Fireworks CS 6 now 64 bit?

Hello

with Fireworks CS 5, I always become a memory problem. On the Adobe Web site, I found 6 Fireworks:

Improved performance

  • To solve the problem of insufficient memory , the use of fireworks GDI objects has been reduced.
  • Limit memory increased on computers Windows 64-bit for better stability when open and save files.

What does that mean? CS6 Fireworks is now a 64-bit software or will I still receive an error of memory?

Thanks for your hellp!

Greetings Torsten, Germany

It is still 32-bit. It was enhaced to make full use of the theoretical limit of address space 4GB memory for 32 bit apps on 64 bit system while it was limited to 2.5 GB or more, which would of course most of the time be even less. Tour the next time, it will become 64 bit as well, although most browsers are still 32-bit and so things like the WebKit engine, used for the preview also not necessarily provide the best 64-bit experience, web conversion apps to 64-bit may not be the most pressing issue...

Using PS Elements 7, I had RAW 4.3. All my files Canon XSi opened as 16-bit color in the RAW Editor. If in fact I went to elements itself, I could do little or nothing unless he converted to 8-bit.

I've updated to RAW 5.5 and now these files open 8 bit. I did something wrong or was this a change?

Check down in the center of the ACR window that the image is set to open in 16 bits? If the clickable text says 8 bit, click on it and specify 16 bits in the context menu in the dialog box that appears.

  • bug in fireworks CS4 at 24/32-bit with alpha transparent png export?

    Hello

I recently upgraded to CS4 from CS3 and am very disappointed that the ease of export png to 24 or 32 bit png is then useless on my installation of fireworks (Vista). I have a colleague who reported the same behanviour on his mac.

Please see this file png native fireworks CS4 and the attempt to export it as 24 or 34 bit png, ensuring the canvas is transparent (it shuold be already)...

    http://www.capitalh.NET/demo-bug.PNG

The visualization mode in CS3 would show the png with its alpha channel, indicated by the transparency checkerboard. Exporting as well would produce the desired result > a PNG with an alpha nice mix channel.

Viewing in preview in CS4 mode displays an horrible rendering of the image on a white background. Export the image gives the same result. Please see this link for confirmation:

    http://www.capitalh.NET/demo-bug-export.PNG

Please also see this simple image, this time using a simple ellipse shape:

    http://www.capitalh.NET/demo-bug-export-SimpleShape.PNG

You will notice that it is not transparent, and the ellipse has not been smoothed.

Anyone can shed light on this behavior?

Export of png as such is something I do every day at work, and is a fundamental requirement of an image editting application targeted to web site design.

I'm doing something wrong? I been using Fireworks since 2003 so I'm inclined to think that I'm not.

Transparency is only available when the file is exported as a PNG 8 or

PNG 32. The sample you have to downloaded has been optimized for the PNG-24 format. When

I changed optimization PNG 32, the file exported as planned.

The shape simple PNG file seems to be a solid image, not a vector

ellipse. In this case, the layout optimization of PNG 8

with index transparency has solved the problem.

  • Satellite P500 - migrate from Win7 32 bit to Win7 64 bit?

Help, please. My old operating system is Vista 64 bit and I changed it to 32-bit Windows 7. I would like to install now 64-bit Windows 7, but the system says that the CD that I put (Windows 7 64-bit) is not compatible with the current operating system.

How I change my OS? I can't change the boot settings. I have a Toshiba Satellite P500 series. Thank you. Hoping someone could help me.

Besides, even the original Vista 64 bit can t be installed because he says the same reason is not compatible. Thanks again.

I think you need to do a clean install.
Do you mean that you can't change the sequence of booting with F12 (?) to the power on?

  • Qosmio F50-114 - why 32 Bit OS came preinstalled

Toshiba cheated me or my dealer don't?

When I buy my Qosmio F50 - 114, the specification says it boasts a 64-bit support but the system now 32-Bit
Does that mean I can go to 64 bit or is it finished?

If so what I have to do?

    Thanks much for all support.

    Hey Buddy

Of course the Qosmio F50-114 supports Vista 64-bit.
    I think you're a bit confused

It was equipped with the Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor that supports the 64-bit feature and also the drivers 64 bit Toshiba Vita will be released in the near future.

This is why 64-bit is certainly supported. But that doesn't mean that this laptop or other portable which supports the 64 bit of Vista are preinstalled with this OS.

As much as I know about all the series the 32 bit OS has been pre-installed, but of course, you can install your own Vista 64 bit OS (not upgrade but new installation)!

  • Satellite A100-153: is my 64-bit processor?

It's maybe a stupid question, but I'm not good with knowledge when it comes to material...

I have the Satellite A100-153. It is the processor of Intel Centrino Duo T2300 1.66 GHz. So I want to know is my cpu 64 or 32-bit? Also, if it is 64 bits, what are the benefits of this type of CPU?

    Thank you!

No, the generation of your Centrino has no EMT64 (64-bit). The next generation whose production began in March of this year is now 64-bit.
The new CPU´s have a similar heart as the "Core 2 Duo".

Thus, the benefits of the 64-bit are apparent, you have a wider bus which can process more data at the same time. And the treatment of the data at the same time average speed of treatment.

But there is just one little problem: the driver support for 64-bit operating systems is not very good aren´t and there are a lot of programs for us end-users that are written in 64-bit. So we have to wait until software developers and manufacturers of chips are better than now.

  • 14-d003tx HP: HP 14-d003tx 32-bit Windows 8.1 no driver in the HP Web site?

I changed my OS to Windows 7 now 32 bit Windows 8.1.

I am convinced now that the HP support will have drivers for the model, because the laptop is meant originally for Windows 8.

But when I looked on the site: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-14-d000-Notebook-PC-series/6529958/model/6753958

It is showing only the drivers for 64-bit Windows 8.1!

It will still work if I used the 64 bit one while my OS is in fact a 32 bit one?

I need help guys, please enlighten me.

    Hello:

HP does not support this model for 32-bit operating systems.

I think that most of the 64-bit drivers listed work except graphics and audio.

You can see if these graphics and audio drivers are working.

If this isn't the case, you need to install a 64-bit operating system support.

First install the utility intel chipset installation and restart the PC.  The 2nd driver on the left side of the page is the automatic installation file.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/20775/Intel-chipset-device-software-INF-Update-utility-?product=1145

Then, install the Intel HD graphics driver and restart the PC.

This package contains the Intel video drivers and Control Panel audio driver display for the laptop models running a supported operating system.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp69501-70000/sp69998.exe

Then install the driver nvidia hd graphics and restart the PC.

Audio: Accept the agreement.  Download and install the driver from the 1st on the list.

Windows 8.1 does not for the HP touchsmart PC.

    Good bye

In fact the Touchsmart from HP computer you have is not supported for Windows 8.1. You have it backwards.

You may need to reinstall Windows 8 to regain use of the tactile function of your PC all in one.

  • BIT error 1290: 0x50a suite of updates

    Hello

    I'm looking for assistance.

I am running Microsoft XP Pro and have completed the critical updates, but now my BITS service does not start.

It produces the error [error 1290: 0x50a].

I ran the utility Microsoft Updates difficulty and it is still unable to boot.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello.

As such, it is as follows:

a recent update to WIndows XP SP 3 seems to have accidentally added 2 flags in the registry of Service BITS that are simply says entry, it invalid at this location on the XP Clients.

The first key is "DelayedAutoStart".  According to MS it of valid from Vista and newer only, so-> remove that from a WIndows XP machine because it does not work.

The second key (and especially our cause of error 1290 0x50a to BITS when it appears)
    is the flag "SIDVersionType".
On WIndows XP it is not valid for the BITS service also. -> Delete.

    After that, restart Windows XP.

  • How can I change my 32-bit system! ??? !!

    Hello

You can not 'accidentally' change a system from 32 bit to 64 bit

the transition from 32-bit to 64-bit or 64-bit to 32-bit should be done with a new facility with a full vista license/floppy that wipes the hard drive clean throughout the process

Click Start - right click on computer - left click Properties - it will tell you it what version of 'bit' of vista that you have installed

Canon provided now 64-bit drivers on their European website.

    You can get them here:

    http://software.Canon-Europe.com/software/0038040.ASP?model=

They say that he supports the following operating system

Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP

Seems to work quite well in Win7, but I noticed that I kept getting "out of paper" errors, what paper size was misconfigured, then maybe driver is still a little buggy.

  • I would like to know if there is any way I can remove the 32-bit and keep the 64-bit without harming my computer

I ran windows 7 installation on my computer using DVD who had 32 and 64-bit data and for that I currently have 32-bit and 64-bit installed in my computer. So I would like to know if there is any way I can remove the 32 bit and keep the 64 bits without harming my computer or stored data because now both bits is eating space on my C drive/partition!

    OT:

    Windows

Why do you think you have "32-bit and 64-bit" versions of Windows 7 installed?

If you installed the 64-bit version (which you will need if your computer has more than 4 GB of RAM and you want to use all of this RAM), you can see a few references to 32-bit architecture.  The 64 bit version of Windows needs these files in order to run software that is designed for 32-bit architecture.

Perhaps the most obvious instance is the presence of the following two directories:

C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x 86).  It is normal for both of these directories present in a 64-bit system.

    Hello
    x 64

64-bit (aka x 64) is a more "modern" architecture 32-bit is the standard PC up take-out and will work on anything out there now.64 bits requires a computer compatible 64-bit. However, only 64-bit can go over 4 megabytes of RAM,
    x 86
x 86 refers to a family of set of instructions [2] based on the Intel 8086 processor architectures. The 8086 was introduced in 1978 as a fully 16-bit 8-bit extension based Intel microprocessor 8080, with segmentation of the memory as a solution to address a memory around byte larger than 64 KB that can be covered by a 16-bit address. The term x 86 derived from the fact that the first successors to the 8086 also had names ending in '86', with successive numbers inserted between the '80' and '86' (e.g., 80286, 80386). Many additions and extensions have been added to the x 86 game over the years, almost always with backward compatibility full instructions.

I'm guessing that my graphics card may be the culprit. If so this can be improved?

Personally, I'm computer illiterate, so I ask you to keep the simple answers please if possible.

    Hello

Bad compared to the other forests.

As you said that your mac is 64-bit, which is actually the CPU of the machine a structure bit of the architecture of the operating system.

When you say that photoshop is 64 bits, which means that there is a 64-bit architecture, which will move into a single 64-bit machine it is what your MAC.

Now, when you say on the image mode which has nothing to do with the architecture of the operating system or photoshop, it's the bits/channel information.

And now photoshop can record up to a maximum of 32 bits/channel.

So you don't have to worry about this.

Your graphics card is not guilty.
