  I asked about this problem for a while - it still exists under Windows 7 Microsoft apparent feels that it is the correct behavior. In an application using a dialog open, where multiple files can be selected by clicking on them, while the CTRL key is held down, the resulting list of file names appears in the file text box. However, the first clicked file name remains last in the list while others remain in the proper order. Why is this?   Of course, it is possible.  According to what the text file looks like to, you can create an external table that treats the text file as if it were a table.  Otherwise, you can always read the file in PL/SQL, using the utl_file package and INSERT of PL/SQL commands.

  You have problems whatever you wantt?  If so, your zip code and explain what the problem is.

  Whenever you have any questions, please post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and the exact results you want from these data, so that people who want to help you can recreate the problem and test their ideas.  In this case, also post a small sample of the text involved file.

  If you ask about a DML operation, such as INSERT, then INSERT statements, you post should show what looks like the tables before the DML, and the results will be the content of the table changed after the DML.

  Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.

  The integrated capability that you can use is to save e-mail messages in HTML format. File | Save under... and you select HTML as the file type. It will be opened in a browser, or even a word processor. But they can be complicated to transport since there are often an auxiliary file for embedded images.

  I hope that if you save messages in format eml native, your lawyer email client should be able to open them.

  In both cases, the ImportExportTools add-on - it can make your life easier if you need to record a large number of messages.

  I think a safer option for you would be to print to PDF. If your OS has not this built, there are various free PDF writers. My own experience with the lawyers, it's that they seem to like the PDF format, so that they are likely to have a PDF reader. And of course Windows had PDF display and built-in since Windows 7 capacity-building.

  I'm kinda new to LabView, so perhaps this question is trivial, but gives me a lot of pain.

  I want to permanently save a string given at two different rates; in the example provided these rates are every 500 ms and ms 50, in two different (one for each rate) text files. I tried to use while loops structured for this purpose. When I use one, it works fine, but when I use both at the same time, it seems that Labview limited both paths at the lowest speed, which in this case is obviously 500ms, and eventually get two accurate files with the string saved to 500 ms period.

  How can I make it work?

  Your loops the two stops after one iteration. Maybe you should keep them until you want to stop the running program. Add a stop appropriate to each condition.

  (Looks like you are using "continuous operation" where the program begins again once the code is complete. Do not! It's just a debugging tool. Use the ordinary execution.)

  The PNG attached shows the code used to accumulate strings concatenated into an array of strings for the first four lines, then to a string in the array to the worksheet String.vi and, finally, use write to Text File.vi the lower right corner shows the result in a spreadsheet.   The tabs are from the table to the string of worksheet function.  You build a chain of worksheet, complete with tabs and CR.  Just drag a concatenate the strings in his place and it will work.

  I would bag all constants of the tab and the CR.  Build an array of 2D with just the values strings (without tab, no CRs), happening in the array to function SS.

• Read file text several times

  Inside my main VI, I read the same text file like 4-5 different places settings (including some inside sub VI).  It is also within a while loop which is delayed 0.5 seconds.  The text file contains about 50 to 100 lines according to the parameters.  My question is if this can make the program unstable or poorly there performance?

  Is it better to drag the wire across around the VI and the Subvi?

  A simple way is to use functional overall.

  Read the text at the beginning of the program file, store it in functional overall.

  It allows to read the definition of anywhere anytime...

  Here's my question about writing data to a file in a text while loop... better written as I can.

  I have a case of Init where I have the user choose a path and a name. I go out the ref and then I gave, which are written to the file. The loop will take 40 000 pieces of data write to the file and return to the business of data get to collect another 40 000 data points. But when I open the file, I get only one as big as 430KB file. I'm not sure but can somone show me an example to analog data of a DAQ help, make a calculatoin on this subject, write to a file, and repeat that adding it in the same file at the end of previous data?

  Appropriating the Desktop folder and check if it helps.

  [a. navigate to: C:\Users\[your username]

  b. right click on the folder on the desktop, and then click Properties.

  c. click on the Security tab.

  d. click on Editand then do one of the following:

  -To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click other users and groups , in area enter the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.

  -To change the owner to a user or group that appears in the area of change of ownership to , click the new owner.

  e. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the checkbox replace the owner of sub containers and objects .

  f. click OKand then click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:

  You are not allowed to read the contents of directory folder name. Do you want to replace the the directory permissions with permissions granting you full control?

  All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.
  
  Note folder_name is the name of the folder you want to take charge.

  g. click OK, and then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents.

  Additional considerations

  ·         An administrator can take ownership of any file on the computer.

  ·         Affecting the ownership of a file or a folder might require that raise you your permissions using user access control.

  I am able to open the text of old files .eml (which were entirely visible in my XP program) in my program of W7, but the embedded images in these files won't be visible. Does anyone have a valid suggestion how overcome this problem?

  The other thing you can do is to download and install Windows Live Mail. Which will display the text and images in eml files...

  However, I would really like to be able to reduce it to 1 or two hours...

  I found a few tools that seem to be similar, but I did not "want to do something fancy so I figure why do I need YET ANOTHER utility to install and manage... but maybe that I don't - agentransak, astrogrep, all (voidtools)) some seem to have a format such as" # "that would be ideal (and intuitive?), but I can't find any doco and can't make it work with any combo I tried" "" , so I guess it just cannot be done.

  Tools for working with search in windows 7/8 don't seem to be that big... 8 seems to be better, but its still very obscure, what I can/cannot do with search...

  I searched in the XML code in the saved searches, but I don't really understand how his work and can't seem to get a lot more twisting the weird values (for example: R00UUUUUUUUZZXD-1NU... where THIS is documented.)

  the best that I've got so far is to use "changed: today" and the order of descending dateModified... but when there is a lot of activity, so sometimes it's a little slow...

  Oh, for anyone to play with this stuff:

  • nice feature that I have not found in any of the doco... If you create a search and save and then select search and then add more to the search in the search and then save, it "refines" research... (Search IN THE SEARCH), it is somewhat impressive... too bad there isn't a GUI interface with that... maybe a massively underrated v. powerful feature!
  • Doesn't seem to be anything I can find which will restrict things for me at a time (always full of hope), but I found the following useful - it looks like you can save the view of folders with the research, so I did this, order by datemodified, group records as well as by type of file, to help me filter things and small practices , via the above 'cool' feature-, it appears (in the XML file that the searches are "booleanable" (so you can say "this AND this AND this OR this") and I managed to do is RELATIVELY fast (in some situations).)

• Computer graphics vector file text indicated - USELESS!

  I bought an infographic file which has a lot of dummy text as part of the look, but all indicated text! To produce the appearance of the graphics I have to recreate the text myself. If it is a police matter, no licensing problem. Just do not include the police.  I can change my own selection of fonts. But there is no text to change the font to something that I own. It defeats the purpose of buying a stock file that I can simply change the dummy text. I can't buy more infographics files unless I know that the text will be included.
