Firefox version problem

I had the 12 Firefox version and began to get from Gmail and other sites, an error that says that my browser is not supported.
I've updated for Firefox 13.0.1 and for a few days, I have not had any problems. Today (not sure if related) I installed an update of Flash, and not all sites tells me that my firefox is outdated.

Hello, your useragent (browser ILO sends to sites it is loading) obviously wrong shows you on the version of firefox 3.0.15. Please refer to the last section of this article to reset the settings of the user agent in firefox: websites say that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version

Firefox 4 versions and later, do not run on a PowerPC Mac and require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

IE display this window for me
I have the latest version of flash player
I hope you can help me.

Another question. Dose has a 64-bit version firefox?

    Alireza salvation,

It looks like a known issue reported here:

    https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=713014

There was a workaround solution posted, but I have not tested it myself. Here are the steps.

    1. Go to the Yahoo Messenger Options - change the window in the tab menu and press OK.
    2. Then go back and switch to the small window and press OK.

Once the bug is resolved formally, you could try to run every night or Aurora build to use the hotfix at the beginning.

    Hope this helps!

  • Firefox version 37.0.1 - "serious safety defect".

I went to http://www.greenpasture.org/public/Home/index.cfm , and it displayed the following message is displayed:

We see that you use as browser Firefox version 37.0. This browser presents a serious safety defect and is not recommended for use on this Web site. Please change to Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari or Opera or another browser to continue to navigate this site without problem.

    Is this true?
-If not, why they display it, who else thinks that this is the case, and whence this rumor?
-If Yes, when is this corrected?

PS - I'll send you a print/copy of my computer screen to your Web page of "Feedback" feature, but I could not submit it here. You can add this feature in the feature?

I have just returned to the scene to capture a screenshot of the Message Security and it is no longer present. I guess that Mozilla or greener pastures solved the problem.

  • In the most recent version, problem during the download. Ex: If download us a PDF file to open it in an adobe, is to keep showing it "Download" in the download window.

I've updated the latest version. Yesterday, I tried to download the Torrent file and open using the open or save dialogue, that's not completely download. It's show TIME UNKNOW REMAINING and not fully downloaded. Even if I close firefox and open it again, still, is to show the same thing. I thought that this is the problem in my system, but the system has the same problem. every 3-4 days, you're releasing a version. I don't know what there is in each version... Correct the problem. This kind of problem will travel to users of other browsers such as Chrome.

Hello saththomas, this is a bug in the latest version 32 beta 9 (Please note that questions are to be expected, when you use software in beta - changes to the construction stable firefox version string).

a workaround for now would be to conclude Subject: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears), click somewhere on the page, and then create a new string with the name browser.safebrowsing.appRepURL and the value https://sb-ssl.google.com/safebrowsing/clientreport/download?key=%GOOGLE_API_KEY%

Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

  • Great Javascript movies have not run smoothly since Firefox Version 17.

I asked this question in April, but has won just one useless answer. Nothing has changed since then, while the newer versions of Firefox have been released.

Please click on Javascript (250.00 MB) on the http://aia.lmsal.com/aia_cadence/aia_0193_rdiff_orig_20120623_0630/AIA_0193_RDIFF_ORIG_20120623_0630.htmlpage. It works without problem in Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer, but using latest Firefox version 15, partially empty frames appear, making it difficult to see the film.

I first thought the problem was combined with Mac OS (mine is 10.6.8), but the same problem of empty frames is noted in 22 of Firefox on Windows 7.

Therefore, I must conclude that Firefox has started to screw up on Javascript since version 17 (or 16, which could not be released).

Thus, developers, please check what changes have been made in version 17 (or 16) on how to manage Javascript movies.

You can create a bug report to see if there is a possible solution since it is apparently a regression.

  • Java version 7, updated 17 is NOT recognized by FireFox version 19.0.2

Sigh. He has such a cacophony of solutions to solve Java installation problems that even a user strays. The last solution to the problems of installation of Java refers to Java v7 u10. The solution is yet to indicate the version of Firefox, they run. It comes to March 2013. The latter was published in September 2012.

Frankly, I am very, very disappointed. I love Firefox - but someone dropped / is dropping the ball on this one.

What on Earth is the solution for Firefox version 19.0.2 not recognize installation of Java version 7, 17 update?

    Anyone in the community KNOW?

    Answer to my own post:

Out of all the solutions posted about Java install problems, I was able to glean one thing: a re-installation of Java and a reinstall of Firefox may well resolve the issue.

Well, for me, so far, he has.

    The simple steps I followed:

    1. Create Restore Point (Control Panel, search for "Create a Restore Point")
2 uninstall my version of Java (Panel, "Uninstall a program")
    3 reset
    4. Download Firefox latest version (for me, was the 19.0.2, version in my downloads folder)
    5. download AND install the latest Java (now version 7, updated 17 @java.com)
    6 reboot
7 install the latest Firefox ("Firefox Setup 19.0.2" application-double-click in my downloads folder)
8A started Firefox (NOTE: my current extensions and plugins are not affected) and went to my favorite site that requires Java.
9 THANK GOD, it worked! (NOTE: he did ask me if I wanted to RUN THIS APPLICATION)
    .
I hope it works for you.

(Technical note: all posted solutions, I have taken note that it becomes clear registry entries are not updated or are deleted.) The re-installing Java (after the withdrawal and reset) and the re-installing Firefox solved 'my' problem).

  • How to print a web page in PDF format in Windows 7 after Firefox version 8?

Some web pages do not print to PDF after Firefox Version 8. The result is incomplete PDF or progress printing stops at a certain point and Firefox is stuck. For example, the following web page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Lincoln prints to PDF with Firefox Version 8, but it does not print with any version newer than 8 Firefox. Note that the latest version of Acrobat Professional produced the same results, but also the other PDF generating tools such as 'FreePDF XP' and 'Bullzip. Also, the same web page on this same machine prints of in Internet Explorer. However using Internet explore is not a solution for our needs.

Thank you for looking into this.

Could you also try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? I don't know if this affects printing at all, but just in case.

You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

If you restart Firefox, you will notice no difference?

A standard Diagnostics in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Mode without failure of Firefox.

First of all, I recommend you backup your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox. (You can copy your profile folder Firefox together somewhere outside the Mozilla folder).

Then restart Firefox in Mode safe (questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode) of Firefox help

Help > restart with disabled modules

In the dialog box, click "start mode safe."

If you can print PDF files normally, it points to one of your extensions or custom as the problem settings.

To also disable plugins, you can try here:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Modules > Plugins category
