  Sorry to hear about this. First of all, Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be useful if your bookmarks are lost or missing.

  1. Click the Bookmarks button

     (> Favorites), select show all bookmarks.

  2. At the top of the library window, click on import and backup , and then select restore.
  3. Click on the date of the backup of bookmarks you want to recover.
  4. In the new window that appears, click OK.
  5. Your bookmarks in the selected date should now be restored.

  If the above does not work, it could be that a file has been corrupted (namely the places.sqlite file). You can install the extension of Maintenance of places to run maintenance on the file.   How can I return my thumbnails in my photo folder.

  I recently installed "FlashFire for Vista", which caused a few problems, i.e. it erased my System Restore Points and it made my system slow so I uninstalled.

  After that, I noticed that I could not see one of my thumb nails in any folder.  I tried several things to get, but without success.

  Go to start / Control Panel / folder Options / View and uncheck the "Always show icons never thumbnails -."  Click OK and exit.  You may eed to restart (although I don't know - even if I do not).  That should take care of the problem.

  Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click on your drive icon / properties / tools / error checking.  Try first by checking do not each box (that it will run in read-only mode) to see if it reports any problems file or hard drive.  If so, restart it by checking both boxes and restart to allow him to attempt to fix any problems found.

  Did you create a new profile?
