Firefox 5.0 disabled an add-on, which is associated with my anti-virus software. Is this disabled module if I use another browser too or just in Firefox?

I just installed Firefox 5.0. I have also just renewed by subscription to Webroot Internet Security Essentials, so I have the updates on that as well, and apparently something in the latest Webroot is not compatible with the latest Firefox. When I open Firefox, I get a message that a Webroot 1.7 'Add-on' and a few files associated with Webroot (I wrote not them down and the error message disappeared) have been disabled. What worries me, because I do not know what part of my antivirus program has been disabled by Firefox. My Webroot reports that it is functional and up to date.

What he says is that Webroot has a special add-on for firefox which does not match the version of firefox you have. Webroot will still work, but it will not use this special accessory. You may or may not have a similar attachment that it is bundled with other browsers. I'm not sure. All-in-all, the module is not the main part of your anti-virus, it's just a piece of bonus, they give you.

Firefox has not disabled your anti-virus software, and using another browser will be no more or less dangerous than before that.

Think of it as a vacuum cleaner. He always goes to the vacuum cleaner and clean, but the small fancy brush to clean baseboards or something does not fit immediately.

They have most likely only need to change the small part of it that shows what versions of firefox, it will work with, if the chances are that if you keep an eye on, there will probably be an update soon with a version of the add-on that is compatible.

  • I have 2 problems-how can I activate my Add ons and how to uninstall Windows Anti Virus. I need help, please.

I have Windows XP 32-bit with IE8 Add ons.  I mainly use Firefox Mozilla for my browser and Yahoo as my home page.  Anyway, I have tried all the support and help guide and technicians told me to do to get add ons to open and activate but in vain.  This computer was given to me as a profession, and it was used in a Bank, so I think that the system administrator has disabled the add ons.  I myself as an administrator and use the tips and tricks given windows and Microsoft, but I always run up a wall.  I need help, please.
I also need to know how to uninstall Windows antivirus software.  I can't find anywhere on my computer.  I feel really stupid and he is probably right in front of my face, but I can't find it to uninstall.  I have McAfee that I paid dearly for if I want to use it until it expires.

This "Microsoft antivirus' witness (AKA Trojan W32/FakeAlert) hijackware infection!

If you manage to somehow move to Win7, you will always have an infected computer.

The ONLY way to solve the problem is by formatting the current hard drive and do a clean installation of Windows, whether it is WinXP or Win7.

The ONLY way you can do a clean install of Windows XP if you have disks that came with the computer or if by chance, there is a hidden partition restore (not to be confused with the system restore).

If your kids er - well & their spouses are going to spend money on a new HARD drive, they'be be better spend on a low-end Windows 7 computer and brand-new (for example, a netbook or a mini).

NB: Any data on your Windows XP computer must be considered 100% reliable! (This includes all of your usernames and passwords, for example, those used for online banking, etc.) You do NOT want to put ALL the data from Windows XP to a new computer or HARD disk.

Good luck, Grandma. Hope that your grandchildren will treat you better than their parents.

  • Which is associated with the value of the HR2000 + spectral data via the pilot VISA

    Hey all,.

I have the HR2000 + ARE here and I got successfully talk with labview and I can't change the integration time and extract data from the spectrum.  I know that I will have to take into account the lack of the CDC of efficiency regarding the higher wavelengths and lower wavelengths, however I do not think that I am still at this stage.  In my dark spectra, I get about values approximately 8700 through all pixels.  I have not the slightest idea about what exactly that is corresponding.  This is related to a saturation of each pixel value? I know I'm getting closer to this operational, but it seems to present an obstacle in my way.

Thanks for any help or ideas that anyone can offer,

    Hi John,.

Thanks for your post. So you're properly acquire your data of your instrument through VISA. I'm a little unsure where exactly you need assistance. Your question is about entering your data in LabVIEW, or is it to interpret the data you receive? The manufacturer of your device would be able to contribute to explain what values you receive correspond to the terms of the pixels (saturation value or otherwise). However, if you're wondering how to manipulate your data in LabVIEW or need help with specifications for VISA, etc. then that is something we can certainly help you with us!

    Hello

Take a look at the matrix compat UCCX: If you upgrade to 7.0 (2), you can use Windows 7 as the OS for CAD platform (no SR on 7.0 (1) you would do). The problem is that the train from release 7.0 (x) has reached EoL and EoS, so even if you can download the upgrade to 7.0 (2) here, I absolutely recommend you take a look at the opportunity to upgrade your system to 9.0 (x) or same 10.0 (x).
