Firefox just crashed and erased all my settings completely

31 Firefox just hung on me, so I closed it and when it reopened it was returned to Firefox 30 and all, bookmarks, settings, plugins, history etc. has been deleted. I guess I'm screwed? Well one thing is certain, I will now focus on alternatives, it's the end of Firefox for me after all these years.
