Fill a shape with color outside

Good evening

I am looking for a way to fill a mask with a gradient or a blur similar mixture of colors just outside the mask. Twixtor plugin done impressive home for funds for the first timewarped plans the creation, but I can't use it, because, well, it is used for sequences of timewarp and so is slow as hell.

This is an example of how Twixtor, I would like to archieve something similar: from http://image.mastertobie.de/pics/501d584abb4b9.jpg to http://image.mastertobie.de/pics/501d5176a2276.jpg

I hope someone knows a way or a plugin that could act like that, I would be really grateful.

  • Fill the shape with the pen tool

  • Fill the shape with lines

I'm really new to illustrator, and I need to know the answer to this question quickly. If I did a weird form with 5 different lines how would I fill? Really, nothing happens when I select the rows, and then select a color.

Thank you for answering my question

I'll assume that you used the online tool to make the shape.

Shape to fill it must be what is called a closed path that you now are five open paths.

Here's what you can select all the lines and use the command or order J to join the end points and then fill it out.

But the right way to make the shape you want to do is to use the pen tool.

  • How to fill a shape with a picture

How can I create a form then fill with a picture?

PageMaker is a tool of frame of image with the ability to create basic shapes, rectangles, circles, ellipses and some polygons. There is a limited ability to change forms. Once you have created the form, then you can import the photo as part of the form. The other way to do is to create the shape in Photoshop using a clipping path, then place this image in pagemaker.

  • Define the pattern fill and gradient with color

    Hi all!

This is my first post in the forum of fireworks. Also, this is the first time I'm using Fireworks 8. It's a bit like Photoshop and Photoshop, I can do a fill with a custom pattern by creating a template and do a 'use as motive' and selecting this model and do a fill with it using the bucket fill and then by selecting the model, and fill with a gradient (such as blue-white)

I'm trying to do the same thing with Fireworks 8, but I don't know how. First of all, I created the template in a file separated and saved as a PNG image then in Fireworks, bucket filling (not degraded bucket) on model and then click 'Other' and opened upward model that I created and I filled the area that I wanted to. Now, this is the part that I can't figure out how to do. My boss is points spaced with 1 pixel between each point. I want their gradient fill and I can not blend them. Any help? Thank you

    Hi all!

In fact I just understand how do.

Once I made the filling inside the Rectangle, I flattened selection, took the magic wand to select and did a reverse selection filled with gradient with the color I wanted and I checked in the properties of the gradient tool marked "selection of filling" and it worked. I don't know if there is an easier way to do it, but that's how I thought of it.

  • A shape with a solid color fill

How you fill a shape with a solid color so that the color is confined inside the border/boundary of the shape and does not bleed outdoors, giving shape edges rough after filling?

I was checking the custom shape fill option which is present after you select the custom shape tool. If I use a new fill layer, the whole layer gets filled. Select the custom shape with choppy edges so quick Selection tool results. And nothing happens when I convert the custom dynamic object shape. I thought it would help, but it did not. I really need help. Also, I want to fill the shape with black. Thanks for your help.

  • How to put an external glow on a shape with no fill effect?

    Hey everybody.

I need to have form stoke No Fill/No with the outer glow effect. I tried but all in vain. I fill the shape with white and then put multiply, but this multiple effect, making the two invisible. When I go into the layer and change the fill multiply then the outer glow seeps into the form, and it's not what I want.

My form is a form of lotus/Crown. Screenshot attached.

I need to this 1 highlighted the form striking the outer glow that is present on the 2nd form but with no fill.Screenshot.png

Kindly help me out here. As I had struggled with this problem for over a week now, to start from forum to forum and tutorial tutorial but without success.

    Thank you.

make your object with two fillings in the appearance palette.

give the upper fill opacity to 0%.

Apply an outer glow for the background fill.

Select the object in the appearance palette (i.e. the entire object is selected, not one of its individual fillings).

in the transparency palette, check the piercing group.

  • question very simple-how to fill a shape I draw with color

Hello. I'm new to photoshop and have a lot of trouble to choose no matter what form that I shoot. I'm doing a tutorial that is to fill a gray canvas, then by drawing a small white rectangle inside the largest canvas/rectangle gray. (I have not forgotten to unlock the bottom).

My question: How can I select and fill (white) the second rectangle I draw over a gray rectangle?

In general, I can not understand how to select or fill any shape I draw using the rectangle tool. Similarly, the forms of brand tools are no help because I can't my gray rectangle to select and fill it with a white fill inspired brand. I also tried to use a "layer of filling.

I'm almost certain that something is wrong with my computer (I have reset), but still I have not used photoshop in over a year. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The Rectangle sgould tool create a work path, to shape layer or fill pixel according to the settings in the Options bar.

The rectangular selection tool should create a selection that you could edit > fill or use it as a layer of a solid color layer mask.

Could you please post a screenshot with the relevant panels visible?

  • You can color in a shape with the Brush tool?

I created a simple circle and want to color a predefined brush I have.

I know that you can use the shape dynamics and layers to change the stroke color and fill color. I don't want a fill, but rather that I brush, shadow areas, so it looks like I used a pencil on paper.

I also know that I can do this manually, making sure not not to "color outside the lines" and then delete anything outside the lines that I can wear a color by mistake.

However, I have many of these objects to the color and want the freedom to move my brush beyond the edge of the circle, coloring and shading quickly with my predefined brush.

Is it possible to use a predefined brush, color of a shape, but not the coloring to go outside of the boundaries of the shape you created?

    EI

1 fools the shape layer (Cmd + J)

    2 layer > rasterize > shape

3 wand. Select the inside of the circle.

    4. Select > Inverse and then delete. This will give you some ants running on the raster layer

    5. Select > Inverse so that the Interior of the circle is the live area

    6. brush and your work will stay in the circle

    An additional Tip:

At this point before you deselect the moving dotted line, choose the command selection > Save selection. In the future, if you choose to modify the brush in the circle you can remind the mobile dotted with Select > load selection before working on the raster layer

  • MS Paint "fill with color" tool does not work. :(

In the painting, my "fill with color" tool (the pouring paint can) does not work. I click on the box, I click on a different color, the icon changes to the can, but when I click on a space as say an empty circle, it doesn't do anything. Right click, nothing, left click, nothing.

I noticed that the only thing he is able to do is to change a solid color that I did (as a solid black rectangle) in a different color, but only once. If I rectangle black color green, I can't change it to any other color after. I don't know what is happening.

I am not edit a photo or anything btw, I start a new painting from scratch file. I'm trying just to circles of color and enclosed spaces. I've done this dozens of times with no problems. I tried restarting the computer and paint without effect.

  • How can you fill a hollow fonts with color in Indesign

    Hello

someone knows something about how to fill it with the color of the inside of a police dig?

The policy in question is ROSEWOOD (rosewood - download free fonts)

Here is a picture of the police.

    Rosewood.gif

The white parts are actually empty hollow parts of the police...

    Any suggestion?

OK, I found a solution... I found a version of the same font, called to FILL.  Using two layers, I was able to fill the police with police filling in the layer under.

That being said, I still wonder if there is a way to fill the hollow fonts with colours, where a policy of filling would be unavailable...

    All suggestions welcome.
