Firefox 19 - Unable to connect to secure sites?

Since I updated to Firefox 19 I can't open some pages like the AOL sign in page and other newspapers in the pages that seem to be secure pages. There are even pages of Mozilla that does not open. Hangs it just browser (nothing appears in the browser tab) even if the address appears in the address bar. I had to use another browser just for this issue! Which breaks with the update? I have no plan to upgrade any of my Firefox browsers in my other machines until it get sorted.

Hello, you can try to reproduce this behavior when you start firefox in safe mode, once?

  • V27 Firefox expires now access to a secure site

From v26 to v27 Firefox no longer has access to a secure site (Timeout with connection reset message). Critical problem that my clients can no longer be at the cash register if they are using the latest version of FireFox. When it stopped working, I went to another machine (Windows 7 64-bit) running v26 and it worked very well - then upgrade V27 (the ONLY thing that has changed is the update) and it has stopped working. The two machines to access the server secure via IE11 without problem.

Just got a message from my support for the shopping cart system and they confirm that v27 prevents access to the secure server (so nothing to do with my "machines" or network - it's a bug of Firefox).

Does anyone know when this critical error introduced in v27 is likely to be fixed?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Philippe,.

Yes, after a lot of work to reconfigure the servers they finally got it to work.

Thanks a lot for your help :-)

  • Unable to connect to the site of wildtangent games

    KServer questions?

After several weeks on the site of WildTangent Games, I am now unable to connect.  I tried several times to the direction of their support staff with passwords provided by them.  Now they say the problem is most likely an error in KServe (KClient, KStatus).  Also, I have Norton AV and got no where with them.  What is the problem and what can you do about it?  I'm not savvy in computer science.

    Hello

A K (including KServer, KClient, KHttp and KStatus) error message typically occurs when your computer attempts to communicate with our servers, but the security software installed on your computer prevents that the communication does not occur. I would say to contact the forum of Wild Tangent games below to submit your question. It would be better option for assistance.

  • Unable to connect with security WRT160N

I saw another old post on this subject, but it is not a resolution.

I have used this router wireless g (with WEP security) for months now, I'm switching to n.

I can connect mode n without any security enabled.

With any type of security enabled, I am unable to connect.

I've upgraded to the latest firmware.

I do not know how to enter a WEP key

    Please help if you can.

    Thank you

Use really secure settings, i.e. personal WPA2 with AES encryption and a password strong. WEP is badly damaged.

  • Unable to connect to the sites - msjava.dll error

I finally got a new PC with Windows XP (Windows 2000 before a). I installed contribute CS3 and it works fine when I connect to two of my sites that are internal to my organization (hosted by us). The other two sites are hosted by an ISP outside of our Organization, and I am unable to connect to those. Other users can connect to external sites with Contribute, so I know that's not a problem with the access provider. When I try to connect, I get the standard Windows error box which States "Contribute has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. "and when I click to see what is in the error report, the ModName is msjava.dll. I did a search for msjava.dll on my system, and it does not exist in my windows folder.

If anyone else has experienced this? Any advice on how to find/fix this problem?

    Thank you
    Kathy

I solved this problem. I went on the site of Sun Java and downloaded the latest version. Once has been installed, Contribute worked very well.

  • Unable to connect to some sites

My computer cannot connect to a site.  I have a second office that connects to the site.  The site is not busy or closed.  I either get a time-out or a forbidden message.  I turned off my firewall and anti spyware and no change.  I'm at the end of my rope here.  When I try to reset my default firewall it says that it cannot make changes.  But I really didn't ' know if this is the problem or not.  I have modem cable xfinity and as I said, a second conncts to computer with the site.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the advice, people.  I ended up having the Microsoft technical support (bought a contract of 1 year for $149) repair the problem.  The first day the tech spent 2 hours on this subject and had to have a second tech level II remembered the next day.  He spent six hours on this subject and the computer ran and installed updates for three hours.  Yet once the next day he works on it for another three hours ended reinstalling everything.  I found everything to work excwept the printer/scanner.  I then uninstalled and installed and downloaded the drivers updated on the Epsom site.  Everything is good.  I'm happy that I didn't have to sit at the computer all the time to fix it, even if I had all the instructions.

  • When I try to access a web site, that Firefox displays 'unable to connect '.

I have access to Firefox and select a web site
Firefox cannot connect poster, the "try" button again does not help
It started right after I did a system restore

    Hello amayberry!

Because what's going on any website, you go to, can access you other webpages via Internet Explorer or a different browser?

Also try restarting Firefox with disabled modules. You can do this by clicking the top menu button on the left and find him "?" icon at the bottom of the menu. Then select 'restart Firefox with disabled modules... »

Also, I noticed that you did a system restore. If you are unable to access the internet at all through any browser, your Ethernet or WiFi drivers may be outdated or does not work properly.

    Thank you, Matthew H.

  • Unable to connect to a site web - says Adobe Flash Player and JavaScript problem

For more than a year, my daughter was able to use the Web site for children for the lively game. Ago about a week after it has loaded the site and clicked on "Let's play", instead of check-in at the login screen, she received the following message - "to view this content, you must activate JavaScript and you need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. I found this confusing, because we all software up to date. But, just in case where I did everything he said... still no results. I then contacted the web site support and they recommended I uninstall Adobe software and reinstall it. They sent me specific links from Firefox to do. Always without success. I don't know if some updates have taken place in the last week that may have caused this problem with the web site, but it's very frustrating for us. In addition, we are able to connect (as we used to be able to) on IE, but we love Firefox - Please HELP! One last thing, I am also unable to open web site to my work computer, which also uses Firefox. I'm a fool to the computer, so I would need instruction step by step... Thank you!!!

  • Unable to connect to the site

It is therefore a very strange problem. When I try to connect to website aftonbladet.se , I get an error message telling me that there is no such thing as aftonbladet.se page that I am trying to connect. But just trying to connect at aftonbladet.se not subpage on this site.

If I try to use IE, it works perfectly.

I cleaned the cache and checked the proxy config.

No idea what could be the problem?

Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

You can delete all data stored in Firefox with a specific area through "Forget this Site" in the context menu of a history entry ("" history > view history "or" view > sidebar > History "") or via the subject: permissions page.

Using "Forget this Site" will delete all data stored in Firefox in this area as bookmarks, cookies, words of past, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain you don't want to lose then check that back up these data or make a comment.

You can't recover from this "forget" unless you have a backup of the files involved.

It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.
