Firefox button looks weird
The use of Firefox 4.0 RTM, the orange Firefox button in the upper left has some graphical artifacts. There is a small white box on the left side, lower half of the button. It only does it on this particular pc and has done since the first beta I installed. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or knows how to fix?
Here is a link to a picture of what I'm talking about.
Thank you
David
You have the add-on of FoxTab? This one has caused this for some people. Disabling or uninstalling FoxTab should solve this problem.
If you don't have FoxTab, an another add-on is likely to have caused this, use the procedure in the following link to identify what one - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

Pdf in the browser form is not working and look weird
On the next page, I have a pdf form and it does not work and it looks weird (logo has changed color, button missing, strange looks heading):
http://www.palomat.dk/files/billeder/palomat/Formular/Bestilling_PALOMATinlinemappe_DK.PDFI have checked and it is not only a form of pdf, its forms of pdf that behave strange.
It's something that started to happened recently and it works fine in IE and Chrome.
I don't see that the design of the pdf viewer has changed, so I think it might have something to do with the fact that there has been some sort of update of the viewer of pdf in firefox or something?Hello, firefox 19 introduced its own Viewer integrated pdf - if you want to switch it to the plugin you used before displaying a PDF file just go to the firefox options > applications and scroll down and set the default action for the portable document (pdf) format.

This window looks weird: there are 2 blue bars (the blue top bar - normally, there are 1, with the name of the current page and - Mozilla Firefox written in white within the bar) as well as in the 2nd bar there is an orange firefox, on the left side button.
I already asked this question and advised to start in safe mode - that did not help either.
Please help me quickliy, it's really annoying.

Title.
With hardware acceleration: http://imgur.com/jHRk6Yl words 'empty' look and really weird air instead of being "BOLD". But if I disable it, normal fonts look "weird" in some Web sites (not all) and are difficult to read.
Any solution?Thank you!
Hmm, another user Windows 10 reported this after installing some Helvetica fonts.
In your screenshot, the text 'blue indicated' is the following style rule:
font-family: "helvetica neue",arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
So I guess you have Helvetica Neue installed locally, which seems to have strange problems in Firefox.
If you don't want to remove this font on your system, you can use custom style rules for Firefox overrides Arial, which is what I see on Windows 7 on this page. I saw the first time that documented in this article (from 2010!):

Why my left arrow (when the window is expanded) look weird?
I use Firefox on Windows 8 39 on a laptop. When I have my window open in full screen, the arrow to the left has a little extra Maroon color "leg." If I make the window smaller, the correct graphic appears, but in full screen, it looks weird. The program of closing and reopening does not solve the problem and not missing onscreen. See screenshot.
Too bad. I went here and gave Firefox a focus and he got rid of him.

The orange firefox button hidden even when the menu bar is not checked. 29.0.1
As noted, my orange firefox navigation button has disappeared since the update to 29.0.1. I tried the two manual deactivation of the menu bar and boot into safe mode. In both cases, the only thing indicated is the tab bar, the address bar and the bookmark toolbar.

29 of Firefox and later versions have the interface Australis which seems different from the UI in Firefox 28 and older versions.
- With the interface Australis orange Firefox menu button has been replaced by the three Menu of Firefox button at the right end of the Navigation bar on the bar
A consequence of this new menu button is that you can no longer hide the Navigation toolbar - There is a star as the button at the right end of the search bar on the Navigation toolbar to bookmark the current web page and a "Show bookmarks" button next to it to open bookmarks in a menu drop-down
- It is still possible to have the bar of menus visible through the context menu on toolbars to have menus like the bookmarks menu

Firefox button is missing. Windows 8.1 help?
Initially, I was trying to install a java (JRE) plugin, and most of the solutions told me to visit the Add-ons of firefox via the firefox button. The top of my web browser looks like this:
https://i.imgur.com/Qp2jTNS.PNG
so I clicked the button on top that looked like a firefox button and here is the result:
https://i.imgur.com/PBJTpm0.PNG
Then I saw images of what it is supposed to look like (thank you, mozilla, to provide those. I mean that) and thought that maybe I just an outdated version or broken, so I uninstalled and re-downloaded. It looks the same. I feel kinda like egoraptor gamegrumps for their beautiful little moment. (if you don't get the reference, it is not important)What is - this and how to fix it? (
You can open the Tools menu and select Add-ons, or you can press Ctrl + Shift + A.
If you want the button Firefox, right click on a zone empty of the tab bar and uncheck "menu bar".
Don't you well too accustomed to the Firefox button. The next 29 (planned for release in a month or two) Firefox has a redesigned interface. The Firefox button in the upper left will have disappeared, replaced by a menu button 3 lines on the right side of the navigation bar.

The orange Firefox button and the Navigation toolbar is on the same line
Someone interfered with my Firefox settings and goofed a bit. Now the orange Firefox button and the Navigation toolbar are on the same line/line, as shown in the image below. Can you help me with the Firefox orange button at the top of the Navigation toolbar (as usually is the case)?
Thank you very much! I had this same problem. I'd rather have my tabs at the top, in line with the orange. For some reason any that an add-on reset my 'browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar' to false, which looked horrible and wasted a whole bar of space by the presence of a large space empty on the top of my screen. It fixed my problem!

Firefox on Windows has two configurations of different menu:
- Bar menus classic full-width
- Compact menu accessed with a Firefox button orange
I'm looking for Options. In the classic menu bar, they are under Tools.
To activate the menu configurations, you can use one of these:
- View > toolbars > Menu bar
- Right click on a zone empty of the tab bar > Menu bar
