow a user to connect to this server using RDP remote desktop. This isn't a server terminal server. No, there are no available Remote Desktop Manager settings.
When the user connects through the RDP application and connects to the server. If the users session is idle for 15 minutes, the user is connected to the server (not disconnected the RDP session, just to connect to the server). The user must log into the server every time that happens. We tried adjusting the Remote Desktop Session Host settings and changed the Session time limits, but this isn't the parameter we are looking for. We have looked extensively through the default domain group policy and see nothing active to this behavior. We examined local group policies and studied the session time limits in the user and computer configuration > policies > models Admin > RDP >... session host and it is has anything configured here which could trigger this behavior.
Yet once, it connects the disabled user, not closing the remote session. We have also examined the user account for this user and looked for resume posting require logon settings (although with SBS, it is not even there to adjust the display settings). I had partner Microsoft supports focus on this during one hour (he didn't use too much of my time to support) and they have been unable to resolve within an hour.
Help, please!
Thank you.

Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard access to download
Hello
I need to access a copy of the Small Business Server 2011 Standard edition since the MSDN site, in order to help one of my clients.
They have SBS 2011 standard installed on their network and I'm going to make some big changes to their network. To do this I need to access the installation (file ISO DVD) on MSDN disc. They have the product key, but not the original disks that were used to install SBS 2011 Std.
Thank you for your help.

Small Business Server 2011 Essentials activation problem.
I downloaded Small Business Server Essentials 20011 and installed on my server, went into Control Panel and active. After 'enabling', I restarted and it said 3 days for activation. I called MS technical support and asked for help, he I was travelled by using the prompt for activation. After that, the pop up said 57 days remaining before activation. However, in the Control Panel, it shows more than 3 days. I'm afraid that the OS crashes me after 3 days passes. How to activate during the trial that MS wrote that I'm supposed to have? Help is greatly appreciated.

Hello experts,
I wonder if it's possible/supported to join the vCenter Server Appliance for a small business 2011 Active Directory Windows Server (basically a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and best regards,
Massimiliano
You can... However, it would be, at least in what we saw, more easy to reach the device in the announcement via the CLI

Field not updating machines (Small Business Server 2011) Windows 7
A few months, I have removed my "companyweb" of my SBS2011 box. Since that time, my domain name will not be updated. I can manually delete the files from my desktop PC (c:\windows\softwaredistribution\data) and run an update. What could have changed by removing the default site?
Also because I'll eventually replace the box SBS2011 with Windows Server 2012 or 2016 I simply forget to the SBS Group Policy?
Thank you

Hi people,
I recently deployed a Server SBS 2011 Essentials version in our office. We are very please with everything except for one thing. We have an IBM T42 laptop running Win XP Pro SP3 (fully patched) I can not stick to the server.
Whenever I type the URL to bring up the software of the connector (http://servername/connect), I get a browser message-"Server Error 403-Forbidden: access is denied." You don't have permissio to view this directory or page using the credentials you provided. »
I can ping the IP address of the server successfully and can navigate to the shared folders on the server without any problem. I also have two Dell laptops that are running Win7 Pro, and I had no problem to join these to the server/domain.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!Hello

I have a server that I do not use. She has windows SBS 2011. I need to convert this powerful server to my PC I need. Please tell me if this is possible, and how to do this.
Thank you
Could you provide the specifications of the server?
Companies often convert departmental servers to client machines of the time when they are upgrading to the most recent. The process should be easy by inserting the Windows 7 disc and perform a custom installation.
Consider the following text:
How to: perform a customized Windows installation
See the section for Windows 7.
