  Hi all

  I merged around 15 patches. Everything by applying this patch merged using the options adpatch = /hotpatch it works auto config at the end of the application of patches. So, I just want to know patch causing to run the automatic configuration. How to find out.

  In this case, it would be easier to run adpatch with "options = noautoconfig" - AD Options from command line for the version R12 (Doc ID 1078973.1)

  However, AutoConfig would still be necessary to explicitly run after applying patch since it is included in one (or more) of the (s) patch.

  Looking for best practices advice here. I need to install a patch that has prior tasks and specified necessary studies. One of the post-requis patch is already installed. What is the general direction here, re - install the patch post required after installing the required components and the patch itself?

  I have install 22222, down from the version of the file 12.0.1111.1 aaaaa<>

  This file will not be overwritten as you already have the new version of the file that is installed on your system. adpatch compares the version of the fix and will replace it if a newer version is included in the hotfix only.

  We implement iSupport referring to Note: 287176.1-(Configuration of the DMZ with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i) and I want to know if I need to apply patch 3942483 -AUTOCONFIG SUPPORT FOR REVERSE PROXY, firewall DMZ CONFIGURATION AND URL (PHASE 1)?
  
  AD_BUGS shows 5478710,4709948 are applied.
  
  It does not not clearly note if this fix is needed or not (287176.1)

  If you are already on 11.5.10.2 AND you (Patch 4709948 - T2K (FND) AUTOCONFIG MODEL CUMULATIVE PATCH M (APRIL 2006)) or later applied, then this patch is not required.

  Yes, applying the Patch 21984589 will improve your environment to 13 PSU i.e 10.3.6.0.13.

  Run the weblogic.version java command to check the version of power supply updated in your environment after you apply the hotfix.

  If I bring down app2 services maintenance.app1 concurrent processes are also down.

  You can always start services using adcmctl.sh.

  If you change these two values

  s_isConc 'Yes' 'no '.
  s_concstatus of 'active' to 'disabled '.

  then your concurrent Manager won't start on the node where you have changed the settings of two above.

  I just downloaded Patch 3944888 : Integration of the EBS - OFO patch for PLM Family Pack 11.5.10 e. Unfortunately after unzip the file and read the readme file, I can't find the installation guide or the instructions to install the patch. Does anyone know how to install this fix on EBS?

  Assuming that you meet or exceed all the pre-reqs, use adpatch to apply the patch as usual and provided with the pilot of 'u' file name when you are prompted.

• Double authentication with Oracle EBS at the APEX problem

  I am currently working on a project to integrate with Oracle EBS 12.1.3 4.2.4 APEX. We have completed the recommended white paper Oracle configuration.  I joined at the request of the APEX of a responsibility of BSE, when I click on the page of the APEX of the EBS, it navigates me to the login page of the APEX, and after I entered my credentials is to show the "No data found" error on the page.   Can someone point out to me a document that gives the steps to out place upgrade database ebs 12.1.3 11.1.0 to 11.2.0.3? I tried it myself and it went well but I still don't know if something is still missing because there are still 346 invalid objects in the comic book. Here are the steps I followed:

  On the source:

  Start adpreclone

  2 run utlu112i.sql (copy it from the 11.2.0). House)

  Follow the recommendations of utlu112i.sql.

  Back up the db of the source and the apps folder

  Copy the backup on the target server.

  6 copy the pfile.

  7.

  On target:

  install the 11.2.0.3 software

  apply the required patches

  Restore and recover the database.

  catupgrd.sql run

  Start catuppst.sql;

  Start utlrp.sql;

               run d bupgdiag. SQL

  run adconfig.sh contextfile = < contextfile > level db.

  Stop listener and database and restart to load the new approx.

  restored apps folder (backup of the source)

               run adcfgclone.pl appsTier

  run autoconfig.

  Have BTW, regarding your invalid objects you tried recompiling of the objects by using:

  1 adadmin > schema compilation apps

  2. connected in sysdba > run @$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql

• Oracle E-Business Suite patches pre-installation on top of R12.1.1

  We try to identify the patches that are required to be applied on top of R12.1.1 before calling the u6678700.drv. We came across the note, Oracle E-Business Suite Patches Report [Video] [ID 1448102.1] pre-installation. We installed the report and according to the note and the report, we have 'Failed to upgrade Script - EBS' 98 patches and 'Problem of Performance - EBS' 33 patches. We would like to know if its required to apply all of these 33 98 + patches and if yes is there a better way to get a merged fix?
  
  We need to apply fixes for products under a particular family combination if they are not allowed? IE say under Finacials, produced ZX, XLE are not allowed, so can I ignore patches preinstallation for these products?

  I have almost 2 + exp in Oracle Apps. I have no knowledge on how EBS is patched as they call it with number tell in CRP1 CRP2, CRP3, CRP4 etc... At the junior level, that I get no chance participate or engage in activities of critical update.   Is there an ability to clone a system EBS without copying the db files but a .dmp from a source database file import...? {I don't think, personally, I don't ask to confirm because someone told me}. I only know the methods described in the Metalink Notes: 398619.1 and 230672.1.

  Quick clone is the tool better and supported for cloning of Oracle Applications 11i/R12. OAM can also be used, but personally, I prefer quick Clone.

  Export/import should be useful in moving the existing data in Oracle format to and from Oracle databases (for example, export files can archive the data from the database, or move data between Oracle different databases running on the same or different operating systems). Import/Export is not sufficient to clone an Oracle Apps instance; You should always use fast with Exim Clone, if you want to take a dump file instead of copying the files for databases/applications (i.e. run preclone source application/database, import/export, run postclone on the target database/application). In addition, import/export is tedious process and requires patches to be applied before exporting the data.
