Flash media live encoder

Hello

I downloaded the version 3.2 of flash media encoder and installation in the mac tell me "the installation file is corrupt" and wants to eject the virtual disk that creates live on the desktop.

Someone has already encountered this problem and how can I fix?

CS6 and previous programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan

Flash Media Server/Flash Media Live Encoder

Hello I just installed the add-in on my FMS 3.5 server authentication (Windows 2008 Server - 32-bit). I created a user and verify that the username/password is correct; However, whenever I try to connect to the server through Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2 I get not found user. Again, I'll go back to the utility on the FMS and check and the username/password combination is valid. I'd appreciate any help, I'm stuck. Thank you.

Please re-read. Yes, I restart. I understood what was my problem on yesterday. I needed run the utility as 'administrator' command prompt so that the users.exe to run entirely. It was a permissions problem. Thanks again!

How to start Flash Media Live Encoder?

I installed the Flash Media Server v4.3 and Flash Media Live Encoder v3.2...

Question: How do I start OUT?

on windows debut icon / all programs/adobe/and you should see the flash media live encoder if it does not work and you are on windows 7, you can use the start menu search bar... If you XP you can always get the .exe in C:\Program Files\ and look for adobe or flash media live encoder once found right click and create shortcut may put it on the desktop or you may need to Drage the shortcut on the desktop. I have not used XP in almost 2 years and become a keepsake for my memory

Is there a way to pass a name of user and password for Flash Media Live Encoder?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question or not, but I thought I remembered a way to pass a user name and password to FMS via Flash Media Live Encoder? I simply need to pass two values, equivalent to this in AS3:

netConnection.connect(url, "username", "password");
```
My application requires authentication for publishers, for security reasons, and for some reason I can't find the option to do this in OUT. Am I missing something?

You pass cannot connect to arguments, but what you can do is to pass in as GET vars on the connection url and then make sure that the client.uri property in your onconnect handler on the server side.

When the stream through flash quality is worse than Live Encoder

I am creating a system where people can broadcast to a Flash Media Server. When I aired in the flow using direct, the video seems decent. When I try to stream Flash, the video comes out strongly pixelated.
The only code I can find to do it is:

NS = new NetStream (nc);
ns.attachCamera (cam);
Should not be a way of resolution of entry? Encoder Live has ~ 15 parameters, are these adjustable parameters, with the release of Flash?

Live from Digital Rapids to Flash Media Server

I use a Digital Rapids StreamZ (version 3.8.0) encoder to stream YouTube, Dailymotion, Akamai. I want to install a Flash server on the same VLAN as my Digital Rapids to check coding in case there is a problem with YT/DM. So I downloaded Adobe Flash Media Server and now want to send my feeds to the AMS. What the URL of the server and the name of the workflow should I use to set my Digital Rapids? How can I configure the AMS to receive the stream of the Dominican Republic?

Solved: an another Flash Server was installed on the same server and have priority over configurations in port. I uninstalled it and streaming to AMS works very well. Hope this helps someone else.

To add an application to FMS follow the steps below

1 create a folder "nohup" under directory "$InstallRoot\applications".

2. the simple server-side code... Add file "main.asc" inside the directory "$InstallRoot\applications\my_app" which contained similar

3. to add the feed to the request, creates "stream" folder inside the directory ' $InstallRoot\applications\my_app ', in which create "_definst_" folder and then place your FMS stream supported in the directory. You can connect to this application using the url "rtmp://your_server_name/my_app". To play the mystream.flv of flow using video player, use the url "rtmp://your_server_name/my_app/mystream.flv".

Flash Media Encoder .f4v file .avi after conversion more

This is my first time using Flash Media Encoder.
I converted a 168 MB. Video to AVI. F4V and the file that results is 302 MB.
Is this normal?
What could I have done wrong?

I'm not familiar with the CamStudio compression settings, but it seems to me that AVI bitrate is lower than your rate target for new coding. If this is the case, it makes sense that the new file is bigger.

It would be better to start with a high quality AVI if possible. Do not forget that you are compress again when you transcode the file, so in order to maintain the quality of the source, you have no choice but to encode with very high throughput. If you start with a source of high quality, you can reduce the speed of transmission during the encoding of the flv/f4v
