  This expression finds links pretty well.

  When I put in a .jsx file and fire in the actions palette, it does not work.

  The following works, but obviously does not correspond to as many hypertext links:

  http\:\/\/([\w\-\]+[\.\/]?) +

  as in

  ([app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = ' http\:\/\/([\w\-\]+[\.\/]?) +';

  I tried to add?,-?, and? but it bombards the - no match.

  Same with initial either / or between http as the beginning of the pattern and www.

  I wonder if a grep javascript guru could give me a clue as to how to translate it?

  Hey!

  Definition of GREP via JavaScript needs to use to escape. If your GREP in JS expression would look like this:

  app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "(www|http\\:\\/\\/)([\\w\\-\\?\\=\\&]+[\\.\/]?)+";

• "Cannot find file" dialog box

  I get a dialog box after you start Win7 32-bit which indicates just that "cannot find file."

  He is obviously trying to load something but I have no idea what...

  Any ideas where it might come from?

  Is there a utility somewhere that shows this boot file is loaded?

• Empty dialog boxes and missing text in tools

  Acrobat 10.1.8 - Adobe Creative Suite Standard

  Has several dialog boxes have become empty and fill the entire screen, for example the box that appears when a scan is complete.  In addition, when the tools are displayed (and the buttons on the toolbar for the tools are not there anymore) the icons but not the text.

  I guess it's either a police problem - maybe some fonts used by Acrobat have been deleted - or I have to download the prgoramme and reinstal it.  But I can't find a download site for Acrobat 10.  There is no problem with the other Creative Suite programs.

  What should do?

  Make sure that you have the complete Segoe UI font family. These aren't the Adobe fonts, but essential Windows fonts.

• Cannot find the dialog box 'Create Slideshow '.

  I have the first Elements 7 and I'm trying to create a slideshow.  The help page refers to a dialog box 'Create Slideshow', but I don't see that anywhere.  I looked in all the menus, each icon and I tried right-clicking on the photos that were driven down to the timeline, but no slide show option.

  I did manually slideshows using PE7 before, but it's a big pain to have to manually set the duration of each slide, rather than changing the default sort.

  There are actually four different ways to create slideshows in Premiere Elements, and I'll show you how to do each one in my books.

  But I think you are referring to the slideshow creator on the project Panel. To use it, select several images or clips in the project Panel (by selecting that you hold down the Ctrl or shift) and right click. This will open the Panel I think you are looking for.

• Suddenly, folder on the left trees on "save under ' / 'open' dialog boxes are missing...

  Hi all

  Today I discovered that my folder trees suddenly disappeared. What I mean is the following:

  (For example)

  1. Open Notepad.
  2. Go--> save as
  3. I won't be able to see the folder hierarchy.
  I have tried a few programs (Microsoft Word, Editpad, Chrome, etc.), but all of them show the same problem. I have no idea what the trigger is either. :
  I googled a bit, but many of the results were for Windows XP so I don't think they will work. No doubt in the hope of help here ((:)

  1. Run as administrator command prompt.
  2. Type "sfc/scannow" (without the quotes)
  3. Wait until it has finished
  4. Restart your computer
  5. Problem solved!

• The find-> find Messages dialog box has no place to enter search terms. How do I do that?

  'Rainbow' on your screen lines is a sign of a corrupted graphics driver or graphics hardware fault

  If gettting the latest graphics drivers from the manufacturer does not resolve the problem contact the manufacturer of the computer, if under warranty

  If it is under warranty, contact a local reputable computer repair store

• Find/replace doesn't work does not correctly

  I'm changing this symbol "<" to a ball of Wingdings.

  I put the symbol in the field of research, but when I stick the ball in the change of field it is a small ball (I'm not the biggest ball stick). When I go ahead and make the discovery then / change options, it replaces the symbol in the document, but the only thing that remains in place is an empty space pink highlighted as if I do not have the police Wingdings.

  Use the tab of the Find/Replace dialog box glyph. It is much more accurate. You can choose exactly what glyphs you want in the find and change of the form:

  Ok. So I think this will do what you want. A couple of things to note:

  It will search through each TextFrame in the document. Your script only looked through the first layer. A reason for this?

  I'm having a heckofa problem and was hoping that someone on these boards may be able to help.
  
  I have 1000s of links that I need to deal with, and I'm afraid to do it by hand. Many links are now bad links - and they are & quot; bad & quot; in a very predictable way, as they it comme ils l' appellent call contain & quot; PHP? title = & quot; -If I want to find the bad code link and simply remove the & lt; anchor & gt; tag and leave the text containing such what.
  
  My guess is that this should not be as difficult as it is, but I could be very wrong here.

  Search: Specific tag
  Selected tag: has
  With attribute: HREF
  
  Here is where I get confused. The & quot; attribute & quot; option has & quot; =, & lt; & gt;! = & quot; as the optoins. So I tried the equality operator using two regular expressoins (* php\? title\ = *) and without regular expressions(php?title), but no matter what I do, no links are. I'm very new to regex so maybe my code here is maybe bad. I wish there was a & quot; container & quot; the option with exposed attribute, but there isn't.
  
  So: do one of the y ' All DW gurus have ideas on this subject? I'm pulling what I left aside during this little hair.

• Disable auto-fill in the dialog box find and replace?

  Apparently, this question was not asked before, or at least the Adobe search engine can not find 'Find replace' in the forums. Is it possible to disable auto-fill "characteristic" in the find and Replace dialog box? I think it's dangerous. Find and replace in a coding environment must be very deliberate. Caught off guard, more than once, with attempts to Dreamweaver to do my thinking for me. Thanks for any help!

  Oh without a doubt the fault is mine. Last minute search / replacement of a site, by request of the customer. (No matter WHAT last-minute editing is not asking, it's begging, in trouble, but it is also real life.) Still, I can't blame anywhere but with yours truly, but it would be nice if Dreamweaver offers the opportunity to help to protect me from myself, somehow.
