Firefox works better with a lot of memory, so if your system has 2 GB of memory, you may be limited in the number of windows and tabs you can open simultaneously before things get bogged down compared to a system that has 4 GB of memory.

  According to Sibelius website, http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/compatibility/Sibelius-Scorch-plug-in-compatiblity it works with all the latest versions of all major web browsers. Please update Firefox 38.0.5 and then update scorch. Update Firefox to the latest version

  I'd be skeptical on an antivirus software download page if it says that it requires you to use only Internet Explorer to work. Make sure that you are accessing the correct web page and does not download from a third party site (where you can download anything other than a security suite, without your knowledge).   I have install the driver of web of selenium and the latest version of java. I had to go back to 3.6 and worked my way up from there. Version 12.0 is the latest version that works for me.
