  • Adobe Flash crashes constantly, reset or update is not good

I did this for years. I have "reset" Firefox many times, I uninstalled Adobe Flash and reinstalled version 16.0.0.235. After I uninstalled it and updated it ran for a while but I'm back for the message "Flash is busy." The only way I can go is to stop the plug or turn it off, but of course, then I have no video. I installed "Videowithoutflash" (I think that's the name of it listed with Firefox extension very reviewed and everything went very well for a day about. But then the next day no videos might play unless I enabled flash, and then it starts soon to crash again. It is a problem for many years. I have been through many forums, trying to find an answer, nothing works, or if it's not for long. Is there a way to get rid of Adobe Flash and play videos? There are browsers that do not use flash to view videos? Help!
    Thanks in advance

  • Adobe Flash blocks constantly

My adobe flash crashes constantly on all sites where necessary. I tried everything in the article on accidents, but it does not help.

OK, what version of prior Flash will work so I can use Firefox & playing games on Facebook, & watch videos on sites. It crashes whenever I try to use the flash content. Not on YouTube, however, because it is using HTML, I think. Yes, sorry for the repeat, but I can not watch any content flash with Firefox, it seems.

  • Flash Builder crashes constantly. Help!

I'm running Flash Builder CS5 in a box of 64 bit Windows 7 HP and it crashes constantly during the strike, selection of text, collage and other normal actions in the editor. He freezes for 5 to 10 minutes and then returns to the normal work again. However, sometimes not beyond a single character typed and it hangs again! It is obtained if frustrating, that I wonder how am I ever going to complete my AIR application. Some days, he's suspended for longer it works and so I get practically anything fact.

Anyone has an idea why it may crash all the time? I'm not under all versions of Eclipse or Aptana on this machine.

    Thank you!

My first try would be to stop the automatic generation process. You can do this in the Project menu. Then when you run it builds, or you can just press command-B to build.

If this isn't the case, then it is maybe something wrong with your instalation and/or plugins. Or just something wrong with your overall computer. Try reinstalling Flash Builder. If all else fails at this point, try to set up the environment on another computer just to see what happens.

Also, try to think how do you have this problem start and address this problem.

  • Flash crashing and video playback/Streaming problems

Recently did a reinstall of Windows 7 and have experienced problems with Flash and video playback in general. Questions may or may not be related. I have not detected problems with the opera and so I think that these are problems of Firefox. 3 major video sites that I use are (HTML 5 player) YouTube, twitch.tvand Crunchyroll.

    (1) flash very quickly and systematically accidents

       * Specifically noted when viewing streams on twitch.tv
       * Often crashes within a minute, almost certainly within a few minutes
       * Crash logs provided below

    (2) reading crashes

       * Occurs on all 3 sites
       * On twitch, stream freezes (but Flash does not crash). On YouTube, loading circle comes up and video freezes
       * If this occurs on twitch, Flash less likely to officially crash

    (3) volume cuts

       * Occurs on all 3 sites
       * If this occurs on twitch, Flash may still crash after
       * I've had volume issues with my system in general, with volume occasionally cutting in gaming programs, such as League of Legends and Hearthstone. That being said, I do not experience this issue with Opera and this only occurs on video playback in Firefox.

    Attempts at Solutions:

       * Disabled hardware acceleration in Flash
       * Reinstalled/Updated Flash and (I think) made sure there is only one version of Flash
       * Reinstalled/Updated Firefox
       * Cleared cookies/cache/other stored web data
       * Updated all drivers

I wouldn't stop using Firefox as my preferred browser and works fine on all my other devices, but if the problem persists, I'll have to. Any help or insight is appreciated!

Unfortunately, I have tried all fixes of cor - el without success.

However, I started to use audio drivers Realtek instead of Microsoft and everything seems to work more smooth. Will update later when I did several tests.

  • Resolve repeated Shockwave Flash crash Firefox - EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ

    Hey all,.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I worked on a client computer and I get frequent crashes. Previously, the logs show the same error but indicated in the metadata for a plugin obsolete. I removed the plugin and accidents happen again (at least once a day).

In newspapers that bit that worries me is that Sophos may be the culprit and maybe hinder or prevent intervention of Flash to function properly.

    Newspapers:

The following actions have been recommended in various articles of Ko and I take them without resolution:
    -Updated Firefox
-Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Flash
    -Hardware acceleration disabled for Flash
    -Disabled hardware acceleration for Firefox
    -Removed previous plugin (LogMeIn).

    Greatly appreciated

Each of the 3 reports is different:

    (1) flash crashes

It uses protected mode (you can see the entries of the EXE in the blocked thread). It is not stable on all systems, unfortunately. There is a new parameter hidden to test with this option off:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the flash and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable - protected mode to change its value from false to true.

It cannot take effect until all the Flash was discharged for a few minutes, or you close Firefox.

Before the preference has been added, how to disable protected mode was by creating or modifying a parameter file. The following/post pages provide different approaches to that if it is necessary (if Flash EXE process continue to appear in the processes tab, Windows Task Manager, even after changing the preferences of Firefox):

To download the Flash completely (closing and restarting Firefox could help) until it takes effect.

    Any improvement?

    (2) related to D3D11 crash

Firefox has recently started to use this most recent version of DirectX. I'm not sure it's important, because the accident could have happened with the old version, too.

Two of the reports three crash related to this report indicates problems with a different graphics card/chipset driver. In this case, if an updated driver is not available or not useful, the solution is usually to disable Firefox to use hardware acceleration.

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it again. Any difference?

    (3) OOM = Out of Memory crash

With the use of the memory system to 81%, Firefox has apparently failed to get the memory block, he asked from Windows and died. I hope this isn't a common problem.

  • Plug in container and Flash crashing issue

    Finally Flash started working... partly.

    Using Firefox Windows 8.1 36.0.4

I say "Partly" because Pages that I use I have to refresh the page 3-7, until he catches and Flash decided to work.

So, I did some work to see what and has my Windows Task Manager up and I was wondering why the process mixed around when I reloaded the page where the flash crashed and was not able to load as soon as page came.

So, I noticed in Task Manager too a Windows Reporting problem blown up when Flash crashed (has not loaded)
So I said there must be a file of reason why it crashed. So I went to start > computer (right Clicked) manage > computer management open on the left side you click on event viewer

I hope that these screenshots can help to see why Flash crashes.

I also did a dump file plug-in container to and it is big enough 203 170 MB after I got flash to work by refreshing the page several times.

BEX typcally indicate an injection of process attempt software and can be a sign of malware.

In addition, if the EXE launches when you play Flash media in Firefox, then you don't successfully disable not the Protected Mode feature as I suggested in response to your post earlier this week: why is Adobe deliberately hate Firefox? When Protected Mode is disabled, the DLL will launch inside the plugin - container.exe, and you won't see Flash EXE process gave birth to the outside.

  • Adobe Flash and other questions about Flash crashes

There are several cases of Adobe Flash crashes if I use Firefox, IE or Google Chrome - browsers and simply reload the page corrects this BUT repeats again and again.

I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit in which the Flash program comes apparently integrated in the operating system as a hybrid 32/64 bit. When I inspect the add-on version Flash in Firefox, and an audit of the update, Adobe points out, correctly, that my system is 64 bit, English, Firefox Windows. Then when I do the same thing in Windows Internet Explorer, by checking the version shipped, I get a message that KB2999249 is available as a download fix Flash problems in Internet Explorer. Since this installation, the Flash has collapsed in IE [yet].

So my question is: How can I be certain that when Firefox reports that Flash is "day" that he is indeed a version 64 bit compatible? Note that the download from Adobe site identifies only one version available for Firefox, IE and Google - the current version is the 15.0.0.152 file: NPSWF32_15_0_0_152.
The "32" in the file name part suggests that it is a 32-bit application and, if so, where can I find NPSWF64_15_o_o_152 [if exists]?

edited the title of this thread to reflect questions

I check my addition of the Manager of ons regularly, even obsessive. I still have the last flash.

  • Certainly stop Adobe Flash crashing?

Adobe Flash crashes whenever I try to use YouSendIt - I tried all your solutions recommended, but nothing works.

Recent crashes of some multimedia content (this includes the Youtube videos, some flash games and other applications), in collaboration with Firefox are most likely caused by a recent update Flash and/or malfunction like Real Player browser plugin.

    What to do!

What you need to do is clean operating system installation. Who knows what is wrong and what you did with your computer laptop last days.
Some additional software is perhaps responsible for that.

I hope that you created the recovery DVDs. Otherwise install OS using F8 and repair my computer option (recovery). With the factory settings, everything should be OK.
