Firefox 4 protects you from dangerous websites? I miss Norton scoring function
The Norton toolbar has been removed when I upgraded to the new Firefox 4 and site safety ratings have also been removed during a search (certain sites were evaluated dangerous by Norton if you know to avoid them.) Is there a safety device built into the new Firefox 4 that will allow you to enter in dangerous sites? If this isn't the case, I'll examine the downgrade to the old version of Firefox. Thank you.
Norton is a fix available for their toolbars.

I'm sorry for being stupid. I have read several posts, but I don't know if I need another spyware program to run along the coast MSE. IObit 360 ECT or malwarebytes. MSE protects me from all know threats?
MSE is all that you need to protect you from antimalware. The definition files are updated approximately every 24 hours, and it does a great job to protect you. NO anti-malware product you will protect against threats KNOWN of ALL. And by running several products is probably not provide you more protection and will likely impact of the performance of your machine. At the very least, several products require more administration and support.

Dear all,
Firefox crashes when I try to play flash videos from any website, but when I run firefox as administrator, it works very well. (but Google Chrome, Opera & I.E9 video parts without administrator.) I use Windows 7 & Firefox 7.0.1. Help, please. One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

When you print from a website, the font size is very small and difficult to read. How can I increase the font size?
Hello
You can shrink before sending it to the printer (also enlarge).
Just use the Print > print preview
Under retractable small drop to the bottom of the window, simply select the correct % for you.
Kind regards.

I couldn't use Firefox because it wouldn't load websites (it would just load for several minutes before giving up). I have reset and the problem persisted. As a last resort, I uninstalled Firefox to see if then put it back would solve the problem. Try reinstalling Firefox, after clicking on "Run", my computer says that Firefox is 100% downloaded, despite the fact that it has been uninstalled and is no longer on my computer. As a result, it is now impossible for me to launch Firefox. Any help?
On the main download page, you get a small "stub" for Firefox installer that needs to connect to additional files. Firewalls or other components can sometimes this fails (even if 100% doesn't look like a failure...).
Can you try to use a "full" Installer from this page - made scroll your preferred language:

Which works best?

my PC Backup, Reg Clean Pro & Research protect ALL grafted onto my Installer Firefox 26, for which I had to replace my Norton caveat regarding security issues.
Based on your research, I also substitute a Norton Security warning.

You downloaded firefox from the official site. Sometimes the software gets supplied with malware or adware, as in your case.
In some cases, I recommend uninstalling (your software also mentioned), FF data directory deleting and then reinstalling FF of mozilla.org -
I installed the latest version of Firefox on my laptop (Windows 7 Professional 64-bit). The thing is that firefox prompt to save passwords of websites. I'll explain you a little more away with an example: suppose I load www.gmail.com. When I login, the password manager key is displayed on the left side of the address bar, but the corresponding window which would ask if I want to save the password or not, does not appear. I tried all the possible solutions. It is true that when I restart firefox with disabled modules (safe mode), password manager works fine. But I don't really use Add-ons that could prevent firefox to save passwords. I disabled all add-ons and ran firefox in normal mode, but the password manager does not work yet. Please keep in mind that I tried everything and that any post not published so far describes a similar problem to mine case. Consider that I have the same I have configured the entire system from the beginning. The problem appeared again from the first time I launched firefox. At that time, I had not installed any antivirus software and there is no add-on with firefox. Hope someone can give me a valid solution...
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

It is possible that there is a problem with key3db and signons.sqlite files that store the encrypted names and passwords in Firefox.
Rename signons3.txt and signons.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder.
You can add .old files (key3.db.old and signons.sqlite.old) names or move them to another folder to make it possible to cancel the action.
You must define a new master password after renaming or removing the signons3.txt and all the currently saved passwords are lost.
If that worked, then you can delete the renamed files that are no longer needed.See:

How to copy and paste text from a website read chrome using the Xperia z3v?
I've searched high and low for a way to copy and paste text from a website in Chrome using the Xperia z3v. I tried a long tap, double tap, a triple tap - nothing works.
I am able to select text, copy and paste into a Word doc, however. There must be a way to do this on a website in Chrome. I am sure that I don't mean to select text that is really an image. I'm trying to copy some text. Here is the link where I try to get the text. It's a recipe.

Maybe I should try to get Firefox for smart phones and see if it works.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
You should do a tap wait a second and 1 click at the same place and hold the second tap.

Hi useful Folk,
'Quick Look' attachments Mail preventing you from downloading spam?
There are times when I'm trying to determine if an email with an attachment is legitimate, but I'm afraid of "Quick look" attachment lest it somehow temporarily download a virus or some other disaster.
Anyone know if the Quick Look feature is basically the same as a dangerous file download?
I can't find all the items online, including on Apple.com support pages, who carry on this.
If you can QuickLook the attachment, it is already downloaded.

Password Bank found that Firefox has been uninstalled from this computer
I get this message and let me know what it means. "Password Bank found that Firefox has been uninstalled from this computer. Please confirm following elevation request to remove orphan password Bank support.
Hello!
It seems a similar problem has been reported in the past, already, for example here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/954186
Chances are that you have advanced security software on your computer that you're not using (banking password), which can eventually be removed from your computer (because it seems that you do not use).
I would suggest finding the control panel for your computer and removing Bank of your system password, if you know how to do this.
