  • Right click menu was very, very long which it wasn't before

After upgrade to version 20, made a right-click menu got very, very long that it wasn't before. That's happened? Therefore, it is easier to use. All my Add-ons are up to date, if it's important.

Thanks, I did check the updates also from the page modules. I have Firebug 1.11.2.

However, now it seems that the problem has been fixed when I started Firefox in safe mode, all modules turned off, then switced on one (try to find who was, I have not), then restarted Firefox again normally: bing, returned to the normal menu.

  • How can I get 12 of Firefox to open a link from Google search results?

Since the upgrade to version 12.0, whenever I click on certain links in the browser just "recharge" the same page, as I'm on instead of loading the new page in the same tab. When this happens, it's not to open the link in a new tab or the tab on a window, instead, just for a second, I said 'connection' and has the circular busy light, and then I'm right where I was before. In order to actually follow a link, I'll have to, click background, and then click Open in a new tab.

On many Web sites, the links follow as usual and open the new page in the same tab. Others have not, however, like the google search results page. I wonder if it's something to do with the new feature anti-double tab and if yes, how do I disable that? I'm on OS x 10.6.8. Thank you.

  • Why Firefox come in 4th in a Google search?

Enter the search term "Firefox" for a Google search results in Firefox 4 future results.
The position is not the biggest problem, which is a very big problem, is the fact that the other results are fraudulent Web sites that install spyware and adware software during installation. I already talked to a person who has been duped by this, because he expected that Firefox would come first and clicked away.
This is a MAJOR issue for Firefox as it will discourage people from using it if they install it inadvertently from a scam site. The big question is... is deliberately disrupt the search results so that Chrome will get the best market share of Google? Even they aren't, don't you think they should do the honourable thing and make sure that Firefox comes first, I mean it's not like they manipulate and censor the results of research, so why didn't they in this situation. I was always a big fan of Google, but this is the first time I feel that they can get something. I'll probably address this on a forum of Chrome as well because it is a very serious matter for the livelihoods of Firefox, which have already had to deal with Microsoft. I have good memories of NCSA Mosaic and the legacy of Firefox and feel angry over this.

Looks like a change in the terms of use Google which may have brought changes in the pages of search results. See the screenshot

I don't know what it looked like before because I use ABP filterset blocks this redish / pink section altogether - all "ads" are blocked.

Google less noble? They sell advertising! The difference now-a-days is this very low shade for the paid advertising section is almost impossible to see. I remember, the bluish tint was easier to see. Then again, maybe it's the eyes just these oldman not seeing red, but also the blues?

  • Base installation of firefox works fine, but if I add an add-on I don't click on the Firefox button and cannot right-click. Even if I add a theme or a character, it is the case of the joints.

I can't right click or click firefox, or one of the menu buttons. If I disable the Add-ons, it works fine. How can I fix it?

If your problem is not moved in Mode without failure, likely due to an acceleration of the extension, theme or material. Follow the steps in Troubleshooting extensions and themes:

    • Disable hardware acceleration
    • Put yourself in the default theme
    • Disable all extensions
    • Test for faulty extensions

... while checking after each step to see if the problem persists.

  • Firefox crashes when you use the Google search

    BP-9a5cb747-1cc2-499E-816b-aff7a2141124

When I try to search on Google, it will close automatically and it happened every day.

Unfortunately, this accident involves your Norton software. Perhaps it checks links in Google results to see if they are trustworthy?

Can you go to the Add-ons page and see if you can disable temporarily check links to see if that helps. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then locate the Norton Toolbar and a button for Options see if you can change the way it works. If all else fails, try turning it off for a few hours (Firefox can show a link to restart if necessary to disable the extension).
