• I want out emails in folders of ordinary files, but when I drag-and-drop, the "modification date" gets changed. How I can still see the date?

  To archive my e-mail files until I decided to switch to Thunderbird, I create regular folders in windows and drag and drop emails to outlook express in the appropriate folders. The "update" column displays the original date of the email... which is what I want to do with Thunderbird. In my view, that he treats it as a new file created today... that is not good for my archiving system of these professional work files that I need to find often in approximate date.

  I understand the forum that it is by default in Thunderbird. There is an add-on that can do what I'm doing?

  I think the reason what OE is the original date because each message is stored in a single file, while TB stores all messages in a folder in a file, an mbox file. Thus, when you save a message as a single eml file, its 'modification date' corresponds to the eml file date was written in the mbox file.

  You can find the ImportExportTools add-on useful because it allows you to add the date of the e-mail eml file name when enamel is exported ("Save selected messages" of the message right-click menu).

• OS 6.5.1 setting of false creation/modification dates

  Just updated to 6.5.1 this morning and suddenly, all files in all directories have been updated with incorrect or false creation and modification dates. Using this one/mult shared defining where we rsync files between local system and the ReadyNAS, we have huge problems that all the files are in conflict. It also seems the files are updated with a user/group of root/root when each file should be owned by our own users.

  Help?

  It seems that the culprit was the Amazon Cloud Drive sync. I think that the reason 6.5.1 exposed the question was it introduced the 'support for two-way synchronization with accounts Amazon Cloud Drive' email release notes I got from Netgear.

  So, if you use the synchronization of Amazon Cloud Drive, I suggest not upgrading to 6.5.1 until you have disabled it. All then maybe after you upgrade, don't turn it back on? I'm not sure. I don't need to use it, so I'll leave it off.

  I'm trying to use file of a file modification date/time to fix a system of synchronization between a blackberry and a PC. However, the date/time of the file is not updated as I expected.

  The following occurs:

  -Using a program, a file is modifidied to make more than 100 bytes.

  -> When checking for windows Explorer (using the mass storage mode to access the file) the change date is updated

  -Using the same program, the file is changed to be the shorter of 50 bytes.

  -> When checking for windows Explorer, the change date is NOT updated

  -Using the same program, the file is modified to be more than 20 bytes.

  -> When checking for windows Explorer, the change date is NOT updated

  -Using the same program, the file is modified to be more than 100 bytes. It is now longer that he has never been.

  -> When checking for windows Explorer, the change date is updated

  The code that updates the file is basically something like this:

  Yes, delete the file is kind of a workaround. Last updated date/time will be correct. Created date/time will be of course lost, however, since the time created is generally much less important that her last updated date/time is better.

  I ended up doing the following whenever I change a file of Java code:

• Modification date instead of the date of Capture in grid mode

  I noticed that in Grid mode (expanded cell information) Lightroom see the change date instead of the date of Capture. How can I fix this?

  Sigh, metadata of image are such a mess, with different programs and operating systems using similar labels for different areas. I suspect what is happening with your images is that some of them didn't have not a metadata field "capture date".  If you download one of the suspicious images on Dropbox and post the link here, I can verify this.  (This is probably the most effective way to solve your problem, rather than a long exchange of posts.)  Also, note that the Date change is not as known as the Date of Capture.

  Gory details:

  The EXIF: DateTime of metadata fields (Exiftool called EXIF:ModifyDate) and XMP:ModifyDate are shown in LR in the metadata > Panel EXIF as "Date Time".  It is a metadata field defined as LR image manipulation programs whenever they change the image or its metadata.   This metadata field is not the same as the last modification date/time indicated by Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer - who is a field maintained for all files automatically by the operating system.

  The time, that the image was captured by a digital camera stores, EXIF:DateTimeOriginal and XMP:DateCreated. These fields are displayed in the form of 'Capture time' in the LR metadata > by default, and as a 'DateTime Original' Panel in the metadata > EXIF.

  When an image is missing EXIF:DateTimeOriginal / XMP:DateCreated, then for its 'Date of Capture' inside, LR 5.6 uses EXIF:DateTime / XMP:ModifyDate (if present), otherwise it uses the date of last modification of the file system.  (Versions prior to 5.6 had a different behavior, buggy).

  Depending on what you mean by "new sequence", Yes. Each trigger can only be triggered by actions on a single table.

  You need a trigger for each table. If they are very similar, you could wirte a script to generate the triggers, but it's pretty easy to copy and change the names of table and sequence.

  BEFORE is better.
  You probably want the triggers to fire before INSERTION, too, not only the UPDATE.

• Moving average filter w / continuous data acquisition

  I'm looking to filter multiple signals of noisey. I am currently using a NI9203 w / a cDAQ-9174 sampling to 1000 Hz. I use DAQmx vi to start the task and acquire the signal. I tried using coefficients.vi smoothing filter combined with IIF filter.vi (Avg.png movement) it seems to work for simulated signals and recorded data. However, when I try to use this configuration for an average of real time it cut everything just all signals to zero.  I looked into the use of shift registers, but to get the necessary result, it seems that I have to use hundreds of items.

  In the end, I'm trying to filter the signal to get a constant more of reading for the user. For example during operation, the user needs to review the current state of the values in real time. It's currently difficult when the noise indicates the values of +/-100 changing every 100ms.

• Filter for waveform data

  I'm trying to filter the noisy analog inputs of 10 channels (DC). I'm sampling of 100 samples/channel at 1000 Hz. My idea is to filter the data with a low pass filter (cut to 10 Hz 3rd order butterworth low freq) and then to calculate the average of each package of 100 samples. Finally, I would like to receive values at a rate of 10 Hz, which can be displayed on the front panel and be written in a file of measures.

  My problem is the following:

  The Express filter VI does not filter continuously after that the VI began. It seems to reset each time the loop runs. The table of 100 samples (white) before and after (red), the filter appear in the image "filterResponse". If I take the average of this table, it is of course less without the filter due to the transitory values between 0 and 0.025 s. I built a simplified version of my VI with only one channel using the VI "Simulate signal" and my concept seems to work well which is permanently (see "filterMeanExample.vi"). I get the idea that it might have to with the kind of dynamic data that is supported by many express VI. But since I'm on the VI KEITHLEY, I do not use the type of dynamic data. In fact, I had to convert a waveform data type to get a vehicle appropriate for the file of the measurement of its release.

  I wonder how to keep the filter VI of reset each time that the loop runs.

  My VI is rather large and contains the KEITHLEY 'Acquire signals' VI which most people do not have in their libraries, so I decided to show only the images.

  I used the VI of butterworth filter in the tool box to filter on the Panel of the Signal processing that accepts the type of table data. I put the variable ' init/cont' true to prevent the filter to reset its initial States to 0. I guess, it was my real problem before. The Express filter VI doesn't have this option, so I wasn't aware of this feature.

  However, an image of the current value is attached.

• Filter for table data, the range of data obtained and defined 2D

  I produce data of an ultrasonic sensor at 1 K Hz, and there is a lot of data (data points range of 0 to 10). However, in some cases when I know that the data should be about 7 (for example) I get outliers (about 9 and 10). Is it possible to define a filter for data in the defined range.

  I averaged the data to get an average value, and outliers are distorting. In the worst case, my outliers are 30 to 40% of the data generated. I created a filter to sort the data and, taken from the lowest value. I stop the loop when data reaches a value greater then 9. But this seems to take a long time (because the loop checks for each data point and there are 1000s of them).

  Is there a better way to filter data and define a predefined table range to collect?

  I enclose my filter.vi... and a set of samples of my previous data. The ranges of data of 10-8 and would like to have the range 7.5 to 8.5 to consider. The sensor records tension here and the problem can be solved by installing a different type of sensor, but if a filter in LabView can due it, the sensor that we use now is absolute.

  I am in kind of emergency, my design in unfinished because of this problem, if someone can find some time to share some suggestions, I will be grateful.

  See attachment.  I have incorporated the data you've posted in the vi.  It doesn't seem like any data were less than 8.7 or so, so I modified the scope so it would be a few points on average.  Some games were completely out of reach while the average came back like NaN (not a number) due to a division by zero.

• AF:table filter; ADF_FACES error date field

  I have a problem with the validation of the date field found in the default filter of an af:table.

  

  The problem is with the validation which is made by the ADF.

  If I enter characters in the text of entry date the above error is generated.

  How can I catch this exception and generate an appropriate message?

  Is it possible to put this text as read only as a way to prevent the validation of ADF?

• Modifed date and time display is not in mode files

  I upgraded to Fireworks CC a few weeks previously and suddenly discovered to date information date and hour "Modifed" does not appear in the site in the section "Files", or Local or remote files. The column is there but it is just empty. Other areas such as the size and Type are presented as usual. This applies to all of the many sites that I defined in DW.

  I use this information frequently (as with any FTP software) and would it show as usual I can compare the date and time stamps on the files.

  Does anyone know why this information would suddenly be absent since the upgrade?

• Filter recordset by date range?

  I have a php page that displays "orders" of a mySql database. Each command has a field named "weekof" that represents the week during which he will be treated. The value in this field is the date from the Monday of the week in the m/A format. I want to filter the record so that when the date() function is in the interval from Monday to Sunday all the records for this week will be displayed.   Please try the following-
  (1) open the chart bar in edit mode.
  (2) in the editor view, click on the button 'Properties', then go to the tab "Format of the value.
  (3) in the tab "Format of the value", to "apply to" drop-down list, select your datetime field.
  (4) in the contiguous list of 'Catégories', select 'TimeUnit' as the category.
  (5) in the following list of 'Type', select 'day of the week.
  6) click OK/application to see the relevant changes.

  Now you should be able to see the day of the week on the horizontal axis 'Thursday', 'Saturday', etc.

• Reading file Modification date

  In Flash 8, I know there is the FileReference class but it seems to be based around downloading files. Is there a way to read a date of modification of the existing local files only? I have build an executable that loads a .swf file and the .exe has just need to know if the file has been updated. It checks periodically change, ideally. Any help would be appreciated with this.   Another thought... his was curious why you need this information...

  I can only assume that its because some external process to the projector exe file creates a new SWF every now and then... one with the same name as the one you have loaded.

  If so, could you not get this process (whatever that is) to also save a text file with the date and time at the time of the update the swf file?
  Flash load this value from the text file when it starts with loadVars and (if you want more persistence a sharedObject allows you to retrieve/store the old value).
  Regularly - check the text file and then compare with the old value each time. I know that this approach seems clumsy, but you are quite limited, unless you want to add some additional file systems api via a 3rd party etc. projector tool. Its also difficult to propose an option because I don't know why you need to do this... I'm just guessing.
