FixIt MS 50469

I tried to use the Network Wizard wireless via the control panel. He said that the software may not work and it stopped me in my tracks. I read the article 871122 he advised. I read and then went down to FixIt and during the installation that he stopped, to say one files failed to install as expected. So now I don't know if all this installed or not. And I don't have a reason for the problem installation. It says to click to get help, but after several hoops, that drew me here instead of giving me an instant help.

I don't know if I have to close all such things or not - I sat it here because I need to know the next step!

Hello DerSchuhmacher,

1. What is the exact error message you get when you try to connect to the wireless network?

2. don't you upgrade to service pack 3 before having this problem?

3 - is the first time you try to connect to the wireless network?

The Fixit is to reconfigure the Wireless Configuration service. You can do it manually even if the fix does not work. However, to troubleshoot your wireless network, we need to know what is the error you get when you try to connect to the wireless network.

You can follow the steps in the article to reset the wireless configuration service manually. Use the steps listed under Let fix me it myself:

Please let us know the errors to respond better. In the meantime, you can take a look at the article that talks about how do to resolve wireless network connections in Windows XP Service Pack 2:
