First CC to organize images by date and time

Hi guys, someone knows how to organize images and videos sorted by time and date after importation with first CC? In the project Panel, I tried to add "date of creation" in the display of the metadata, but is possibole not to organize. After adding "Date of creation" I click on the column header for "Date of creation" in the Panel project, but nothing happens.

Please any suggestions?

There was a bug with older versions of PP.  We could not sort by any of the Date fields.

This has been fixed, so remember that you run 2015.4.

  • Photos do not sort by time when the Date and time are adjusted

I'm the combination of images of my friends with those friends, using Mac Photo of OS X V10.11.4. Because the dates of our cameras vary, I used "Image, set Date and time" to change the dates of the imported pictures. When the dates and times are adjusted, the photos are sorted by date no time. Added photos changed the given date are sorted at the end, regardless of time stamp. The sort options in the pictures leave much to be desired.

Where are you seeing this? All the photos are sorted by date/time, the photo has been added to the library - Photos (years/collections/moments) are sorted by date/time pictures

You can select the photos of interest and create your own album of them and then sort but title ascending or descending or by date

  • Date and time do not appear on the video captured in first Elements 9.

Is it possible to get the timestamp to show up on the video captured from an older model mini Sony TRV18 camcorder DV?

I can see the stamp date and time during playback of the video from the camcorder, but no time stamp appears in the clip mode capture first, or on the captured AVI file.

I have the first Elements 9. If it is not possible in first 9, any suggestions for capture software where can I get the date stamp and time would be appreciated.

    TKS.

This isn't a feature or a Premiere Elements.

However, you will be able to your video using a program called DV Date stamps.

  • I would like the date and time is displayed on my images

I have a Cybershot DSC-S2100. I put the date and time on my camera, and I can see when I go through the photos on the camera. However, when I transfer the photos to the computer, the date and time does not appear on the images. I would like the date and time to be printed on the pictures. Can someone tell me please how to do? Thank you.

    Hi Cho,

The DSC-S2100 camera doesn't have a feature for superimposing dates on images. You can use the supplied Picture Motion Browser (PMB) or the software PlayMemories home (WPH) improved to print or save images to the computer with the date.

Insert the date in pictures using PMB:

    http://support.d-Imaging.Sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/PMB/feature/edit/attach_date.html

Insert the date in the images using TDC:

  • How to see the date and time on your images?

I use camcorder Sony HXR-NX5U to shoot my video which I then edit in Premiere Pro. How can I record the date and time based on actually recorded video? Is a function that I need to set up on the camera or these data incorporated into each HD clip and all I have to do is just to change some settings in Premier Pro, as well as the date and time appear magically on my video?

He is a third-party software which costs $80 to show the date and time. This is not an option.

Can I ask you why you do this?  It of a unique client work, a curiosity or are you in the business of generating media for legal needs?  Adobe has access to view the metadata of the files in the metadata panels, however, source time is not available in timecode effects and overlays customized (via the program monitor tools).  It will be manual labor, which is ok if it is the specific need.  However, if it is a constant for your business, you must consider the types of tools that apply best practices (as the camera that allows you to record recovery /) or by using a third party tool like the one I mentioned.  No free lunch.  This has been a feature of the long and often requested.

  • The batch change date and time

I have a lot of photos which, for some reason, have lost their correct dates and hours of creation, so I was eager to correct in an easy and enjoyable way.  I unfortunately discovered that Photos is not the batch option to change that used to be in iPhoto.

When you try to find a solution to my problem, I fell on this batch Change Date and time on a fixed Date, which works well, but not quite how I want it.  What I want to do, that's exactly what the script above does, but rather than increment by 1 minute of each photo, I want to increment by 1 second intervals by photo.

Having not really used AppleScript before, I tried to change the references to the 'minutes' to 'seconds' but that did not work.  Is it possible to do using above seconds instead of minutes?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Just delete the text "" * minutes ' in the lines where the date is changed. "

Then time will be incremented seconds.

For example, for the first version of the script use:

the value timeIncrement to 1 - increment of time in seconds

(* select at least 2 images in Photos *)

    say application 'Photos '.

    activate

    game imageSel for (get selection)

if ({ is } imageSel) or (the length of imageSel < 2) then

error "Please select at least two images."

    on the other

defined first_image to the point 1 of the imageSel

the value first_date to (the date of first_image) as date of

Repeat with I from 2 to the County of imageSel

put next_image to the point I of imageSel

the value next_date to (the date of next_image) as date of

    the value time_difference to (first_date - next_date) + ((i-1) * timeIncrement)

    say next_image

the value le Date of next_image to (next_date + time_difference) as date of

    end say

    end Repeat

    end if

return "Set the date and time of" & (the length of the imageSel) & 'photos. The last date is "& ((the date of next_image) as date)"

    end say

  • Setting date and time for several photos

Thank you for providing the space for new users and thank you in advance for your help.

Currently, I'm moving across lightroom and apple aperture/iphoto 5.

The part of OCD I like to have my library organized, and I noticed that when I transferred my library everywhere he is in a bit of a mess, so I'm currently putting together the library and it cleaning (around 18000 photos)

Anyway, I almost settled on a folder structure (YYYY/MM - I for the number of photos I have try on the nut until days could be for many - happy to receive Advisor on it also)

For the most part, the photos have the date and time of the beginning of the digital age (for me from 2006)

Photos prior to 2006 are in the negative, and I am currently underway with these scanned and imported into the library, I have a lot each month.  Set the date and time from the date of creation, this is where I am running into trouble.

I looked around the web and various forums without success.

First of all, I organize the pictures in the correct order.  Then I select the first photo and then select it the remaining photos.  I then select the date/time setting in the menu and select the first option, ajuster to adjust to the new date and time, say on 01/01/1990 to 1200 hours.

The result I get is the first photo (the photo so good term) 01/01/1990 @ 1200 as the date and time, others have 01/01/1990 Date (if I'm lucky), and the time of jumping around.  Sometimes it wont even change the date time for the remaining photos.

What I want to achieve is the time even for all the photos when I select a lot, or increment in time by a lump (is to say 1 minute (1200/1201/1202) or 1 second (1200:00 / 1200:01 / 1200:02)) and I seem not to be able to work it to do this automatically, currently, I have to do this by adjusting each photo (some 200 at a time) which is really manual labor)) intensive

Thanks in advance and hoping an easy solution

I have had success using EXIF change of Basepath.com, but is not

free. There are other publishers had EXIF free that may be useful to

you. Some are better than others, and all have a learning curve. I suggest

make a copy of some files you want to change and make a test of some of

the available candidates. Search for "EXIF editors" and you can see what is

    available.

  • International date and time

Last week, I was in the United States and took a lot of pictures.  Now that I'm back in Australia, Photos has automatically adjusted the time and date of the pictures to what was the time in Australia, not the time it was when I took the pictures.  It's incredibly annoying.  Does anyone know how to fix this please? Thank you very much.

Hello! I had the same problem. I took photos in Asia, some on them without location data. I imported on my Mac at home in France. And then, something went wrong with the date and time. As I've learned here for photos without location data, Photos uses the time zone of the place where you perform the import. If had imported the photos in the same zone where I took them, everything would have been fine.

The solution was to select all the photos and then manually set their time zone in Malaysia where I took them. You can do this with "setting date and time" to the 'Image' (or 'Photos' menu, or however, it is called in English).

  • Do the photo album, date and time taken?

Just downloaded all my iPhotos to Photos from the old to the new iMac. All the old photos transferred with the intact title (date and time). How to activate this in Photos? Added some new pictures for the first time to Photos and may not know how to make the title the date and time the photo was taken (without manually typing in the date and time).

That s not a feature of Photos

  • The date and time does not work.

    I have an iphone 5 c.

The date and time does not work. This is the second time.  The first time was about 3 to 4 months again and now again after upgrade to iOs9.3.1.

Even after trying to change it manually, time slows down or stops.

Everyone has problems with their date and time?

    • Try a forced reboot: hold down the House and on the buttons until the unit turns off. Ignore the cursor off if it appears. Once completed, if it does not start on it own, turn off power with the key On. In some cases, it also contributes to double click the Home button and close all applications before restarting.

  • Satellite M100-JG2 HotKey and date and time problem

    Hi all

I'm not very good with computers, and I've had some problems for a while now. My laptop is almost three years, I don't know why I'm writing this after so long but anyway. I think they are called "keys" or "launchkeys", hopeyfully, you know what I mean, but anyway they do no more work. They worked for a while, but they do not work now. I went into the control panel and went into the 'Toshiba' orders and tried to change what does each control, but it still does not work. No one knows how to fix?

Also, another problem that I had since I first laptop is my date and time are screwed up. If I put my 15:30 time, it works perfectly, until around 16:15, that when he goes back to 15:30 and go all the way up to 16:15 and continues in this cycle until I manually change the time. I had a few friends (no professional) to look at, but can not understand. When I start my laptop I go to settings in the start screen, try to change it was from there, but it keeps going during the cycle. If I click on the time and click on the tab "internet time" and say "update now", it updates, and then only time will work normally, but only until I turn off my laptop. Once I turn it on then next turn, it passes through this new cycle of 45 minutes. If anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix?

I'm not very good at explaining, but I hope you guys can help! I appreciate it really :) Show!

I think that you have changed the date and time in the BIOS. Is this good?
If not, change it and don t forget to save the changes.

In Control Panel--> Date and time--> time tab Internet, please uncheck the auto sync with the internet time server.
In the other, called tab time zone please choose the right time zone and activate the tick to the option called automatically adjust the clock for an advance of changes
