Flash forms do not show in ColdFusion 8

I do not get the display of < cfform format = "flash" in a new installation of ColdFusion 8 on Windows 2003 server. Is there some additional software or mime parameter that needs to be done to display the output of .cfswf apparent?

Thank you Ian for your suggestion check the mapping to CFIDE. I checked and on our ColdFusion 6.1 server, CFIDE is a virtual directory on all areas. But on this new installation of ColdFusion 8, CFIDE was only a virtual directory for the default Web Site. Once I created a CFIDE virtual directory for the domain I was testing the Flash code therefore forms worked. I wonder why the installation of new outfits to occur manually.

The complete solution also appears to require the changes described in the TechNote mentioned previously:

http://KB.Adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=ebd0cbe3&sliceId=1

UPDATE: the above suggested changes include changing a setting in order to preserve the generated Flash. However, which allows these files generated with random file names to keep piling up in the web directory. So I changed it to the default value false and the Flash form code still works. So, as far as I can see, we can skip changing the flex-config. XML from false to true in the code:

No need to be hasty. Java and .NET have problems that they own. Your site is already in Coldfusion. A bird in hand and all that.

I've asked you three times if you copied everything on Inetpub/wwwroot, but you have not yet told. I would also like to reconfigure IIS. Follow the steps in this dip on configuring IIS for Coldfusion

It seems that you are not using javascript. Flash forms use actionscript. It's a totally different beast.

UPDATE:

Never mind. My previous suggestion will not work because the fields of radio have the same name. I'm sure there are better ways.

But you can call a function onClick. The one who changes the select lists State...

function setListState() {}
Newspaper.Enabled = (lead.selectedData == 1);
JCenter.enabled = (lead.selectedData == 2);
}

• form type = & quot; Flash & quot; do not appear in a table in IE

Everything started playing with Flash forms for the first time - need to know if it is a bug or not - and is there a work around?

If I have the form within a table it will appear only in IE7, but it does in Firefox. If I remove the table, it works in Internet Explorer.

I found a solution! cfform can be put inside a table. What you need to do is use an iframe with CBC to specify a file to include with the code cfform, something like this:

name = "coderesults".
ID = "coderesults".
Width = "650".
Height = "250".
marginWidth = "0".
marginHeight = "0".
hspace = "0".
hspace = "0".
align = 'top '.
frameborder = "0".

• Execute_query not showing - WORKING...-Message on Forms 10 g

Hello

There is a strange thing happening with our forms that have been migrated to 10g.

(1) our keys are remapped to those used in the Version 6i. For example: CTL + L is F9

(2) when a user press F7 and F8, Forms 6i, we get the message sequence:

Enter a query; Press F8, CTRL + q to cancel
then
Work...

and finally, we get the records.

However, on form 10g, we have when a user press F7 and F8:
Enter a query; Press F8, CTRL + q to cancel
the - WORKING-message is not displayed and after a while, we get the records.

There are no message_level before the enter_query or execute_query, and there is none: system.suppress_working in the form.

What could be the problem?

Steve,

Set of tests I did did not show the message "Work"... "either.
I think that this message is removed in 10g, that's why we have this small progress bar that keeps on moving left and right in the lower corner of the right side of the console window.

I couldn't find any reference in the form Builder Online-Help on: System.Message_Working.

• Numbers for iPad "Add form" do not always show

OK, I am trying to create a spreadsheet. I know that number for Mac, it does not support the ability to "create a form", but when I open a file on my iPad, some spreadsheets allow "add form", some not. I would really like to be able to "Add form" to my spreadsheet in my iPad.

Anyone know how I can create a worksheet and still keep the ability to 'Add a form' for my iPad? I guess it's a matter of version, but am confused when some of my files can still do it, and some can't?

I hope I made sense there.

Hi MacMovieMan,

If you don't have a heading row in a table in your worksheet, you will not be offered the creation of a new form option. What is happening in your worksheet?

• help please former flash player does not work on the game apps

Adobe Flash Player does not work how to fix it

depends on the problem and if you use a browser plugin (and browser) or a stand-alone.

but it is generally useful to:

I can't try to get < cfselect onBlur = "" > to work inside a < cfform format = "flash" > using Flash. As soon as I put any value in quotes, the Flash form no longer appears.

CFSELECT does not support the onblur. But why would you use that? A selection control does not "fuzzy" when you change the value. You can use onchange.

Hello

Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

Does this solve the problem? Let us know.

• Why Flash cookies are not deleted the first time I'm leaving Firefox?

I am running XP, Firefox 16.0.1 and Flash Player 11.4.402.287 and have Firefox configured to 'Clear history of Firefox closing', with 'Cookies' (among others) checked "settings to erase history. I also have Flash Player configured to "Block all sites to store information on this computer."

As I understand it, from Firefox 4 and Flash Player 10.3, have Firefox configured in this way should cause cookies Flash should be deleted out of Firefox. I also understand that even though I have Flash configured as I do, a list of websites that try to plant a cookie Flash is always recorded in the main settings.sol cookie.

I noticed, however, that this list of empty Flash cookies is not removed the first time I have quit Firefox; on the contrary, the list is deleted after launch and then leaving Firefox again.

Here is a step-by-step example:

(1) Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage tab-> storage Local to Site-> button settings confirm that the list is empty

(2) output, that manage Flash Player settings

(3) launch Firefox-> go to http://www.Hulu.com/ and click on a video to start playing

(4) recovery Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> Local website storage settings... tab button-> make sure that the list indicates http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

(5) leave the Flash Player Settings Manager

(6) Firefox exit

(7) raise Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST SHOWS AGAIN http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

(8) leave the Flash Player Settings Manager

(9) restart Firefox

(10) raise Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST SHOWS AGAIN http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

(11) exit the Flash Player Settings Manager

(12) exit Firefox

(13) stimulus Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST IS now EMPTY

Once again, my question is - why this list is not emptied the first time around?

Safe mode disables plugins, I think not, so that you can put those aside for now.

I suggest disable all non-essential extensions. We all tend to accrue to those who are not really necessary. You can do so here:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Modules > category: Extensions

If the kernel extensions, you really like the cause of the same problem, then I think you will have to just live with it. Please note that Flash is followed correctly your bet as a block, so I don't think that something is actually stored.
