Firefox for Android Tablet supports Flash Player?

I have a Samsung tablet. I love playing Call of Gods. It requires Flash Player in order to play. I found Flash media players, video players, but not do anything to play browser games.

Firefox must the Flash Player that I can use to play games online on my Samsung Tablet?

You did not specify what Samsung tablet you have.

It is a specific pill that does not work, it is the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 this is due to the tablet with an Intel processor. Adobe Flash Player was built only for the ARM processors.

  • What is Firefox for Android will support files?

As with bookmarks in a specific folder, or move a bookmark to a folder to another. Chrome has had this feature for a long time more than a year now, but I don't want to use Chrome. I love Firefox.

Thanks in advance. I wonder. There may be something material that I do not know, but it just seems like this is a basic function of bookmarking that I think that Mozilla would be put in place by now for mobile.

I don't know exactly, but I suspect that it is something in the order of priority (aka. There is more important things to do), but it is certainly a feature that is often requested.

one way to do it now would be to use firefox sync with a desktop device, where your android bookmarks will go into a dedicated "mobile bookmarks" folder, you can organize the way you're used to (with folders and items rescheduling...).

How do I set up Sync on my computer?

  • Firefox for Android, Adobe Flash Player and Samsung KNOX of conflict.

    Hello.
I have a Galaxy Note 3. If I go on youtube.com in Firefox, play a video, click on full screen, Firefox will crash and a notification will come with description and title 'prevention information' "a request was forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system... ». This notification is generated by 'Knox Notification Manager', an application that comes pre-installed.

I know that this problem is probably not exactly lack of Firefox and some other browsers are capable of managing the exact situation even without any problem. You can solve this problem, or is there a configuration I can do to fix this?

    My system info:
Device: Samsung Galaxy notes 3 (T-Mobile)
    OS: 4.3 Android
    Adobe Flash Player version 11.1.115.81
    Firefox for Android version 26.0.1

    Hi feer56,
    Thank you for your response.

It is interesting that there is no entry about: page of the accident and it's even more bizarre because I can't recreate the situation more crashing! I made some changes in the settings, maybe it somehow have it fixed...

    Anyway, sorry for that.
PS: I tried to delete this question, but apparently it's not possible.

  • Why Flash Player does not work with Firefox for Android Beta?

I activated the plugins (not just tap to play, enable) under display settings, but when I try for example www.speedtest.net , told me that I don't have Flash installed. Flash works fine with Firefox for Android(non-beta), I can use www.speedtest.net very well. I have a Galaxy S4 I9505 running Stock Android 4.4.2 official Touchwiz. I hope that this problem can be solved! Thank you very much!

    Hi haoyangw

Speedtest.NET works very well on my S5 Galaxy runs Android 4.4.2 (I don't have a Galaxy S4) on Firefox (release) 30 and 31 of Firefox (beta).

    Please try:
    1. try to reinstall flash

    2. try to disable the other modules you may have

If this does not help, you may have a bug. If you are technical please fill in a bug at bugzilla.org

Without worrying you please let us know if 1. and 2. above for help.

  • Why don't build you firefox for android versions prior to version 2.2. My android phone has android 2.1 Flash version.

My phone has Android 2.1 version (Flash). Unfortunately there are no updates available for my device, even in the future. I consider you as a top developer if you can optimize your browser to support my mobile device. And I know you won't, because as a developer, it is very difficult to work on older versions of android, and which took time. Really, I have made a worse choice my mobile device.

This is for technical reasons. Firefox for Android requires a feature called OpenGL ES. Open GL ES is used to draw on the screen. Android 2.2 is the first version of Android to support OpenGL ES 2.0 for applications of NDK.

    Hello
I use a bluetooth keyboard and noticed that the classic keyboard shortcuts do not work with Firefox for Android. This is a major gap, with chrome, you can use the same shortcuts on the desktop version, it would be nice to have a comparable feature on Firefox for Android too.

Hardware keyboards are a useful supplement to the tablets and the last iterations of keyboard 'sexy' as one that is available for the Google Nexus 9 are practical and folio desiderable.
    Please add this improvement soon!

  • Firefox for Android (4.2.2) - what are the problems with the presentation of the Web site?

For the vast majority of websites read Firefox for Android did a great job. But for some websites there are the following two issues - either the website opens but not all content correctly (buttons missing, menus does not, fault of formatting), or Firefox for Android crashes when video or flash on the chosen site is enabled. As the video works perfectly on other sites, I can only imagine that there is something on some sites that Firefox for Android is not satisfied...

In addition, properly installed Flash Player for android 4.0 of Adobe's Archive (11.1.115.81) still crashes as well.

(YouTube works perfectly, by the way!)

Which checks that I can do or what settings can I change to fix this problem?

Thank you for your question, it strikes a few topics that I would be happy to help you with.
    For the first:
not all content correctly (buttons missing, menus does not, fault of formatting).

This will depend on the Web site. Buttons and menus can be designed to use javascript and the formatting can be dynamic according to the plethora of screensizes that designers of web sites planned for the website to be seen by.

Firefox for Android crashes when video or flash on the chosen site is enabled

It will depend also on the Web site. Some sites will be equipped with a built-in video player and others will use the installed video player. Flash compatibility is also related to the hardware of the device. He needs an ARM7 over my head.

What we can try to do to change that. Try another video player for sites giving questions. If its possible to download a local copy and watch the video on the video player of choice. It is also an option to try to ask the site Office of some sites won't load not well. If the site detects a drive by default, you can try VLC.

  • Why Firefox for Android crash when I try to play any multimedia content or plugin?

I got this ASUS MEMO Pad unit for 6 months and Firefox for Android has never been able to play any media or plugin content without crashing. I tried to play with the appropriate flash installed plugin flash and without and it crashes every time (it should not crash even without the plugin - it should do).

Same HTML5 video and audio mp3 will cause an accident each time (with tap to play on or off).

There is already a bug filed for this and I don't know the exact cause of it, or what to offer as a solution.

  • Firefox for android mobile phone said app can access the following on your phone... take pictures and videos? Is there a work around? If not have to uninstall.

I have Firefox for my laptop and wanted to use it on my phone Android mobile phone. When I saw under permissions that the application can access photos and videos and can take photos and videos that seemed very odd. Does anyone know of a work around to keep the app to take photos and videos without my permission? I do not want to uninstall but can allow the intrusion of privacy.

We have a help article about why this permission is here: how Firefox for Android uses the requested permissions?

Specifically, some sites may give you the option to attach or embed an image directly from the camera instead of going through a folder of pictures already taken. In order to support this feature, Firefox requires permissions to access the camera. However, according to this article, Firefox will ask your permission before leaving the site to use the camera. I don't think I have ever seen this in action.

  • How can I remove the Get Firefox for Android box on the homepage?

Recently, I noticed that I constantly see a box on the home page of Firefox asking if I want to send me a link to Firefox for Android. Is there a way to delete it? I tried the solution with a similar issue in 2012, but the solution doesn't seem to work this time: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/937849#answer-370222

These kinds of "ads" should have an option to delete, as I already have the application installed and do not want to see it more. Firefox is usually of choice, and a button to mark the div html with style 'hidden' should be very simple to implement.

I think it would be great if there was a button to reject individual code snippets that you do not want to see again. But... I'm not aware of such a thing at the moment.

If you look through the recent posts about the excerpts on the home page, you can find a number of different methods to hide their. For example:

  • Given that v37 Firefox for Android crashes soon after startup

I use a HTC D316d (CDMA) with Android 4.3 in China.
Up to v36, Firefox to work without problems, but v37 crashed seconds after starting. I reset all the data, but without success.
Then, I installed the nightly version (38 at this time here), and it worked without problem.
It updates everyday, and now with v.41, the same problem again, Firefox hangs at the first page loaded.
As I put the bookmark page as my home, I can open Firefox. It will crash in a few seconds the display of web pages like de.yahoo.com or www.google.com.
There is no error message, the phone comes back just to her homepage.
No idea how to solve the problem?

I think that the new Manager will memory out of the operating system, but for now, it is possible to realize the management of memory with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.apps.memory.ma...

Also with regard to the amount of memory is needed for Firefox for Android. The most recent I could find is:
"The binary is about 35 MB, uncompressed after installation, it's about 60 MB"
