Flash cs6 publish android apk

I made a flash animation in cs6 and publish it in android for air 3. but I do not see the apk running file on my android device seen KitKat in there it gives error unfortunately xyz has stopped

Over the years, AIR has been improved. You use 3 of AIR, and the current version is 21. It might be useful to download the latest version of the SDK and adding in CS6. Go to the Help menu, and then choose Manage Adobe AIR SDK... Add the SDK software once you have downloaded it.

The SDK is here:

  • Adobe Air for Flash CS6 works only on Android 5.0.2

    Hello

I tried to publish a game that I have developed in Adobe Flash CS6 using the Adobe Air platform.

I've done this countless times before, I'm not new to develop in Flash.

Even if everyone thinks that HTML5 will take over as "Flash is dead" I still think it's a great development platform.

I have trouble getting my APK files to run on Android 5.0.2 (Lolipop) without apparent reason.

If I choose to install AIR separately, it works. If I decide to incorporate it into the APK, it gives an error immediately after the launch of the app.

There is no error code and nothing I can do reference. just an error "The Application was able to start".

I would be grateful if someone could help, thanks.

This article was written 7 months ago, there is a good chance that the AIR is ok with 5 Android now. Even the article, that it was fixed in 5.0.1.

AIR installed on the computer is not the same as the AIR SDK. You don't want to not download either version of the AIR SDK:

    Download Adobe AIR SDK

or download the latest beta, which is be AIR 19:

Download Adobe AIR 19 Beta - Adobe Labs

Once it has downloaded and unzipped, you will have a record. Now go to the Help menu of Flash Pro and select managed Adobe AIR SDK...

Here, you can add an item and navigate to where the folder is located. It can be anywhere, I tend to leave in my downloads folder.

If you were to take the file act.jar of this article it would be things likely to mess. But just as a point of interest to Flash Pro users, the file is located in the SDK folder, inside the lib folder.

So, the short version of what I hope are you currently build for AIR 3.2, who would have a chance with the latest versions of Android, and edit using AIR 18 or 19 would be a good idea.

    What could be wrong?

Thank you. kglad, for your help. I started fresh and rebuilt from a different angle and it works now.

  • Flash CS6 exports "Air for Android ' apps only with icons in small sizes: (36 x 36, 48 x 48, 72 x 72)... How to fix this?

    Hello

I'm using Adobe Flash CS6 (15 AirSDK) for android applications. I have always noticed that the process of publication in flash is only 3 sizes of icons-app: 36 x 36, 48 x 48 and 72 x 72. In the descriptor xml that looks like this:

    <icon>
      <image36x36>assets/icon36.png</image36x36>
      <image48x48>assets/icon48.png</image48x48>
      <image72x72>assets/icon72.png</image72x72>
    </icon>

In previous versions of AirSDK (3.4 and 3.5) this is less of a problem, since the app icons where at least somehow always put on the scale to fit the size of the icon of the application to the android device. With newer AirSDKs however they stay as they are, which is incredibly small on new devices and who looks just ridiculous! Since flash itself does not an option to add larger icons, I tried to write them in the descriptor myself, as:

    <icon>
      <image36x36>assets/icon36.png</image36x36>
      <image48x48>assets/icon48.png</image48x48>
      <image72x72>assets/icon72.png</image72x72>

      <image96x96>assets/icon96.png</image96x96>

      <image144x144>assets/icon144.png</image144x144>
    < / icon >

But when I do that, flash that rewritten or, when I write of the descriptor protection, gives an error:

"application descriptor file cannot be parsed.

I need to get this fixed! :-S ...  I guess by either the reactivation of this scale-to-fit thingie in the SDK itself somehow (since it did and still does not work with for example AirSDK 3.4) or be able to add more icons. Is there someone who has to be treated, or knows how to get around this problem? Cause right now I'm stuck, since always, I compiled my AirForAndroidApps this way, and I need the latest version of the SDK to my milkmanANEs to work.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance, ANB_Seth

Very well. I found an answer:

Yes, you can and must add these icons via the descriptor file, since the flash usually allow you to. But until you do that, go into the settings 'Air release' in flash. Here, right on page 1, there is the section "include files". Add your png icon there. Click OK and exit the settings. Now open the descriptor with a Publisher outside the Flash and write to the files I posted above. Close. Record. Do write protected. No go to flash and publish.

  • First published in the ATMOSPHERE in problem Flash CS6

I get this error after trying to install the .air to publish a success to the Flash CS6 AIR. The file that I use has been working well for release into the ATMOSPHERE in CS5.5.  Anyone know what is happening here?  I do not use the embedded runtime publish option.

"This application cannot be installed because this installer has been misconfigured. Please contact the author of the request for assistance. »

    Thank you!

    Hi David,

The reason for this problem could be that the same application implemented with different certificates and the new which you try to install conflicts with the former.

    Try the following steps:

    1. make sure that you uninstall the app LOOK completely. Locate the application from its App name that you specified in the dialog box "AIR settings".

    2. install the application in the AIR again.

If it is not also then help

You can check by changing the ID of the application and install it as a new application that has never been installed before.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • questions about the uses of flash cs6 and the code that it exports VS. switch to other tools

I looked at the overviews on the new version of flash and I did experiment a bit with muse and edge of adobe. I have also heard the announcement Friday 4.1 android devices will run is no longer the flash player. my questions are:

1 does flash cs6 fuction basically the same design-wise, but when it comes to export the file, the code a combination of html and javascript rather than in a solid swf file as it was currently publishing my work as?

2 East edge meant to supplement flash? or he will take some of the uses of the flash so edge can publish for flash and mobile devices will remain in the area of desktop applications?

    3. If I created full-flash sites in older versions of flash, can I import in cs6 and make them exported as functional across all devices?

I guess that, overall, just trying to get an overview here so that I can decide how to move forward and what to focus on.

    Thank you!

    1. Yes. The Toolbox for CreateJS is an additional downloadable extension for Flash CS6. He's going to post html and js files that will provide the animation rather than the swf file that you would normally publish. The success or failure of the version of javascript from your animation is the result of the work within the Toolbox. You are a bit constrained in the use of the timeline in Flash for your animations. If you are only working in Actionscript, then the output will be very disappointing.

2 edge outputs javascript, css and html for you give an animation. The user interface allows you to design within the limits of what can make the border. You can preview and adjust and adjust your animation work you. Edge is a tool of html5. It can create some animation html5. It is not a replacement for Flash. It's something that you can use to integrate the animation in html instead of Flash.

The problems and the benefits of each are unique. It is a good substitute to learn javascript, css and HTML 5. If you don't understand the code that is created from each of these tools, you can easily end up with huge, inflated, files which improved. I'm very biased towards really knowing what is happening. If I need to change something, I want to be able to enter the code and make a change, do not add an extra piece of code to work around what was there. I don't use any of the timeline, and so nothing of what I publish using CreateJS. Well, he's going to publish, but nothing happens because there is nothing on the timeline to translate.

You can download a trial version of Flash CS6 and try to box at tools for yourself. Edge is still in free preview, you can get a copy to http://labs.adobe.com and try to see how it works.

Also, if you do not use the Greensock Animation with Flash platform, take a look at this. It has recently been extended to ensure similar Javascript for most libraries. http://www.greensock.com/

  • Flash CS6 and SDK 10

    Hello

I had really intended to build a new application for BB10 using Flash Professional CS6. In fact, I was very happy. I have followed the development of BB10 and I'm a big believer in the potential. I expected to be part...

I tried to load the Blackberry 10 SDK in Flash CS6 and got nowhere. There is minimal support both online in the forums... Some users seem to have thought of it using some hacking... It is not intuitive and easy to use but...

BlackBerry 10 SDK has been for AIR - 3.0

Adobe is now running AIR 3.5.

Then the release of the SDK Gold is out and I was a happier time, think that some of the compatibility has been set, but as far as I know... It's the same as before download... AIR 3.0 SDK

I understand that the SDK works with Flash Builder, but honestly, I'm boggled as to how they are imported and linked to Flash Pro... CS6...

    I would have a return e-mail, but I couldn't find a contact e-mail... So, I posted in the forum...

I hope in the future, more attention will be given to developers Flash Pro and compatibility will be fixed...

I am looking forward to BB10 and wish RIMM much success...

I strongly recommend that look you in Flash Builder, if you do any serious coding. The workflow is much more intuitive than Flash Pro especially for mobile development. That being said, I still use Flash Pro every day to the creation of content, but I do all my coding in Flash Builder.

As others have found ways to get the API in Flash Pro there, but it is not a supported platform and will not in the short term. If you are not interested in using the API, I published an article on how to create an application BlackBerry 10 with Flash Professional here - http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Adobe-AIR-Development/How-to-Create-a-BlackBerry-10-AIR-Appli...

We are upgrading to the new AIR runtime, but it won't be ready for the launch. It will be released in an updated version of the BlackBerry 10 operating system in the future. You can get updates on the AIR here - Roadmap https://developer.blackberry.com/air/downloads/roadmap/

  • Flash CS6 breaks after opening file FLA Flash CC

We use Flash CS6 here at work, and a client sent a FLA file in Flash CC Pro.

I worked initially, but now it takes 6 minutes to test the movie, 3 minutes to save her. Essentially, it can be worked on.
We use a Mac Pro with 8 GB of ram, decent machine.

The customer can run the FLA on his laptop, he plays in 5 seconds and records quickly. His machine has the same characteristics.

Thus, it is apparently a problem with Flash CS6 on Mac OS, the impossibility to run FLA files created by Flash Pro CC on a PC.

In addition, it should be mentioned that it is impossible to save XFL of Flash Pro version cc "cannot create the file, try a different directory" or a joke lol.

I removed all the glitches of digital data from the FLA, caused by Adobe CS6 file, save the empty spaces in the names of symbols such as; & 32; & 63 etc..
But that does not matter. I have rasterized all symbols, deleted, audio, vector fonts, change settings, delete preferences, uninstalled, reinstalled.

Still no joy. Flash CS6, it's dealing with something for ten minutes when running a FLA file that CC Flash can operate in 4 seconds.

We do not have regular access to Flash CC pro, and the customer may only register one in Florida that we cannot use it with Flash CS6.

    So you see the problem

One thing to try is control/Clear Cache Publishing. I had cases where the considerably accelerated up to test the animation.

  • . FLV appearing don't not in publication .air (Flash CS6)

    Hello

I made an interactive story with Flash CS6 and ActionScript 3.0, the characters are all .flvs they are animated and transparent backgrounds need so that these can be placed on a separate background. However when I publish the piece as a .air, install and run the application, the .flvs do not all appear. The only advice I could find is to make sure that in the .xml found in the same folder as the .air that transparency is not defined 'transparent', the value is "false", I tried to change to 'true' just to check, and it did not work. Any help what so ever would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

    This can have many reasons

1 make sure that you add all the necessary assets manually in export-air options

2 videos have some restrictions as their dimensions must be divisible by 16, also flash could have problems with the audio so its not standard 44.1 kHz but 48 kHz

    etc.

Make sure that you check 'allow debugging' in the export options for the advice which was wrong.

Also just a tip: I don't see how this is a good design to characters in a story interactive everything, you must convert them to the format swf and do movieclips out of them.

This will keep your manageable size and give you more control.

  • The question DPS android apk file

The android apk file, that I generated in Adobe DPS stares into space when I test it on a samsung galaxy.

I have setup my folio in DPS, created the p12 certificate. created the apk via the constructor of the app.

When I test the file, it is empty. Can't understand why. I installed the Adobe on the Galaxy note content viewer. Everything seems to work very well.

The folio is 225 mg of size. in comparison, my apk is only 17 mg. missing something, are not attached.

I followed the instructions of Adobes in the creation of the android app. The app is horizontal only, please tell me that I don't need a portrait as well.

I'm a designer, not a programmer, so I can't understand what is the fix. It seems to be connected with the creation of the apk.

    Help in St. Catharines

    Hi Rob,

You haven't published any of your folios? If you have not done this, try to publish a folio (on Folio producer) as 'Public' and check again.

Let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards.

  • CC think Flash CS6 is installed and is not

Well, I really need Flash CS6, because Flash CC does not lower than Flash 10.3 publish and not publish AS2 specifications of what sites are demanding. That alone cause massive headaches.

So I need Flash cs6, which I used to have installed (legally), but my license expired so I went to creative cloud.

Creative Cloud Desktop think again I Flash CS6 my desktop, but I did not. I deleted it when I went to an SSD for the system hard drive.

So I can't download Flash CS6 either and I web banners to be shipped.

    Huge frustration here...

Thanks in advance for ANY help.

    Simon.

Well, the problem (no thanks to all of Adobe. I've been on "Live Chat" for an hour without help...) I 'had' a .dmg for Flash CS6 file and when I installed it I just clicked on 'I have a subscription.

But the problem with Cloud Office Creative - there is too much trust on it (no alternative download option) and the software itself is flakey. He constantly asks to update itself, God knows why, and then it does not work when you need it. And since I'm now pay each month of service, I'm not impressed by the product and attitude from Adobe. Why support for AS2 and Flash<10.2? bah="">
