Firefox uses pop - ups advertising for revenue?
I think installation of Firefox, but I don't believe in a "free" lunch ERGO my question.
How can 'give away' Mozilla Firefox? It is supported by advertising pop-ups or sale of navigation data collected?
This has happened
Don't know how many times
User Agent
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729 .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; NET4.0C)
The only advertisement popup you get overrides popup blocking is against malicious software, already installed on your system to your browser hijacking. This is all browsers, not just Firefox.
How do we know this? Popups will never happen on non-windows operating systems where there is no malware.

Recently a kind of male-ware jumped to the top of windows when I do a secondary tab or click on a piece of information or something like. Also get a video ad in the lower right. These appear to occur separately. I followed the steps outlined in the help section. Downloaded Malwarebytes, it ran, still having the problem. Reset computer to a previous date. Still having the problem. Pop-up window comes up with the firefox logo in the corner. Takes too long to load, I usually close it until I can see what the devil is really. To appear a lot tho and really become a problem.
Help, please.
Thank you

A notification can up on some type of script, which then disappeared before I could take a note. After that links up on all web pages would not work by using the mouse cursor.
It was only the links on a webpage, not on the menu bar or tabs above. To see if this happened on another browser, I opened the pages using Internet Explorer and open the links on all the pages that are controlled via the mouse. This sugested, it was a problem with Firefox.
I uninstalled Firefox and installed a new application of the latest edition of Firefox, but the problem persists.
No known cure for this problem.
This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

Stop the pop - ups advertising on my Windows 7 computer
original title: stop pub pop upHelp, please. Thank you!
Where do you see popups?
The operating system is preinstalled on your HP computer?
If so, the OEM installs the operating system and can include other software and programs that may be advertising. If you do not want additional programs, you would like to install a retail version of the operating system, so you can install without any additional software.

How do I allow pop ups for a particular site?
Piedmont natural gas requires me to use pop ups on its site to me to pay my Bill with my credit card. How to allow pop ups to work for this site only?
Your Linux distribution does not offer an update of your version of Firefox, or do you not answer the requirements for the current version of 31 since you are using a version of Firefox 11 very outdated?
You can find the full version of the current version of Firefox 31.0 in all languages and for all systems operating here:
You can set the exception of pop up through the window ' tools > Page Info > Permissions.

What are these nuisance pop-ups in email?
I recently got a new iPad Air 2 for my birthday, and last week I upgraded to iOS 10. Now I get these very annoying pop ups when I write a new e-mail message. Here is a screenshot-
I guess that someone at Apple thought I would find these useful or instructive pop-ups, but for me, they are nothing less than a nuisance! Surely I can disable them...? How?
Hello

Today, I opened Firefox 36 and I saw that there are updated. I've updated to version 37.0.1. After the browser is restarted, I realized that it works very slowly and opens a pop-up advertising to this address:

Help, please. I really need.

In addition, delete the file User.js in your profile folder you have.
The user.js file does not exist by default. If you create the file, forget it, if you do not create the file, and then remove the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs create and write to the file also).
Thank you

How to stop the irritating pop ups on the web sites, I searched using Fire Fox? My simple solution is to switch to Internet Explorer, it does not occur when I use for example
This looks like a problem possibly caused by malicious software on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search

This is from a visualwebcaster.com, and my security settings are not on pop-ups
You can "afford" a site under
Tools > Options > content
using the first Exceptions button on the right.
But pop - up can also be blocked by some toolbars as a bonus feature. You can check out their options. In particular, I would check bars such as McAfee security software.
Even if a toolbar is not normally displayed on a full-time basis, he could still be active. You can use view > toolbars to view and check its features.

How can I disable the bar advertising for Firefox iOS &; Android?
I recently started to see a pop for Firefox iOS and Android advertising when I use Firefox on Windows 7. It takes the form of a notification, just bar below the URL bar read 'bring your bookmarks and passwords with you. Firefox is now on iOS and Android', with a 'Get it now' button and an 'x' to close right (see screenshot attached). I've closed more than once with the 'x' and it keeps popping up (perhaps only once per session, I don't know).
I would like to get rid of this annoying little announcement. I looked through: config and settings of the ordinary, but I have not been able to find a way to remove it. Adblock Plus doesn't help, of course, because the announcement seems to be integrated into the browser itself. Anyone know how to stop this thing nagging me everytime I open my browser?
Sorry, this is a message from the heart function. She undergoes a bug right now. Better to turn it off if you can get immediate relief.
To turn off the heart rate:
Talk openly about: config config in a tab, then search for browser.selfsupport.url and double click on it and set it to an empty value. You may need to restart Firefox for the changes to take effect.

Pop ups on my site go into firefox
On my site http://troonbijdevijver.nl , I worked with pop ups. In firefox, they do open, but disappear immediately in the background. What can I do to display the pop ups in the foreground?
Problem is resolved... Thanks for your suggestions. Eventually, I discovered that I used "on mouse supported" like behavior of DW, but I should have used "per click". It makes no difference in IE or Chrome, but it does in Firefox...

Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.
