First cc 2014 crash with the message "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find capable video game modules. Please update your video display drivers and start over. »

I've updated for Premiere Pro CC 2014, all other Adobe CC 2014 software works very well, but the first does not load again. The start page (frame) happens - my computer everything slows down and after a minute or two, it freezes completely and comes up with the message: "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find capable video game modules. Please update your video display drivers and start over. »

I use a macbook Pro 15 '' (2014) with 16 GB of RAM and 760 GB SSDS. "

Help, please!

Hi Brigitte,.

Go to the following location and rename the folder in the name of old_folder

User/user/library/Application Support and rename the Adobe folder

User/Library/Preferences and rename the Adobe folder

Then, go to the folder Documents and go to Adobe/Premiere pro/8.0 and rename the 8.0 folder

Make sure that you are in the library of the user if you are not sure to check out the link below.

Access the hidden user library files. Mac OS 10.7 and later versions

Kind regards

Vinay

  • Premiere Pro CC 2014 error 'first pro could not find capable video game modules.

Hello, I'm having a problem with Premiere Pro CC 2014. Whenever I try to open it, it displays an error saying that "Premiere pro can't find capable video game modules". In the start screen, when it starts to load, it stucks at loading "ImporterQuickTime.prm", and then displays the error. I tried to reinstall the program, update the drivers for my graphics card, delete the Temp files, rename folders called Adobe to OldAdobe, by installing the latest version of Quick Time, and a lot more that I don't remember. Surprisingly, first works in my old PC and when I say old, is OLD, it has only 1 GB of RAM, and it still works there. The PC in which that I am trying to open it, is much better, has 4 GB of RAM and runs almost all of the games and programs like CC Flash and Photoshop CC. Please help me someone, any solution will be really appreciated. Thank you and sorry for my English .

    Hi Jon0909,

The error that you received can be for several reasons. I suggest you try the following steps:

Method 1: Run the fixit available in the link below and check if that makes a difference

Tips for solving problems of USB devices

Method 2: This normal matter as a result of a conflict between the USB and other USB (Universal Serial Bus) connected to the computer.

    (a) disconnect all the external devices connected to the computer to expect the mouse and keyboard, check if your USB key works.

    (b) If this solves the problem, and then add back both devices until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.

If the problem persists, you can contact the manufacturer of the device for any known issues

  • "Adobe Premiere Pro CC cannot find Capable video game Modules"

When Adobe first Pro CC 2015 starts, it begins to pitch up then it suddenly gives me the error message followed by the closing of the program. Now what's curious about it, is that he has only started to do that today. I tried to do what he says and to update my video drivers which is my Nvidia GTX 750 Ti. After the update, I restarted my computer and the program once again at the start gave me the same message. So after that, I uninstall the program and reinstall just to see if that would also solve the problem, but once more it has never worked.

    My PC specs:

    • Intel Core i5-4460
    • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
    • 8 GB RAM
    • 10 64-Bit Windows

I have no idea what I can do and I really need to get back to editing as soon as possible. Can someone help me to solve this problem?

    Thank you

  • First Pro CC stalls on - ImporterQuickTime.prm - 'could not find capable video game modules.

First Pro CC stalls on "ImporterQuickTime.prm", and then it crashes with a message error "Premiere Pro could not find capable video game modules. Please update your video display drivers and start over. "I have tried the solutions on the page support and several I found on the internet. I tried completely uninstalling Quicktime as well and it recharged. It still crashes. I have my original CS6 on my computer as well and it does not crash. All great ideas?

    Thank you

    Robert

    Thanks again John for help,.

It turns out that the problem was (kinda sorta) display drivers. The index was the stall at ImporterQuickTime.prm followed by the error screen that refers to the inability to find a suitable driver. Many years ago I tested the JAWS software for I can have a better understanding of what vision hearing person with a disability during the analysis of a website accessible. I've never bothered to remove this software. When I checked my devices on Windows drivers, I discovered that I had a virtual mirror of Freedom Scientific (the creators of JAWS) driver. After you remove the software and driver, I was able to open the first Pro CC normally, even after repeated tests and restarting my computer. It worked perfectly every time.

Regarding my previous success (and shortly after failure), I'm still distraught as to why it worked, even temporarily.

It is a cause of the moat of the failure and the fix probably will not help everyone.

    Kind regards

  • Updated for first CC 2014 - now get boot error - could not find capable video game modules

I have a MacBook Pro with NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M 2048 MB retina end 2013.

Since the update of the first CC 2014 on the launch, I get this error just after it shows the loading of "ExporterQuickTimeHost.bundle" (I tried to delete it, but he always did, so I don't think that it has nothing to do with the QuickTime plugin):

    Adobe Premiere Pro startup error

Adobe Premiere Pro has not found all capable video game modules. Please update your video display drivers and start over.

I never had it in the CC version. I have the latest version of the CUDA driver: version 6.0.46 & Driver GPU: 310.40.35f08 version 8.26.21

The computer is unusable for about 4-5 minutes after it produces until it clears all the way to the top. This whole process takes up to 7-8 minutes!

This same thing happens also with Prelude CC 2014.

If anyone knows what's going on I would be very grateful.

    Thanks, Maz

I found a solution that worked for me. Seems to be a permissions issue. Here is the solution I found (found here: CC 2014 startup problems: Adobe Premiere Pro):

In the finder menu, click and hold down the menu REACH. That hold the option key and the library user will appear. Click on the user's library.

In this folder, go to preferences and find the adobe folder.

Right-click on the adobe folder and click get info.

In the permissions section, & sharing, there are three names.

Everyone should say read & write beside them.

Open the lock, turn all to read and write.

Then click on the little train directly under the names or to the left of the lock and the menu drop down click on 'apply to the included items.

    Then relock the lock.

Now, go to your OS hard drive and click on users, your user name, Documents.

    Find the adobe folder there.

    The lock, the lock again.

Wait a minute. Then launch first.

    This fixed it for me.

  • Mac OSX, error starting with 2014 CC (CC works): could not find capable video game modules

I'm getting this on two different machines, running different OSX versions with different graphics cards:

    Adobe Premiere Pro startup error

Adobe Premiere Pro has not found all capable video game modules. Please update your video display drivers and start over.

    My computers are:

    iMAC / OS X 10.9.5 / AMD Radeon HD 6970 M 2048 MB

    MacBook Pro / OS X 10.10 / AMD Radeon HD 6750 M 1024 MB

Was in a chat with an Adobe person technology and they were even remotely on my computer and changed on two Adobe folders and subfolders permissions and it still didn't work. Adobe first CC seems to work. But customers all use CC 2004

    Hi ufoclub,

    Try this:

    Go to the following locations:

1 location: In the Finder, click go > go to folder > ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

    Situation 2: Go > go to folder > ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe

    Location 3: Documents > Adobe

Everywhere, rename the folders 'Adobe' to 'OldAdobe '.

Launch the first, accept the license agreement and see if it works.

Note: You will lose your customized workspaces and keyboard shortcuts.

    Thank you

  • First CC/Nvidia card - could not find capable video game modules

I just bought a new laptop Toshiba Qosmio x 75 with a 770 M Intel HD 4600 Graphics and Nvidia graphics card.

    Data sheet:

    • 8.1 Windows x 64
    • Intel i7-4700MQ 2.4 GHz
    • 16 GB of Ram
    • 2 500 GB @ 7200 RPM SATA

I have CS5 and wanted to use first CC. downloaded PPCC compared to clouds and open a few books on CS5 a few time s. Had to add card for laptop for the best card CUDA faster to be recognized and everything was fine. a few reboots later I received an error "Unable to find capable video game modules" and were not able to open PPCC since. He stops on Vignette.aex.

Opening first CC was obviously using the map intel, I have tried to use the Nvidia card so I assigned the best 3GB memory card to the MCCP. I could open some time after.

    I tried:

    • CC PD uninstalled and installed several times.
    • Uninstalled and installed 770 M Nvidia driver several times. 770 M driver updated several times.
    • changed to 'use as administrator'
    • GeForce GTX 770Mcards adding"this should be done from AFX and other programs. It was recognized even in first so that I could always open the program (before the boot error)
    • tried to change the "compatibility" in previous versions of Windows (found some corrections on adobe threads)

    • "User profile-name" in "Documents/Adobe/PremierPro/Profile' compensation

I have read around forums Adobe, searched google and you tube, and it is a problem that is underway. I have not been able to find a definitive answer from adobe or anyone else.  Seems people are just throwing ideas out there and some work and some never get their determination of the question and give up. This does not help me solve the problem and I need a list of tasks that will help me to resolve this problem immediately, please.

I could never open the application by modifying settings or deleting and then reinstalling the software until I went back to a past point since before the issue of restoration. It works and has a few weeks. I think that the problem results from the Intel graphics card driver update. I have 2 graphics cards.

I wonder in this sense, since the restoration, but I don't do anything until I get this project. Too risky. Certainly a question that must be resolved with Adobe communicating CC equipped with part 3. John T Smith's right, I've seen several issued reported with two cards, but it's hard to say having so many problems with CPU chart.
