  It is difficult to solve the problems of the computer without knowing all the details. You should look at the link I sent you and especially to Firefox is slow - how to make it faster. I don't know any known issue as you describe, it's probably a very good bet for a response.

  The result is that Adobe does not provide any software to defeat the security of a PDF file. If the creator of the PDF file set to this level of security, intentionally or not, that's what it is! The solution to your problem is to go to the creator of the document and ask the password or an unprotected PDF file version.

  I'm trying to create a Webcenter portal with the help of a tutorial application. This requires to upload files to the content server and use these files to build the app and connect the navigation for menus and submenus.

  I checked in the files manually in Webcenter content but when you search for content information, fields of metadata like Tags, ID of Page, Web sites etc. are not displayed.

  These fields are required related to the query of the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) used in the application.

  The tutorial link do referring to is: connection to and management of content repositories - 11 g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.0)

  Content Management system version of the server is: 11 GR 1 material - 11.1.1.7.0

  Please let me know if I'm missing something.

  Tags/Page ID will come from the WebCenterConfigure component. Make sure you have the active component and you have not all profiles that hides these metadata.

  Can anyone help?

  I like how the content reacts when scrolling. I can make a frame with scroll base but cannot find out how other managers to react. I was wondering if it was at edge or HTML, but then how they make specific clickable pages with the magazine? I'm sure theres a simple, yet clever tip in overlays that can be used.

  This isn't a DPS application. Looks like they use some kind of Objective-C for that. I searched on their application with PhoneDisk, and I don't see any html file in the content page.

  This is not to say that you can not do this via HTML - certainly, you should be able to.

  Personally, though, I think it's sloppy. Why other sections should scroll when I try to scroll in one?

  For new pages tabs have looked at more sites but are now empty.  How can I get that back to the sites?

  You can not.  It's a feature of google and he has been removed from Internet Explorer for some reason any.  If you want bad enough functionality, it is always available if you switch to Firefox.  In Internet Explorer, you can change a blank page to a page of tabs in Tools / Internet Options / Tabbings / settings / and select from the drop-down list which of the three options to your tabs to show the opening.  That's all that is now available.

• Table of Contents Page size woes...

  Using InDesign (CS4) generator of OCD, it generates the table of contents with the page numbers appropriate for the sections of the book, but the size of the page seems to be wrong. I use the format letter 1/2 for the page, but the table of contents generated seems to have been formatted to a page of the complete letter... it looks like this...

  If the pipe symbols below represent page limits, points that precede the page numbers "wrap" to the next line... I know it is formatted on the page for a full letter size, because when I print, everything is lined up perfectly on a sheet of paper 8-1/2 "x 11":

  There, anyone have an idea why it is doing this?... I created the page table of contents of the document with a 1/2-letter size, but the TOC generator doesn't seem to be aware of this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  It seems that you must adjust tab settings in the paragraph style that is applied to the entries in the table of contents. Make sure that what one tab aligned to the right is fixed at the end of the text block. If a tab extends beyond the edge of the text frame, the text to "wrap" on a new line. It is sometimes useful to delete all tabs and then start over if multiple and tabs have been set.

• Cannot change the table of Contents Page icons in RH10

  I adapted successfully table of Contents Page icons in the previous versions, but in RH10, option seems to be missing. After past the method as well as help boards & Forums, I have pod TOC page right-click, choose Properties, Advanced tab, but once there all I see are the image and comment options. There is no option to change the icon of the automobile to a different style in a drop-down list (because I expected to see under Advanced). My OS is Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. Either by the way, I used this feature in the past to indicate a subject that has new features or topics of a different nature.

  If it is not configured for Microsoft HTML Help, find this layout and right click. Then propose that it be the main provision. Once you do this, I'd be willing to bet a dollar against a doughnut that you will now see the option to change the icons.

  I'm working on a DPS project that includes smooth scrolling pages. On each of these pages, I would like to have a fixed header that is always visible when I scroll down for content. I choose smooth drop-down page because there are many different types of content (videos, Gallery and other MOS).

  No not with a scrolling the page. You can use a scroll frame but do significant testing to ensure that everything works correctly.

  CLAF is really supposed to be used for all pages give a look completely new.

  If you are only interested in an article on one page then I suggest using customization or a combination of customization and editing of the /OA_HTML/cabo/styles/custom.xss

  I guess you try to change a ContentContainer (one of the boxes that appear on the right side of the page). There are actually 4 different ContentContainers - Dark, Light, Medium, Transparent. They all have their own background color controlled by the stylesheet.

  If you want to change one of them on a particular page, then the following should work in all cases.

  (1) first of all find an element that is a "parent" of the ContentContainer on your page. Normally, the element of the homepage is the best bet.
  Customize Page > customize the item "Page Layout: XXX".

  Update of the "CSS class" property to the level of the site of "MyNewContentContainerStyle".

  Save

  (2) open /OA_HTML/cabo/styles/custom.xss and add the following code:

  I added 4 points that I don't know what content container that you want to update. You can add all of the properties, but simply put, this should change the background color to black.

  (3) clear your temporary internet files from your browser and re-writing a new stylesheet.

• Hey guys, just a quick question on the creation of an automatic extension of content page

  Hey guys, I was wondering, how are you going about creating a background page that self develops as new content is added?

  I have attatched an example to illustrate what I mean:

  I just want to know how you create that. A self expanding the page content area.

  The owner has also added is a footer which moves upwards or downwards according to the page, how long or short, but somehow "mixtures" in the content area making it appear seamless.

  I don't know how the general HTML and CSS, but I'm still learning.

  Also, I was wondering how you can create consistent page styles (i.e. the buttons at the top of each page remain the same, but when 'active' or ' restored on "they change color (I dunno how to make buttons in Dreamweaver).)

  You might want to Google "server side include" to get a more complete answer, but an inclusion side Server (ISS) occurs when you have two files:

  1. a parent file

  2. a file fragment

  The parent file contains a reference to the include file which is picked up by the server, where it is about to load the file parent in the applicant browser.  It would include the content of the fragment file in the file parent in order to replace the expression we. -The parent file is a valid HTML page and complete, and the include file is just a fragment of code that is not valid as a stand-alone page.  In this case, the total of the two files is what is served in the complete applicant as a single HTML file browser.  You can do SSI with ordinary HTML guidelines, or with all popular server scripting languages.  In HTML, a parent file might look like this-

  I think that HTML/CSS/jQuery you would get a long way on the road with simple Web sites.  More is certainly a good goal, however.  I would say that Wordpress is certainly easier than Joomla or Drupal.

  W3schools will not teach you much about the design, and it's going to work just with the theory.

• Fix for buttons/icons not rendered? Victory 8.1, Firefox 40

  Hello Fellow FF users! For the past few weeks I tried to correct certain defects, I had with my mouse and keyboard. They are now fixed and works very well, I made about 1 000 different things, including changing the settings during this process. So about 2 weeks ago, the buttons on the pages stopped rendering. Which means that, if there is no button to click, as record, or a star rating or really buttons, which now seems in their place is a small rectangular box with small letters in it (absurd) and when you click it, nothing happens. Most embarrassing! I included icons in my search because they may be related somehow, although most of them make very well.

  Sorry you guys, but this bug is driving me crazy and I couldn't find a solution anywhere online in FF or settings, etc. I'm so angry at myself for not being able to fix myself! I bet it's something silly that can easily be solved. Hope so.

And Yes, while messing around with settings and things that the past few weeks, I had, in fact, put my own fonts for web pages and the box was checked. I'm so happy to have this problem!   I need to frequently change the web pages between 'No. Style' and 'Basic Page Style'.

  In firefox 28, it's simple, View-> Page Style-> No Style.

  But in firefox 30, because I hide the menu bar to save more vertical space, it's quite boring, I need to click on 'menu open', then 'Customize', 'menu bar', 'view', 'page style' and 'no style '.

  So, is it possible to put these two options in a single button next to the address bar?
