  I can understand the frustration when you try to use an application or a function of the printer and cannot get it to work.

  I have a couple of steps that should help you to solve the problem.

  Try these steps and check:

  a. do not connect the USB cable first.
  b. go to settings / wireless & network/usb/connection and tap the icon of the samsung Galaxy phone.
  c. it prompts you to connect the cable. It's when you plug the cable and then another icon on the screen.
  d. If it does not, try to connect to a different USB port.

  You can use the software provided by Samsung to sync media, or you can use Windows Media Player.
