flash on MAC problem

MAC users have a problem downloading Flash 10.3?

I'm on Mac OS10.6.7.  Bejeweled on Facebook told me that I had TO update Flash 10.3.  Follow-up on screen prompt and it says it downloaded, but never appeared in downloads, or the desktop.  Tried several times.   Went to the Adobe site and downloaded two times! Appeared on the desktop, but does not settle.  A red box came up, but the "install" button is grayed.  The "quit" button was functional.  Nothing happens.  He just told me always up to date.  The RED A turn around on the Adobe page, but he said: I have an older version. Now, the previous version will not work.  Help

"A red box came up, but the 'install' button is grayed out.  The "quit" button was functional. »

There is a box "Accept" you must check before the install button is active. It's a dark background so it could not be clearly visible, but you must accept the terms before you can install it.

  • Problems installing 11.9 Flash on Mac

I tried to install the latest update for flash and it failed. I followed the regular troubleshooting instructions for Mac (including remove old version of flash) and represented the package... failed.

I checked the packaging and content down to the resources folder to run Adobe Flash Player.pkg (original version that had so found the complete installation package).

When I run the pkg to Destination select screen all of my drives have the! next to them saying "Adobe Flash Player cannot be installed to this disk."

I tried to repair disk permissions (there are no problems) and still no joy.

    Any help please?

    Are you running 10.8.5?
If so, did you remove the file "mach_kernel" which appeared after the 10.8.5 update installed?

  • Problems with Flash for Mac OS x (10.5) and FF/Safari

Because there are REALLY knowledgeable people out there-no matter which cannot help?  PLEASE, I BEG YOU!

I usually run Firefox (3.6), but also have the same problem with Safari (4.0.4).  After recently updated Flash Player, Shockwave, Flip4Mac and Java in Firefox, on some websites, the image opens, I see the gray circular loading animation and then... nothing.  Just a white box. Cannot access controls and right click brings up a menu that includes: 'Settings' and 'on Flash Player 10 ".

Here is an example of a site where it's going: http://www.Oprah.com/oprahshow/catch-a-glimpse-of-Roger-Eberts-life-today-video

I deleted and reinstalled the Flash player and Shockwave several times, but no resolution.  I tried to reload the latest version of Firefox, but who have done nothing either.  I got in touch with Adobe, which replied that everything they do is supported installation/uninstallation - and then directed me to a procedure for Internet Explorer!  (That said, a second request referred me here, so maybe not a total waste of time!)  I'm not a programmer, just a moderately sophisticated user, then you are my last, best hope!  Thanks in advance...

Here's some of the info I sent Adobe:

Control-click and selecting "about Flash player 10' poster version # 10,0,45,2 (even though it says 45.0 on page FF control plug-in). Click settings to display the Adobe Flash Player settings: display/activate the acceleration hardware checkbox (checked). You cannot uncheck the box here. I did go to the flash site and try to see if changing any of the settings may help, but it did not.

It started to happen after I installed the latest version of the Flash Player and Shockwave. It happens in Safari and FF (my main browser).

I uninstalled and reinstalled, flash, shockwave and flip4mac several times. The two seem to work when you go to the appropriate page on adobe.com. Java also seems to work (according to the Java test page).

    Help, please!

    Here are my FF plugins:

H s2foster2, thank you. I can tell you that the Flash Player plug-in is correct. However, I'll give you a thread

  • Why is he not Flash on Mac disabled because of security problems on other operating systems?

Flash is currently disabled on Windows and Linux in Firefox because of security concerns. But this is not under OSX, why is this?
The page to check the updates of the plugin mentioned that all versions of Flash are currently vulnerable, so there seems to be a reason to block also on OSX.

That's what I see, but in the background the current deadlock is downloaded and applied.

The most recent Adobe Flash update (18.0.0.203) has requirements for Mac OS x version 10.6 to 10.9.

I have a version of Adobe Flash Player work, but it's all right, because that's when I had updated to 10.10 (Yosemite)

  • Flash for MAC Safari not updated

    Hello.

Can someone help me troubleshoot why my flash player to Safari on my new MAC is not automatically update even if it is configured to do PHO when I chck it's preferences.

Flash is the most recent version (now updated manually) and also new version of MAC OS.

The log files, I can check or anyone have encountered the same problem?

    Thank you

    Thomas

    Hi StoreThomas,

This version was a strong statement which means updates are sent via the adobe.com Web site and not the update service.  For more information, please visit the blog a preview of the Flash Runtime installation options post.  Particularly the section "Installation Options".

  • Cannot download Flash on Mac.

I tried to download Flash Player on my Mac with OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. When I download, the symbol shows a blue arrow, the orange box and the lock symbol, rather than the symbol of the usual type of hard drive. When I try to open the download, it opens through MatLab on my computer and shows an error box. I tried to open it through other applications available, but nothing will work. I also tried the download offline as well. Is there a quick fix for this? I need it to do their homework online as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Just found a solution to your problem that was already answered it How to install Flash Player if it is protected Simulink (Matlab)?

In my view, that he should solve your problem. Let us know if still face you any issue.
