• Need recommendation on the first drawing tablet (PC)

  I'm a web developer (I especially do the "plumbing" - PHP, SQL, CSS) and to work with the art has already received. I do various tasks in Illustrator and PS, such as the color correction or convert a photo to a logo art line, but until now, never done a lot of work "hands free". I think it is time to get a drawing tablet... as I read good things about the less expensive units such as Wacom Bamboo (finally). (I don't want to spend a ton of money on this, until I'm sure it's something I'll use productively-, who knows, I may - hate - the concept?) Or I can wonder WTF I've waited all these years for.)

  To be clear, I don't need as a 'replacement of the mouse '. My primary need is to learn how to draw free hand online art - I mention this because a lot of video products seems to insist on the 'iPad' - for example the functions more than the real "drawing."

  A few questions:

  1. are there other brands/models (under $ 200) I should look seriously?

  2 I was more focused on the largest bamboo... simply because all the artists I've ever seen work use big $1000 ones. But I've seen a number of articles where users/reviewers speak to being quite happy with the smallest unit for real drawing. I wonder if it is true that one is an experienced user... Is IOW easier for a noob to 'learn' draw on a larger Tablet?

  PS: I use a machine on XP CS4 and CS5 another - Win7. If all goes well, we can consider the drivers and everything is sorted for all these combinations, right?

  Well, I didn't say 'poor' pressure sensativity. Just less sesnativity to pressure. The Intuos as 2048 levels of pressure and 5080 lines per inch. The Bamboo Fun has 1024 levels of pressure and 2540 lines per inch. What that means is how minute on screen change can be. With an intuous you get twice the pressure levels, so you can paint/draw with greater precision.

  Of course, beginner, you'll never notice this difference and will be very well with bamboo. This isn't something you have to be really worried or concerned. But you can find after using bamboo for a while you want a greater degree of control, which may be the time to consider a different model tablet.

  You will have no problem to do what you want with a bamboo.

  I use CS4 for awhile now (to most of my free time) and have gotten quite into drawing cartoon versions of friends, family, etc. I work just from photographs in the past and have generally used Illustrator to achieve this.

  2. does anyone have advice for this style of drawing?

  Illustrator by far. You have much more control over your drawing in a vector program. Changes are easier. You can still import the PS more later to add effects. All digital illustrators I never contracted with that worked in artificial intelligence without exception. The main file is always vector they can bring an image in PS for some added effects. But the top of the line illustrators can do incredible effects in artificial intelligence without ever entering Psalm

• Flash 8 very slow on Vista

  I just installed Windows Vista and Flash 8 Professional. Flash works so slow with Vista especially when when you create a clip then double click on it to go to like 7 - 10seconds to enter the clip inside. It's weird. I know this isn't my Machine because I have a fairly decent PC and I have no problem with XP.
  
  Is there an update for Flash and Vista?
  
  Here some quick Specs:
  AMD 64 X 2 (dual core) 4800 +.
  Corsair 2 GB RAM
  1 TB hard drive (4 x 250 GB)
  2 x nVidia 7900GT in SLi mode
  
  So, what gives? Anyone else having this problem?

  I had this same problem. Fortunately, there is an easy solution.

  Find the flash.exe file in the macromedia/flash program directory. Right-click and select Properties. Go to compatibility and choose Windows XP Service Pack 2 in compatibility mode. Run the .exe file. It must switch your display settings Windows basic while in the program, but should be fixed zoom offset.

I immediately installed and activated Security Essentials and I do very little about internet and only go to Facebook, this site, my Bank, Tech Republic, and a radio station. But I wanted this new question here because it seems like a slightly different problem, but it might be somewhat related.

  How can I ensure that the material in this tablet is working properly and know what are the causes that it stops and starts too slowly? Even though my tablet now seems to work better as I remember even back to when he was 5 or 6 nine, always a problem that seems quite intermittent. Sometimes, when I do a reboot, after that it goes to the Windows XP screen saying once your settings, it will just sit there for 10 or 20 minutes. After a while, I drop and force a shutdown with power switch of the tablet. But at other times, my tablet is going to close or restart very decently, if not a little too slowly. , But sometimes it will stop well on its own!

  So, what can I do? I really don't want to send support staff to the Motion Computing and hope they can understand that. Can someone out there help me dig into this question that I don't know. I'm decently motivated and I think I'm sufficiently talented and somewhat knowledgeable on the technical aspects that would be needed. I don't really have friends 'tech' or the partners I can ask or want to ask for help on this.

  It was reported from a reliable source that the weather plugin for Yahoo! Messenger may cause performance - especially during logout, shutdown and restart problems.

  Temporarily disable Yahoo! Messenger and then check your performance and you'll know if that's all.

  Hello I have a problem with drawing with a Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet or with Flash (2014).

  This is what happens:

  

  * Blue = Drawn with mouse * black = Drawn with Tablet

  As soon as I tap the stylus on the tablet a line will be created, and this only happens with Flash, software provided by the works of pen with Photoshop and another Tablet.

  I have the latest Wacom drivers installed.

  Here's my laptop specs:

  

  My native screen resolution is 3200 x 1800, but I'm running at 1920 x 1080. I tried it in both resolutions, and that doesn't change.

  The problem is solved in the last update of Flash Pro.Please update Flash professional at 14.1.0.96. Follow the instructions below for the same thing:

  Installation instructions

  1. Log off, and then connect to the CC desktop application. Updated the application when you are prompted.
  2. You should see a list of new updates as soon as the new CC desktop application is launched.
  3. Install Flash Professional CC and packaging of the device Mobile app. A connection high speed, it took me about 8 minutes.
  4. Once the application is installed, you can launch the application directly from the desktop application by clicking on it.

  Additionally, make sure that the wacom drivers are newer and you use the Tablet PEN mode and not the mouse.

• The tool brush Flash CC suddenly stops drawing when the step is small

  When you use the Brush tool, I have a problem that will be the race I paint abrupty cut at one point on the screen (about halfway to the bottom of the screen, it does not concern the position of the canvas or the coordinates).  This seems to happen when I have the scene size set to a smaller size (64 x 64 pixels for example).  I was able to reproduce the same behavior on several files and a Windows 8.1 machine and a Windows 7 machine, both using the updated version of Flash CC.  Both machines are double monitor, I'm not sure if that plays a factor.

  To reproduce:

  1. create a new FLA in Flash CC and set the size of the scene to 64 x 64 pixels.

  2. use the Brush tool and try to shoot from the top to the bottom of the screen (zoom level and position on the canvas is okay, as long as your cursor is going to the top of your screen to the bottom of your screen).

  3. the race cuts abruptly Mid-drawing at some point on the screen, about half way down.  You can continue to draw and move to the top, and it reappears when it crosses the barrier again.

  This does not occur if the size of the scene has something bigger (640 x 480, for example).  This also happens in Flash CS5 or CS6 and have noticed only happens in Flash CC.

  What is happening with the mouse to draw and also happened when I tested it on another PC with an attached Wacom tablet.

  Is what is happening to the other institutions, and is at - it a fix for this problem?  (aside, always using a size big stage)

• How do I disable Adobe Flash - too many sites have Flash ads that slow down the browser unless an analysis.

  Some pages contain 3, 4, 5 or more adobe flash ads running at the same time, which slows down the browser a lot. Then, if you happen to have several tabs open, the browser is dragging virtually interrupted and many times is not responding at all.

  I would like to be able to choose whether or not a page can run flash content - not it be something that works all the time for each page, with the only option being to kill the plugincontainer process in taskmanager - who kills even the Adobe Flash elements you can watch; like a youtube video.

  Why is there not a way to disable Adobe Flash in the browser? I have updated Firefox and Adobe Flash, but nowhere is there at - it an option to turn on or off according to your needs.

  A control can be added to the Internet Options that you can set to have a page request before it is allowed to run the Flash content? Having that kind of control would GREATLY increase the pleasure of sailing on several pages.

  Any information on how to do it, would be appreciated.

  Hello, this is already possible in firefox: go to firefox/tools > addons > plugins and shockwave flash to Activategame. then the plugin will be disabled by default but can be enabled on a site-by-site basis.

• Flash Builder 4.5 and Tablet OS SDK Install Help!

  First of all, I note I made an honest effort to find a solution in the forum and I tried to get this to work for hours.

  For some reason, the Tablet OS SDK does not appear in FlashBuilder (final) 4.5.  I did the following steps:

  1. Installed Flash Builder 4.5 (final)
  2. Installed Tablet OS SDK 1.0.2 Select YES to integrate with Flash Builder.
  3. Open Flash Builder as an administrator
  4. File - new - project Actionscrip Mobile.  Select Flex 4.5, Blackberry OS, finish.

  After all this, not found Flashbuilder qnx components (for example, when typing import, the list that appears does not qnx).

  I have a lot of tablet OS applications that I need to put in Flash Builder 4.5.  I've updated to 4.01.  Help, please!
