first sentence read-only, but allow to add comments in a text element
Hello all;APEX4, DB is 10G
In a form, there is an element named comments with VARCHAR2 (255).
When the form is displayed, this field of comments always has the default value of the first sentence to «past position & item1.» to & item2. "I can get out this sentence by default with the value overrides but need help on the following points:
Sometiems users will need to enter more comments right after this sentence by default. How can I make this sentence by default in gray and read-only but at the same time allow them to add comments just after when they need to? Is this possible?

Please provide the point exact Acrobat & OS version installed on your system. This is the file is saved to the network drive or local. If his backup to disk network suggest you save to local disk.
If its windows, please disable the preview pane feature.

Uncheck the box enable improved security.

Hallo,
I'd like to go to the page that contains an af:table of 2 different menus: "Edit/insert data" and "read data".
Is it possible to make a page that is read-only when the user accesses by "Read data" and that allows for changes when you access it through 'edit/insert data?
Or do I have to create 2 different pages?

If the menu is outside the region, you must pass a parameter in the area and read this parameter passed within the region. You cannot directly access the bean of expanded view of inside the workflow.

That uses a router within a workflow to decide which page to display based on the parameter. Using this solution you can easily implement your use case using two different pages to show the table, a read-only, and the other to change.

How to have a createinsert operation and display a read-only table
Hello
I am a newbie to the ADF. I wonder how to do that? -I want a form where the user can see certain values of data read-only in a table but be able to add new lines and commit / save.
I used an editable table, an entity based view object object and operation of createinsert. If I leave the editable table as-is (all cells are editable) add new using createinsert line works well. But if I change the cell in design view read-only, even the new line added is created in read-only, so essentially the user cannot enter any values in there.
How can I separate the property read-only so that the table looks like read-only, but they can add new lines?

the way forward on this issue is to show a table reading and when the user clicks a command to create a new line, open a pop-up dialog box with an entry form to create the new row. After that. refresh the tabel to show change

Not just make a folder read-only, but making it so that nobody can make a change and feel that changes without saving it in a word sound, completely making it read-only. The contents of folder and that's it.
Thanks for the comments, but my supervisor said they want the files to remain in the format they have. There is also an entire folder not only a couple of files. He wants everything to protect without changing the way the documents are now. Any thoughts?

Make read-only conditionally temporarily or permanently?
In the first case, use a textarea element with the readonly attribute of the element instead of the built-in read-only properties. Set the HTML attributes of the element form item to the text box to:
readonly="readonly"
If it must be made conditional or temporary, explain the requirement in detail.

Cannot change the expression - read-only
I have a problem as some of the steps in my sequence of the expression has become read-only. This has happened on and off the power for awhile on several machines, the job is to create a new step copy the expression and remove the old stage. I did once see a message something is set to 'read only', but I couldn't find where to disable it.
I can always change to another part of the stage, in the properties-> Expressions pre and status windows are white and I can change them, the expression post window is gray and cannot be changed. The expression tab is the same, gray and read-only.
TestStand 2012, that step is now a function f (x), don't know if it's always the case.
I searched here and find only very old posts that sugest that the problem is solved in 2012.
TS is considered to be a well hidden. You can view the properties hidden in the Preferences of the Station Options tab.
Looks like your sequence files are INI format, then you might be able to fix it in a text editor. Open the movie file in a text editor and locate the steps in question. They are listed in order of their index position (e.g. "[SF. SEQ [0]. Hand [2]. TS]"), or you can use their stage names or IDs to find. In the steps that you want to modify, delete the line ' % FLG: PostExpr = 1 "to reset the indicators of the property to 0.
You can try to generate checksums before and after copying the file in sequence to check if the file is actually change. You can also try saving the file in the sequence in binary format or XML instead of INI.

How can I change from read-only smart media card?
Card must be reformatted but says that it cannot format because it is read-only.
The instructions say that I cannot change the read-only but doesn't mean me how.

I suggest you try the methods mentioned below and check if it helps:
Management of disk access by
By clicking Start (orb)> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> computer management>disk management. Disk management should list drives/cards connected to the system and also to show what type of file system they are and whether they are healthy or not. I would just reformat the card, do not change the type (example: FAT, FAT32, or NTFS) file format for doing so, your camera or device may not recognize.

Note: It is possible that change a read-only file can cause a program that relies on the file to stop working properly, so be sure that it's okay to change a read-only file before you proceed.
Cannot change files read-only, but they can be copied, moved, renamed, or deleted. Therefore, try to Rename the file or perform one of these operations and check if that helps.

Adobe InDesign 7.5.3 operating on mixture of Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Lion 10.7 Macs.
We are experiencing a problem whereby a designer has an InDesign document open from our server files and then another designers opens the same document and is no longer gets a visible prompt that the document is already open., read etc only.
The views of document just along the top that is read-only, but there is no real prompts when the document is opened.
We used to get the command prompt, but is no longer happens? Is this a normal behavior? Reading single box/window of dialogue were removed?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In the general Panel of the application preferences there is a button for this. On Mac, you can find the preferences in InDesign, Windows menu, they are under Edit.
