  I have a HP 8630 printer connected to my local network via a wired connection.  The printer works fine for computers on the same network with the printer.  What I call the 'normal' network

  I also have a Samsung Galaxy 3 smartphone using Android software 4.4.2.  I want to print directly to the printer from the phone using WIFI Direct.  I was not able to get this process works.  The smartphone is on the part "comments" of the network for security reasons.

  Can I use wireless WIFI Direct to the printer from the smartphone function when the printer is connected to my cable network 'normal '?  The router is a 3800 NETGEAR which has both wired and wireless capability.  The phone has the ability to «direct WIFI»

  I have a 500 Powerline with XWNB5201 access point Wifi. I installed as in the intstructions and although the connection Wifi Netgear-Ext2 works very well with my Windows 10 laptop but does not connect with my Samsung Galaxy Tab E.

  I tried every way but still can't make it work and there seems to be nothing in the community.

  Hi guys/girls,

  I have an old printer, the printer HP PSC 1210 all-in-one. Can I use my Samsung Galaxy s5 to print?

  My printer is already on the network, even if I have no way of confirming it.

  But I see this, so I'm assuming that the printer is added and shared in the network.

  Under my computer > network > MyHomePC > psc1200 hp

  I installed 2 apps in my mobile samsung s5 (version 5.0)

  I have the router wireless connected via ethernet on my desktop PC.

  Printer is connected by usb to my desktop PC, and it will print from the PC.

  Desktop PC - I tried windows firewall ON and OFF - cannot always detect printer on mobile.

  I can access internet on mobile wireless (via my wireless router with installation).

  So, how can I print from my mobile? My printer is maybe too old and mobile printing is not possible... as the compatibility issue, or something... I'm not sure. Do not know what more is necessary.

  I want to help you understand the problem that you are experiencing connection printer HP PSC 1210 all-in-one with your Android phone.

  Basically, the printer has the option to connect via the USB port. While you can share USB printer on other computers on your network, the phone will unfortunately not be able to see or print on it.

  What you can do, would be to install the Google Cloud Print app on your phone and add your printer as a conventional printer on the computer on which it is connected to. Note: the computer that the printer is connected must be with the Gmail account signed at any time.

  You can follow the steps described in this document to set up the printer with Google Cloud Print on your computer:

  There are several Android apps which will have access to the wireless printer.  Many dependent on the existence of a wifi network that the printer can talk.

  If there is no network available, most HP printers offer a second option - Direct wireless, which transforms the printer in his own "wifi hotspot", that can be printed on all mobile devices.

  But, in doing so, the Tablet does not have wifi.

  Someone managed to connect at 5 GHz with this router and this Tablet?

  Set the 5 GHz band on the router to a single, 20 MHz, and channel 36.

  Search for again the 5 GHz SSID.

  I guess it comes tab or the router and a band 5 GHz default radio.

  You have another dual-band device to test?

  Or the tab shows which group is used for other wireless networks around? Or maybe a network scanner? If she find any access points 5 GHz...

  I have an IPad and you are unable to print a document from my IPad directly on my printer HP Photosmart 6520. My wife has an identical printer so I can choose one or the other. I just bought a new cell phone Samsung Galaxy S5 and received an email with a Word document. When I tried to print the document, the screen showed the printer such as password protected. I've never set a password for the printer, and as I stated above, I can print from my IPad. I saw instructions for other readers of this forum with similar problems and solutions, after completing a few steps, was to push the WPS button on your router after going through some configuration steps on the printer screen and linking the two.

  The problem is, I have a Qwest modem and there is no WPS button. How is it, I can print from my Ipad without password and not from my cell phone.

  Are they (Samsung & printers) on the same network? Please use Play/Goodle store, search for "HP AiO Printer Remote" and install it on your Samsung. You can also use 'HP ePrint' app to print from your Samsung.

  Is it only these devices? If so sounds like a customer number. You tried to make debugging and reproduce the problem?

  I jut recently purchased the Asus x553m and it uses windows 8 (don't know if its windows 8.1 or not). I tried to use my samsung galaxy as a modem/hotspot s3. I tried to connect my phone to my new laptop with a USB cable and it recognizes my phone is here, but I have no internet. I also tried to connect wireless to my computer and it shows the wireless connection but when I try to connect, my computer says I can't connect and there may be something wrong with my phone. I don't think that's the case because I used my Samsung S3 as a modem/hot spot on my old computer that uses windows 7. I never had a problem with connecting to the internet via my phone then the time would it with a USB cable or wireless. I would like to know if there is a solution to this.

  If I understand correctly, you are not able to connect your computer to the WIFI Hotspot you created using your mobile phone.

  This problem may be caused, if there is no window recommended or optional updates are not installed, the antivirus on your computer firewall restrictions.

  I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

  1. You can set up a wireless connection on your computer Windows 8 outside the hotspot connection?

  I suggest you follow these method to solve the problem.

  Method 1:

  Install Windows updates and optional updates.

  Steps to install windows and optional updates.

  1. Press the Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
  2. In Control Panel, select Windows Update.
  3. Install all Windows and optional updates.
  4. Click on historical update to check updates pending or failed.

  Method 2:

  Disable the Windows Firewall and antivirus and recreate a Hotspot connection.

  Note: You should not turn off Windows Firewall unless you have another firewall is enabled. Turning off Windows Firewall may make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.

  I also suggest you to remove any unused computer WIFI connection and connect from the access point.

• NEX - 6 does not connect with Samsung Galaxy 2 Note

  It is a super common problem. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (fairly new device) connects with the NEX-6. I'm very savy when it comes to electronics. Yes, I did all the right connection. It's a bug in the software of the Mobile of PlayMemories application. Samsung Galaxy S2 wife connects without a problem. I tried to connect the Note 2 a couple dozen times before I tried the S2. So no, the connection with the S2's not interfereing with Note 2. If you look on Google where the application is downloaded, the user, game store section of you will see it is very common problewm between these two devices. SONY... Please solve this problem and difficulty. This was the main selling point for me on the NEX-6 and now I can't use this feature yet. • Firefox is running with cyanogen mod on a samsung galaxy ace s5830?

  My samsung galaxy ace s5830 was a 10.2 cyanogen mod version (compareable to 4.2.2 android). but it was not compatible with the real version ff for android. then I upgraded to version 11.1 cyanogen mod (compareable for android 4.4.4 kitkat). but the real version ff for android isn't always compatible wirh this hardware/software-configuration. download game google store is always denied.

  my questions are: is usually run on versions mod cyanogen (custom rom) with my samsung galaxy s ace 5830 ff?
  If no, which is the lowest (oldest) "samsung galaxy" - series, where I can download ff for android, and what version of android it takes me at least?

  That old phone of 2011 is ARMv6 cpu that is no longer supported.

  from Firefox 31.0 support for ARMv6 was ignored, because only ARMv7 and Intel x 86 is supported.
