Flash CS 6 is hard to import .wav files

Do not know what is happening with it but it does. Very CLEARLY a bug. If I drag the files in the library, it will give an error for each file but then once it has imported each of whom she will then ask me if I want to overright it and then reimport again. The audio is then ruined and cannot be used. It has been distorted to sound like static.

If I import one by one, it does the same thing. If I try to import them at the same time the program crashes.

The .wav files play well in any other program is not the files themselves. It's also repetitive.

The ONLY thing that works is to batch them convert to aif via the Media Encoder files but it is stupid to think that I must do this by default every time.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit with 8 GB of memory and an Intel Xeon processor clocked at 2.8 ghz

  • Solved my problem! Where someone is looking to this issue, the error occurs when you save a file hearing and select "include markers and other metadata" at the bottom that blocks the import every time for me. Unchecking this stupid thing corrects the mistake of import. It is reproducible on several computers in our office as well is indeed a fix.

  • Error header when importing Wav files

The problem I'm facing is that first CS6 will not import my audio Wav files. When I try to import It gives the following message and is unable to import the file:

"Cannot open the file due to a header error".

The original audio file, which opened with happiness in FCP 7 (I'm at first project since a previous Final Cut Pro project) is in the following (as described in the film Inspector of QuickTime Player) format:

    Linear PCM

    16-bit little endian signed integer

    2 channels

    48000 Hz

Although the files will not open in first, they will open in Adobe Audition, which gives their 32 bit depth (it also describes the original as "16-bit little-endian" format - I admit that this technical aspect of audio files is clear to me).

Any suggestions of how I can coax first in import and opening these files?

    Thank you, Andrew

After the opening of the hearing, re - save out them.  This should fix any errors of header.

  • Impossible to import wav files

I'm relatively new to working with captivate and is trying to import a .wav file into a slide. According to a book on Captivate logic of icon - it is said that captivate supports mp3 files and wav files. He said also that that once any, WAV files are converted to mp3 format. When I try to import a wav file I get a message that says "unable to decode and import the selected service/mp3 file. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you!

    Welcome to our community, Sue

    Try this.
Open sound recorder in Windows (start > run > type sndrec32 and press enter)
Inside of sound recorder, click file > open and open the WAV file.
    Click file > save as
    Change... a button click
    Click OK
(Note that you really don't change anything)
Type a different file name, and then click Save.
Now try to import the new file name in Captivate.

  • Import Illustrator files into Flash

I'm using Flash CS4 and I want to import a * file WAS containing the shapes of the countries of Europe. The thing is that each country has a topping of points (blue or yellow) instead of a solid color. Here's a screenshot of my Illustrator screen:http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6983/testedd.jpg

When I import the AI in all these points are rasterized and everything looks like to crushed because I have more Flash vector points but rather in bitmaps. Example of the exported SWF file: http://takeab.us/SPL_embed/index_carte.html
(try and right click and zoom, you will see how it looks like)

So what is the best way to import a file I and also retain the vector shapes? I tried with an EPS version and still no hope.

    Select each country.

Object > expand, then Pathfinder > Crop.

You must ensure that the model is considered as vector objects. It will do for many more objects well.

    Repeat for all countries.

Then copy > paste into Flash.

  • Load external wav files

I'm currently import mp3 files using the loadSound feature. Problem is, because of some problems of mp3 encoding that I can't use this format due to problems of loop, so I turn to .wav files that work very well. The thing is, if I try to import wav files using the loadSound function it does not work... do not play the wavs.

Is there a way I can load external wav files in flash?

You can load a wav, but you can't seem to play by using loadSound().

  • Body don't does not correctly read TC in wav files - is there a fix

    Agency v7.2.2 CC

    OSX 10.8.5

First is not able to properly read TC embedded in wav files?

I'm in i/s-NDF 29.97, next... Organization seems confused and wav TC appears in the source monitor as long as what appears to be a Drop Frame calculation.

    Example:

Audio Protools Rig receipt as a file audio wav with on-board TC begin to 00:59:45:00. Checked in Avid. Body displayed in the source in the form 00:59:48:17. This is not correct.

    Example 2:

Departure from TC at 01:10:01:20... body displayed as 01:10:05:26

I have several segments and rods which must be recessed in a seq to the specific TC, which is incorporated into the wav file... but the body may not display correctly.

Using tools of recalculation of TC is not always give me the exact result... sometimes off the coast by a framework. For a form semi-long seq, this 'off Frame' can lead to more serious synchronization problems.

Is there a solution for this?

Found the solution. I remember that treats a seq of 30 frames per second during this project and had passed my 'Timebase of media for an indefinite period"at 30 frames per second. I checked the setting and it's still at 30 frames per second. I changed to 29.97 i/s-NDF and re-imported wav files... now correctly read the TC

It's in the preferences > media > media indeterminate Timebase

This should be identical to your seq Timebase and affects interpretation TC of wav files and I think that the sequences of images as well.

Hello. I tried to download stuff of voice-over Audition on Flash, but I had no success. Whenever I try, I get the error "one or more files were not imported because he had problems reading of their. I can download Audacity for Flash stuff, I can go to Audacity to the hearing of Flash, but I can't go just from hearing to Flash. I want to be able to Audition to Flash for I can be able to quickly change the sound files after their registration in a more effective way that Audacity can offer.

  • When we import MP3 in Flash, it grows - how can we import sound with precision for lipsync?

We use Flash Pro CC in a mixed animation - background documentary, animated characters on top - so timing is critical. When import us images in flash convert us video to FLV format which works very well, but we have to import audio separately in order to rub to work. As advised by helpsheets to Adobe, we import the sound in MP3 / 128 kbps, 44.1, but when it happens, it's too long by 6%. For example, a framework of 88 MP3 becomes an image 94 MP3 of Flash Pro CC scenario.

Is it possible to import sounds so that it does not stretch. This is crucial for us because our character has lipsync and we need to be right.

Any help is appreciated? Anyone experienced this? Someone at - there a work around?

    Thank you very much

PS We are animate using short clips - mainly 3-4 seconds. The longest of five episodes is 13 seconds, but all should be well within the limits of what flash can handle.

Try to import as an aiff because mp3s are compressed and you want to rub the sound will be clearer still. I know that wav files do not play in flash sync can be that you are experiencing this same issue as well?

  • Video importer does not recognize the .wav files

When I click on get the media, then click on files and folders in PE10, then click a .wav file I want to import, I get the pop-up "Please use importing video. The problem is that the video importer only recognizes the video, mpeg2 files for example. The .wav files that I researched before being forced to use the "importer" video is not in the list. It was so easy to import audio files in earlier versions of Premiere Elements. Why the "importer" video should be used if it does not list the common .wav files? The video importer settings can be adjusted, or this application may be avoided? Gee, I don't know why the things that worked well are made more complicated or is no longer can be made.

In addition, please download the appropriate help file or manual user to save? I'm willing to pay for this service that we have already taken for granted. Gee, I've been a loyal fan of Premiere Elements. However, things become useless and obscure. I hope moderators help despite this negativity found mine. I'd think again of a program that I made the praise of many people.

There is no real manual for the program - that's why I wrote my books.

    http://Muvipix.com/pe10.php

But I'm not sure it would help you in this case.

Where is the WAV file? It is on the hard drive of your computer?

You certainly should not use the importer of the video to get the WAV file - assuming that it is not coming from an external device, such as a camcorder or a smartphone or iPad or another similar term.

But if you have problems, try just open Windows Explorer (or Finder on Mac), locate the file and then just by dragging from Windows Explorer WAV file in your media Panel. It should fall right into.

  • import a WAV file into iTunes?

Can someone explain to me how do I import a WAV file into iTunes? I'm dragging in, right/option clicking on the file and go - open in iTunes but nothing happens and I can't play or do anything with it. Thank you

It adds no doubt, but given that WAV files do not contain track information is to find with no name of the album and as the file name for a song title. Look in your recently added playlist.

  • Windows Media Player only recognizes the song titles when they are imported from itunes, imported in the form of wav files.

Hi, I imported/ripped music in form of wav files using WMP first and imported into itunes so that I can sync w / my ipod but itunes recognized only the first words of the music info (generally the number of song, title, ect). ITunes would allow me to change the info. So I decided to import my 7 000 more songs again using itunes, in the hope of finding the songs via watched folders to WMP. Well, that was the case, but he only identified the song number and the title. Now, I have a long list of other/unknown.

I can get information in WMP via "Find album information", one song at a time, but that would take forever. I imported 318 songs to date. I use wav files to maintain the quality of the sound.  Can someone tell me an easier way?

    Hi MarkyB13,

You might have items in your library in Windows Media Player that have missing or incorrect media information.

You can check out the following link and check if it helps:

  • How to import an audio file with track saved as a separate folder pjt wav files

    Dear,

I got a project for which the audio was recorded in the folder containing a WAV for each audio track.

When I try to import the given in first, it recognizes the separate files. Avid links together in a single file.

I have to miss an option somewhere to make it happen but are looking in several forums and google without answers.

I really want to have to merge all the files that it will take me hours of work for nothing.

    Help please!

    Config: PC, Win10, creative cloud.

Found a way to do it.

Import each take different 4 as wav files, merge these four files, export the file merged into a new WAV and then import that wav file to synchronize with the video.

It's a pain, it takes more time, but it works.

  • Header error when importing large wav file

    Hello guys

I get an error message when I try to import a wav file into Premiere Pro.
When I import a small file I don't have the problem, but when I try to import a file with 10 GB I get the error message: "cannot open the file due to an error header. The file I want to import was performed with the hearing.
I tried the solutions that other people posted in the old discussions, but nothing worked for me.

How can I solve this problem? I'm getting crazy with it.
    Thanks for your time.

I expect more support from the community. It's a shame

OK, for people with the same problem:
The way I fixed this was split the audio of the movie in 3 parts (each part about 3 to 3.5 GB) with first, later I sent each party to the hearing. Then standardized the audio that's what I had to do, recorded every standard file and put it again in the first.

In the end joined the 3 parts first and worked well. I was afraid to do this because of the standardization process, that I wanted to do with hearing. I didn't have 3 parts with different audio levels after normalization. Fortunately worked well

    Kind regards.

  • Import Photoshop files (PSD) for Animate (Flash) via JSFL scripts

    Hello

I want to automate the workflow we have including import psd files in Animate (Flash)-> make a few changes on the content > export swf.  The last part (-> to make some changes on the content > export swf) is already automated, the only thing left is to import psd files. The problem is that every time you import a psd file, you are invited to a window where you must enter the preferences how you want to import a psd. Exactly, this window is the problem, we must always change preferences and confirm the changes by hand. Is it somehow possible to set preferences for psd import by jsfl script and avoid the window preferably?

    Thank you.

Yes, assign the boolean false dialogue show in the importFile method.
