  Therefore, the lock is more part of Firefox; It has been removed from Firefox 4. The padlock shows that there is a secure connection, but does not provide any additional information.   I am running Firefox 19.0.2 on a Win 7 64 bit PC version and have noticed that on the pop-up windows, when the address bar is present, I get the message "go to a Web Site" on it rather than the address of the Web site. If I click with the right button on the icon of the little world on the address bar and choose Customize and then close this window without making any changes, the address of the site is full. Does anyone know how to get the address of the site to automatically display on the popup? My PC Win XP Pro is not this problem and popups always display the address of the Web site without having to do anything.

  Hey Urbano... I finally got the Bandsintown html code to work properly in Adobe Muse. I created a new white master with no background, images, etc. and applied to a new, blank page. Then I pasted the original HTML... with no changes and no additional graphics on the page. It worked... I could see all the information of the tour. Then, one by one, I added additional elements to the master page... as image background, menu, logo, etc. I kept it check each time I added an item until my page has been done. It worked. I have no idea, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that "by default, the widget uses the styles of the page, in that it is included". I'm not a coder either... just determined to understand! LOL I hope it works for you.

• Firfox is always loaded on my computer, but does not open. Would not open after that I did a restore (have XP).

  I did a restore (Windows XP). After that Firefox would not start. You can see the "Hourglass" for a second, but nothing happens. I tried the Mode SAFE Start and it wouldn't work. I went into the program file and tried to open with the .exe of the fie. Nothing, I don't don't want to lose my favorites by installing a new version. I have tried creating a new profile becauae I don't know if I can do it right or even if it would work.

  I advise that you think... a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. But it's not too difficult.

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  First, save your profile by saving a copy of the profile file... See: profiles of boards - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
     • Windows:
       • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
       • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
     • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
     • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
     1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
     2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

• When I visit a site, firefox reports invalid security certificate, but does not add an exception

  When I visit a site that has an invalid security certificate, my mobile me has a nice little dialog box telling me that the connection is not reliable and allowing me to view the site by clicking on ""I understand the risks"my office however shows a completely different dialog box." It is a simple dialog with a title of "Alert" and said... use a security not valid certificate... I don't trust blah blah and an ok box so I can never continue on the site.
