• What is the extension of the files in the profile folder - file the emails, but not the message .msf file?

  I need to recover a lost Inbox (lost due to a failure). The file to the Inbox in the profile folder is somehow cleaned as if the record has been compacted and some new emails have been added. The size of the file is now a few hundred KB when there should be a few hundred MB. I have run a recovery of files on this disc, but now have thousands of files with names like Raw122354 and don't know what to look for, because the Inbox file has no extension. I can remove those with file extensions I don't know, but that still leaves too many to go through.

  I guess I should also ask if this is a waste of time, if I have a chance to recover the file?

  Messaging files are text files, so yes, you can open them with a text editor. I wouldn't try to open a file of messages Gigabyte with Notepad however.
  There is no need to rename the file with a .txt extension, it can be opened with any text editor without worrying.

• FaceTime works on iPhone, but not on Mac Book Pro

  I opened internet Explorer, went to an email that had an attached Microsoft word document. I have 'open' the document, but does not "Download", then worked on it for a few hours and press on record several times. I can't find.

  Is not in the "recent" topics under the Start button.

  This isn't in the "open recent" topics in microsoft word.

  This isn't on my desk, not in the folder my documents, not in my downloads folder.

  It does not appear when I run a search in the Start button.

  Normally, I téléchargerais a documement but I accidentally hit open and do not think it would be a big deal. I guess its hidden somewhere in a temporary folder.

  When you had opened the attachment file in Microsoft Word and worked on it instead of click Save, then temporarily open file will be saved in the location of the Temporary Internet Files folder; provided if you had clicked on record, so that you will get an option record under to select the save location of the destination folder and accessing the save location, you can see the Microsoft Word document.

• Windows 7 converter for .dvr_ms to .wtv files works sometimes, but not always, on the .wtv MCE with only audio files.

  I use MCE to record radio in wtv format programs.  Then, I want to convert them to the mp3 format for general use on other devices (including another computer running Windows XP).  The first step in this conversion is at stage of wtv to dvr_ms.  For the most part, it works, but sometimes I get an error message.

  Error message indicates that the content is not compatible with the dvr - ms format.  Any ideas what this means?
  Other ideas to get directly in .mp3 format without buying third-party paid software?

  I used MC-TVConverter (MediaCenter TV Converter) to convert video files Windows Media Center successfully in other formats.  I have not tried audio only & I have no examples at hand to try, I'm afraid.

• Display artifacts DNG files in Lightroom, but not in Camera Raw

  I was scratching my head on this one for a few days, so hopefully someone here can help you.  Some of my dng images present artifacts in Lightroom 3, see attached example file.  However, if I open these images in Camera Raw 5.7 artifacts are gone!  The artifacts have also disappeared when I discovered the DNG in Windows Live Photo Gallery. The images are stored on a network server gigabit with the local LR on Win 7 PC catalog file.  Another thing I noticed is that for some images (not all) of the artifacts will appear in the library module but disappear when seen in the develop module. There is no "damaged file" error messages for Lightroom when viewing the affected files.  I've tried clearing Cache Camera Raw, but nothing has changed.

  So my questions are: these files damaged or not? Is there a way to fix this problem. Why they manifest in other image programs?  Is there a utility that can check the integrity of a suspicious file DNG?

  

  This looks like corrupt previews. Try to rename that file "[nomcatalogue] Previews.lrdata" right next to your catalog (.lrcat file) while LR is closed, and then restart LR. We will then build new insights.

• Since I have configured my Nexus 7 I receive email on this subject, but not in my Inbox in Thunderbird on my desktop PC. Why is this?

  I have a Nexus 7 run Android version 4.4.2. I get emails from my account gmail on it without problem, but they do not come in my Inbox in Thunderbird on the desktop PC more and I would that they. I don't have the mind to read emails on the Tablet, but I would say rather desktop, because I can actually type and the keyboard of the Tablet is a pain.

  If you want to access your account from multiple devices I use IMAP on all of them. That's what this Protocol was developed for.

  Using Premiere Pro CS6, I have no video when importing video shooting with the new Canon HF G30. The clips are shot in 1080 p @ PF25 (25 p). The audio is good, but there is no video. Clip of the same import AVCHD camera has no problem. Suggestions on how to get these clips imported with the video and sounds?

  For speed, I saved a file as c:\ac.jpg and then wanted to post it on facebook. I saved the file in the paint pro shop, doing "file" > "Save as" and then typed c:\ac.jpg.

  I can open the file in paint shop pro using exactly "c:\ac.jpg", or if I try and save it as c:\ac.jpg it tells me that the file already exists.

  However, I can't insert it into a word document, or add it to facebook using c:\ac.jpg. I am able to see it in my windows Explorer.

  For example, the file is there, but not visible to windows.

  I am an administrator on this private computer, using Win7 prof. I put my options to include all files and hide nothing, no path, no suffixes of file or anything - I want to see everything.

  Why are there two different implementations of the display and safety or anything that causes this problem?

  This seems to be just another piece poorly tested, mismanaged, MS software development once again.

  UAC prevents recording of files to the root directory (and some other areas such as program files).  For reasons of backward compatibility, when a program attempts to write to a restricted area, the file is actually saved in a special folder in your user profile.  The file in question may seem to be located in C:\, but is in fact
  C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore

  These links provide more information how to view the file in Windows Explorer.  You can then move it to a location better.

• Make the file readable but not removable via cmd or a batch file

  I am a windows user and I write little programs in windows using the language of batch processing. So I have a lot of work to do and set up different programs. But I am unable to set the attribute for a file that is accessible or executable but not removable. I mean I have a program and I want to set the attribute for this program unalterable, not removable. I've tried to set attribute with-s option as the attribute value of a file system and warns the user when deleting. But after you click Yes, the file is gone.

  So my question is that is it possible to set the attribute to one or more files to readable but not removable via the batch command prompt?
