  I bought the card at the Micro Center store in offline mode.

  Does anyone know why first 14 elements does not install actually after I downloaded it and after running the install of adobe. I'm not on my desktop and it doesn't have prompted me to put in my serial number. I still have version 11 on my desk. Does it matter?

  They have never first activated. Activation happens when you actually launch programs, not during installation attempts failed. If you are still not sure, contact support. They can check if your serial number has been activated.

  just bought a 13 paper element, where is the redemption code? There are just a number of eight numbers on the cd cover and no code on the box as well, no thanks

  Normally for a purchase of paper 24 digits (not the redemption code) serial number will be located on the enclosure containing the disk.  Here is some other information that might be useful...

  What operating system is running your first items 12/12.1? Can we assume that this audio reads OK

  on the same computer when you use a computer independent of Premiere Elements drive?

  What are the properties of these clips that have worked before, but don't know regarding sound

  For now, I will assume that you are working on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

  Have you checked the settings change preferences/Menu/Audio ASIO hardware? You have all 3rd party audio devices integrated in your IT environment?

  Please delete the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file and, if it does not, then all 12.0 folder in which the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file exists. Is the path to 64-bit Windows 7, 8 or 8.1

  and in the 12.0 folder, is the file Adobe Premiere elements Prefs that you delete. If this does not work, then delete all 12.0 the folder in which the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file exists. Make sure that you work with the Option "Show hidden files, folders and drives" of the current folder so that you can see the full quoted path.

  You have the installation files or the installation disc with the serial number purchased in case we need to use to uninstall/reinstall?

  The download, it's what you do to get a file from a Web site to your computer... The installation is what you do to have the installation files, put a program on your computer and link it to your operating system

  What is the error message?

  You may need to right click on the program icon and select compatibility Windows XP in the popup of option

  Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions can help... said yet, but sometimes it is necessary for all Adobe programs (this is same as using an administrator account)

• How much ram can take advantage of first 14 elements?

  So I'm looking to upgrade my computer, for most working with 4 k video in first 14 elements (and also for 3d rendering).  I have a new dual processor MB and will get used two Xeon e5-2670 and used ddr3 ecc.  I can get 32 GB for $50, or "Follies" and download 64 GB to $100.  I don't mind spending the extra money on RAM if it will make things run a little more fluid or faster.

  The last big project that I worked on had about 250 gigabytes of media for a 2 hour video - she included several tracks of 4 k and 2 k video.  I think that Premiere Pro would benefit all RAM than available memory, but I do not know if the Premiere Elements has a cap of some sort and would benefit all that RAM.  Anyone know? 

  It's really the CPU more RAM or GPU which determines the video processing 4K first Elements. Fortunately, you have a processor good, hearty.

  I can't imagine that you will see any advantage a jump from 32 GB to 64 GB of RAM. Not with Premiere Elements in any case.
