  I'm dissatisfied with the performance of the card wifi Ralink which came with this laptop and would like to upgrade. I have not been able to find a list of cards that are compatible anywhere and prefer not to waste money on a trial and error approach. Someone has access to a white list for this laptop model that they could post here? Alternatively the upgrade of the wifi card success stories could also be useful.

  See page 27. However, the new HP TS 15 etc. should not have the white list. I would like to try one of the Qualcomm or Broadcom 2 x 2 or cards wireless AC.

  I understand that your HP ENVY 23se-d394 TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC loses the WiFi connection since the update to Windows 8.1. I would like to examine and use the HP support document: troubleshooting wireless network and Internet (Windows 8), to identify and resolve your WiFi connection problem.

  If the document that I provided above does not only resolve your problem, please follow the steps, I listed below:

  Step 1. The type of tile Menu "device manager."

  Step 1. Click on Device Manager
  Step 2. Click on network adapters
  Step 3. Right click on the WiFi adapter for the pc and left click on properties
  Step 4. Click on power up
  Step 5. Remove the check mark beside: ALLOW the COMPUTER TO TURN THIS DEVICE SAVE START STOP
  Step 6. Click OK
  Step 7. Close the Device Manager

  NOTE: There may also be checked under the CONTROLLER FAMILY (for example. Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller which would belong to the title of the WiFi card). If so, you can remove the check mark next to ALLOW the COMPUTER TO TURN this DEVICE FOR SAVE OFF

  I have a HP Envy 17 Quad Touchsmart t (item # E2E11AV...)   Product # E114AV... Series # 5CG41002SP)

  It has a cracked screen and lost its ability to "touch", but all other functions are intact.

  I rarely used the "tactile" function, but the crack is an embarrassment and a distraction and if I could fix the crack at a reasonable cost, so I would.

  I have been looking for replacement of the LED screen and appears in the best of my ability.

  The HP "Partsurfer' site lists 2 screens: the manufacturer and the manufacturer 720257-001(BV-HD) 720256-001(AG-FHD)

  My problem: without disassembling the laptop how can I know what screen to buy?

  Please, all advice, help or idea would be appreciated...

  My HP Envy laptop m6 cannot connect to our wifi connection and connects only using the ethernet cable connection.

  He was always very well when I downloaded windows 8.1 but displays limited connectivity suddenly / no.. I tried everything that I can including reset tcp ip settings via the command prompt, find other drivers until someone suggested me to put my laptop back to windows 8. Still does not solve the problem. Now, my computer laptop is wifi access or detect any wireless so our wifi at home, or other.

  Please do help me. I really need to solve this problem. I am a student and I need bad wifi connection since it is the only available connection in our school. I am not knowledgeable on this subject, and it would be really great if someone could help me.

  The mSATA cache could be used as a startup disk (mSATA 256Go is confirmed by users as being compatible) and the main hard drive as a data storage in the hard drive Bay.

  As I prefer a boot mSATA with 12 GB of RAM disk, I'd choose the 12 GB without cache option. If the 1 TB harddrive is a hybrid, there are some already built-in SSD cache this cache is not necessary anyway.

  Would you like to share why you must do a clean install?

  You can try the recovery of the internet (which will work if your older model has been updated to enable of): hold command + Option + R until you see a progress bar (take a while). It will connect you to the Apple servers. When you see the utility window, choose disk utility to erase your disk and when you're done, choose to reinstall OS X.

  PS: Correction: I think not yours can be updated; in this case, you will need the original installation disks to wipe the drive and reinstall.

  So I'm not a beginner in the world of smartphones, and today, I have a problem with my Z3C which affects me because I bought not long ago. Wifi, for most every stop just 10-20 minutes to work. It shows the Upload activity, but no download activity. That drive crazy me I have a connection internet 50mbps that works perfectly with a Moto X, an Alcatel Idol 2 Mini S, a pletora laptop computers and smart devices and a HP VoiceTab 6.

  All the speedtests show me on 40/48mbps download speed, only the Z3C download speed reach 30/40mbps then radically goes to 2/5mbps til it falls to 0.

  Now, I have tried everything, reset, reset, safe mode, different routers (I have 2 home and tried in different restaurants and offices), different sims, no sims at all... it just doesn't. So what I did is to use only the LTE is sure, fast and problemsless, BUT why should I make happy my carrier when I use the WIFI from home and Office? Sony will pay my package?

  Had to replace a dead hard drive and installed a new one with Windows 7 on my niece envy Touchsmart M6-k022dx. Can anyone recommend Windows 7 drivers for this model of work.   Yes to the M7, but I do not know what want Dv7. Usually any Intel based want Dv7-7000 series should support any Intel wireless card. It looks like Intel 1 x 1 3160. I suggest to get 7260AC from Intel instead...
