Fireworks Brush Lag?

I really want to learn how to effectively use the Fireworks, but it just is not happening like that... I don't know if it's something wrong with just my install or software, but when I use the Brush tool and the Brush tool only, it is extremely laggy like if I do something extremely complex (after finishing to draw a circle for example the brush will be about 1/10th of the way to draw and I can look at the loop).

When its this, the brush is refreshing like crazy and makes me crazy

Is it supposed to do this because the numbers of adobe you do not use a brush to make shots in web design or is something wrong? [Them] Specifications of the system below

AMD X 2 4200 + @2. 4 ghz
GeForce 6800 gt
Win Vista Ultimate x 64
2 GB memory

No, you experience the performance issue is a problem. I don't have such lag on my XP machine, but apparently it's a compatibility issue with Windows Vista and Aero interface. Try Turing off Aero.

  • Unbearable adjustment brush Lag

    Hello.

Faced with a few adjustment absolutely terrible brush lag for centuries now. Everything works perfectly, my graphics card is perfectly fine, and I make sure that no other programs are running in the background. She is too sporadic – I could have little or no harm in a photo and monumental questions in the next. I tried absolutely everything possible to reduce the lag without result. Any suggestions?

Yes, of course, fixing it is out of your control, Adobe can only solve this problem by reprogramming of this function, and it won't happen in version 6.

  • Brush lag

I just wanted to share a problem that I had in case others are having similar problems. I use LR 6 and for a while had a lot of problems with a lag adjustment brush. I studied a little bit today and noticed that even if you use the GPU acceleration, my CPU run at 80% while brushing. Tested turn off VAC GPU and CPU is down to 20 - 30% and the lag disappered. My theory is that the implementation done something silly like the mixing of data like crazy to the GPU during brushing, which would make it less effective than the regular CPU processing.

It is clearly indicated and explained by the lead developer of Lightroom, which brush and spot healing will be faster with GPU off

  • How repairing brush lag in Photoshop CC with a Cintiq 13 HD (on apple OS of Mavericks)?

I bought a Cintiq 13 HD a month ago and have been using it with Photoshop to make a book cover and teach the concept art in a University.

All with Adobe Photoshop was working fine, I can remember / noticed, until this last week or so.

All of a sudden, there is a significant amount of lag brush - to the point of being completely unusable Photoshop.

I spent hours pouring through the web looking for answers, but nothing helped.

In Photoshop, however, need anywhere from a very small delay a full delay 1 sec - subsequently the brush * usually * catches back up with me.

If I try to quickly write a dozen little lines, sometimes shots of Photoshop brushes completely ignores, or only put a brush stroke 'space' or stamp, what you call.

This happens even if I use the most basic airbrush with the settings by default - I'll have a delay, an occasional skipped stroke altogether, and a little casual point where I started the brush stroke followed by nothing until I lift the pen and go to the next race.

I also use Corel Painter X 3 in my work, and there is no lag whatsoever. I scribbling a dozen tiny lines as fast as I can and the Cintiq and Corel Tenez_ you right with me.

I tried to play with the GPU and OpenGL, nothing helps. My GPU drivers are up-to-date (I'm on a mac, so it's automatic). I tried to change the Performance of basic, Normal and Advanced preferences (being sure to restart Photoshop every time) without any real solution. (I say that changing settings advanced GPU seems to produce a record a little more quickly in general, but not in the sense as I speak to you in this post. Exactly the kind of regular shift of what is expected.)

    I'm on a Macbook Pro for mid-2010

Intel Core i5 to 2.53 GHz

    8 GB Ram

NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M 512 MB graphics card

With the help of an SSD drive 512 GB of free space

    OS X 10.9.5

All Adobe products are completely up to date and I tried to reinstall the drivers of the Cintiq.

    I'm out of ideas.

At my University I'll teach my class the basics of the design of the vehicles soon here, and I would prefer to use Photoshop to the painter for this sort of thing, because its not superior paint tools. But I cannot paint when my brush strokes randomly not appear on the screen, or lag, so I don't see what I'm doing if I work quickly.

    Thank you for your help.

    Bryan Beus

    Solution found!

The problem is in the pilot of the Cintiq.

I thought about it because as I go to Corel to do my work, I noticed that my lines were shaky.

    Really, really irritating.

But... when looking for solutions to this problem, I saw that most of the people it is resolved by installing older versions of the drivers.

I installed Cintiq 13HD pilot 6.5.3-5, since March of 2013

    Works like a charm.

It is this new, bad driver 6.3.9 - 3 that was the problem on all accounts.

    Such a relief!

  • CC was last updated caused brush lag on all versions of Photoshop.  How can I fix?

Since the update of last week at CC, I noticed a decrease in performance on all versions of Photoshop, I installed, CS6 and CC.  Many of the brushes I by default Photoshop and my own custom sets, lag horribly at the establishment.  My system didn't already have this problem that I can tell.  Just to be sure, I tested Photoshop on other versions, a macbook pro and a near top of the line PC.  The lag occurs on all systems.  I tried drawing with just the mouse and the Cintiq 12WX and responsiveness is the same.

For the reasons of this case, here are the specs of my main work computer.  All the drivers are up to date, as is the operating system:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40 GHZ

    RAM: 8 GB

    Operating system: Windows 8 (64-bit)

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series

Hard drive: Samsung 830 256 GB Solid State (where my player scratching's)

    Monitor: 2 X Dell U2410

I tried to change the settings of OpenGL and disabling altogether on all generations, including this one. There is no change in the shift of the brushes.

Full for clarity, here is high near the line of PC specifications and the Macbook, which both had the same questions:

    The PC:

Processor: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4 GHz overclocked to 4.4 GHz

    RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz

    Operating system: Windows 8 (64-bit)

Graphics card: 2 X EVGA Nvidia GTX 670 4 GB SLI

    Hard drive: 2 X Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD, Raid 0

Monitor: 27 "Cinema Display from Apple

    MacBook Pro:

Processor: Intel Core i7 2.7 GHz

Operating system: OS x 10.8 Mountain Lion

Hard drive: Western Digital 500 GB 7200 RPM

Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 630 M

I also tried to uninstall completely and re-installing Photoshop CS5 and CC on my work computer, which still has not resolved the problem.

I'm a freelance artist and this sudden loss of performance puts a cramp in my time and possibly in my income stream, if I can't solve this problem quickly.  Please advise!

Well, after a completely useless tech support call, I managed to fix it myself by checking the attributes of each brush dragged one by one.  As far as I know, almost all troublesome brushes share the attribute of having their game of spacing to 1%.  Change the spacing of a higher percentage setting the lag helped tremendously.

I downloaded a video illustrating my lag issue, but also the solution. I hope this helps someone else to be the same issue:

I found the problem: not adobe, wacom, not the pen wacom drivers not the operating system.

This is the Tablet wacom itself that is broken. I borrowed one from a friend and it works. The sensitive area of my Tablet creates this glitch.

That being said, I'll take this tablet out of the window.

  • brush lag into PS CS5 with OpenGL - too slow graphics card?

Hello, I know this has been discussed already but I could not find a current response and I didn't want to resurrect an old thread.

I have a Geforce 8600GT and I have the normal Brush tool is too laggy regardless of the OpenGL settings can be found in CS5.  I don't want to miss the new features when I turn off OpenGL either, so I hope I can at least as good performance as withou OpenGL with a faster card.  Even without OpenGL, the brush is a little laggy, but it is acceptable I suppose.

You get revenge or better performance in OpenGL and if yes, what card do you have?  I hope that he'll cut off a Geforce GTS250.

Quadro cards have better performance because the drivers?

    Thank you!

    Edit:

I forgot to ask if tried everything with success of Ati cards?

As the Crossfire/SLI works well in Photoshop?

Soon new video cards are surprisingly cheap.  My preference is for ATI, but many of them like nVidia.

  • Why photoshop cc lagging so much on my new computer?

I just spent $ 1000 on a new dell inspiron 7548 and photoshop is slow so that it is difficult to use. I use it mainly for digital painting and my brush strokes cannot deal with my cursor. I draw a line, and a second later it manifests. Even that move across my canvas with the hand tool is extremely delayed. Undo something takes forever if it works at all. I tried some of the usual suggestions online increasing, but nothing helped. I think it has to do with the display of hd 4 k or something. I also tried to change the UI scaling as suggested in some other forums and nothing changes (I tried to restart photoshop and my computer). Any help would be fantastic. I need to get this working for the work.

You use a mouse or a tablet. What size documents you are editing.  Are you zoom out so brush strokes change million pixels. What are your brush settings, what type of brush.  Many factors can add to the latency of your experience. When you set the brush spacing 1% use a mixer with a big tip brush and zoom out you should be able to see each pixel fixed mix and dry something requires a lot of calculation to simulate.   You are not using real brushes and paint on canvas where thing happen at the time, these physical processes take place.  Your in the digital world calculated when your using Photoshop.  Make sure that you not too much to ask. Test your settings. If you zoom way in use as small hard with spacing of 20% and have lag you have a problem. Experimet with setting. I see only a brush lag with no blocking on my Windows 7 64 bit, 12 GB memory, processor i7-860, monitor 2560 x 1440, during the processing of raw 21Mp 5 d MKII image files. What file monitor resolution and the image that you use?

A few possibilities. I apply no correction of distortion of lens profile (quantity = 0) and you are also apply transformations to the image.  Try to set all THE transformations and Corrections lenses to 0 and try again apply the adjustment brush settings less complicated and the number of applications so you can report exactly what pushes it over the edge.

  • Photoshop CS4 sudden lag after installing the Tablet driver

    Hello..

So my PS CS4 had never shifted before, it was all working perfectly, all functions will quickly. I have been using the latest driver for wacom intuos 3,.

but with the help of a new pilot, I had a weird pressure problem. It works with an older driver, so I uninstalled the latest driver and this has changed in the old driver. But it won't work unless I have trash preferences photoshop (the ctrl shift alt thing)...

Suddenly everything just lag, even if no pressure problem... Brush lag, lag tool of text, everything, even moving the canvas window gal. I do not know how to return the old preferences, I tried increasing virtual memory from 4 k to 6 k MB, but no change. In the performance tab I changed the memory use of 70% to 80% without change too.

I would try to change to the new wacom tablet, but I never found a solution for the problem of pressure most recent driver, everyone in another forum suggested to trash preferences photoshop and change in old driver... There, I did it in my computer, it works well, but recently, I want to do in my laptop and it lags behind.

    I'm using windows 7, 64 bit.

    RAM 8 GB,

E and C in car are more than 100 GB available.

    Photoshop version 11.0

turned off openGL (or on, no difference)

I tried to uninstall photoshop but no luck. I tried the update driver GeForce to the latest version, no luck too. (I use gtx 420 m)

I'm just curious to know if there is a way to solve the problem without having to download the patch for photoshop (because he was running perfectly so I don't think that it has nothing to do with photoshop patch?)

any idea? Please tell me if I forgot to mention something...

    Thank you

Once you are able to get hold of your laptop, please update Photoshop and see if the problem persists.

Let us know how it goes.

    Happy to help

  • Brush (cursor) gal doing Photoshop unrealistic option use?

    Hello forum,.

I make the transition between traditional media and use the computer to generate art.  I bought CS4 because my first machine had no 64-bit support.  One of the problems in the Photoshop app that had me to suspend any further study with her was the brush LAG nasty like I moved my mouse OR my pen (I have a Wacom Cintiq) while "painting".

I diligently search online to find answers, read the forum messages, still called support.  The best they could offer was clear data cache of application on my Windows XP machine.  I guess it helped a little, but it still turned enough lag.

Understand a little about the workings of computers, I know the power of the processor, memory and GPU power and system memory can make a big impact on improving.  So, I bought the Toshiba Qosmio with an i7 quad core processor, 4 GB of RAM fast and a big nVidia with 1 GB memory graphics card.  This new machine is Windows 7, so I was very happy I could use the version CS4 64 bit Photoshop!

Surely this machine would tear it up, right?  No, same question.  For example, if I take my pen (or mouse) and test the paint a line diagonally across the screen, I see anything from a fraction of a second delay of about 2 seconds of delay, after which the brush stroke "POPs" along the projected track, according to how fast I drag my brush and how long the path is.

So now, when I paint my brush strokes have to be short, slow down shots because the behavior of the application is demanding that it if I want to see my face right away.

Now, I'm not a digital artist, not yet, so I don't have a wait if this is expected behavior or not.  I can't imagine that it is, could it?  When I used GIMP for a few months, I don't remember seeing this kind of lag on the mouse cursor.

I want to stay in the world of Photoshop for my study of digital art; almost all my study documents make use of the tutorials and examples.  But I need to know what happens with this first.  Right?

Have you installed the 11.0.1 and 11.0.2 update?

Have you tried to disable OpenGL drawing?

  • Trolling after the marks left by the drawing tools.

After update to animate CC today, I noticed a problem which is severely moving down my workflow.

After every race I do (whether with the brush, brush or pencil tool), there is a second 1-4 break that occurs before the program completely ends to treat STROKE and the registrant on the canvas. This makes it very difficult to predict the consecutive brush strokes and also animate very slowly.

Similarly, the program seems to take its sweet time after I click on a box to fill with the paint bucket tool, especially when close gaps is turned on. The program takes anywhere between one and ten seconds to determine if the form can be filled in, then fills or not. During this long break, I can't do anything in the program and have no other choice but to wait and see what happens.

Someone has an idea of what I can do to fix the lag spikes?

I use Windows 10 and the latest version of Adobe animate CC.

    A few new features.

I found the cause of brush lag spikes. Make sure that when you use the Paintbrush tool to enable 'painting as a Fill. Make sure that the object drawing mode. This greatly improved the recording of brush speed.

However the fill tool still has considerable lag. Has anyone found a way to make work more quickly without having to turn off the narrow gaps?

  • [Please help!] Tool on Photoshop CS6 change does not not without scrolling canvas?

When you try to change the tools of Photoshop CS6 using a combination of keys, I need to scroll to register in order for the tool change.

    (that is:)

    > Press 'b' to switch to the brush, draw.

    > Try to press 'e' to switch to the eraser, nothing happens.

    > Have to scroll the canvas - press 'e', the tool change records now has scrolled beyond the canvas.

    > The process is repeated.

    )

I've recently upgraded from Photoshop CS5 to CS6 and can't seem to understand this issue. I have tried rebooting my computer, my preferences reset tool, reinstall photoshop and reinstall the driver of my Tablet: none of them seem to fix my problem. (For the record, I'm using a graphic tablet Wacom Intuos 5, but using my keyboard for input, not the express keys buttons).

    Any ideas?

As a digital artist, this issue greatly disturbs my workflow, so it's really frustrating.
