  You can follow the steps and then check.

  What is the make and model of your USB Flash drive?

  The USB Flash drive works in any other computer?

  It might be a problem with the drive itself, or it may need to be formatted.

  I suggest you check out the website of the manufacturer for possible troubleshooting or know how to reformat the disk, if necessary.

  What Toshiba flash drive you exactly, because there are different models on the market? I m not owner of this flash drive but for as far as I know Toshiba doesn't support Linux, so this software will not work on Linux, so the reader isn't locked.

  For me, as a novice by using this system, I find quite confusing to find a "Red Cross" in the MUSIC folder, when this "Red Cross" just lead you to a folder that contains pictures and videos and not relatet to any music at all. In other words, I don't want it 'plug and play', or how do to save/backup of photos, videos and music and perhaps a more detailed description of what are the terms backup/backup, images, videos and music, could save other novices like me some time she discover.

  On the ME machine using Windows Explorer or my computer to access the Flash Stick
  (USB key) - make a folder on the drive - call photos or similar (you want to copy
  everything under a file name because there is a limit on the USB (Flash Stick)
  How many files can be copied to the root of the drive.

  Now go to your Photos (files) and right click on them and COPY, then go to the USB
  Stick and then right-click in the right pane of the pictures folder (everything you do) and
  DOUGH.

  On the computer to use Vista Start - computer or Windows Explorer to click right on the
  Files on the disk USB and COPY - then navigate in the folders where you want to
