Flash Player 10.1 will not install

I use Mozilla Firefox 3.6.1 on Windows Vista, and Flash 10.1 will not be installed.

I downloaded the installer, but after I click the conditions button I accept, it is said that it can not install following contradictory demands: Mozilla Firefox. He says this even when Firefox is not open, then, what do I do?

Also - assuming you use Windows - check with Manager tasks (processes tab) running Firefox is indeed not somewhere in the background.

  • Ive installed the new flash player and it will not work.

I recently had my pc infected by many viriuses. my pc has been cleaned by some of the following malwarebytes, avira and macafee. I think that iam in 32-bit windows Explorer. When I looked there is nothing after the ' # ' but it doesn't say "in the level of 128-bit encryption. What can I do?

Hi again, ok. Now since you have McAfee as a paid version, I would like to uninstall Avira or turn it off at least. The rule is to have an anti-virus program, since most of which will cause conflictions. MBAM is ok, as long as it's right on your desktop and you run it when you want.

What we will do is to uninstall the current version of Flash Player, install vs 9, then uninstall vs 9, then install the most recent Flash Player vs which is 10.1.102.64.

To do this, use the administrator account.

Go to this site and download and SAVE the program uninstaller on your desktop:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

Go to this site and download and SAVE the installer to your desktop:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/406/kb406791.html

You page down for Solutions and under Windows in Flash Player 9 and use the Internet Explorer 1.46 MB

Go to this site and download and SAVE the installer to your desktop:

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

You will use the Windows, Internet Explorer download EXE to install

Once you have on your desk, using the administrator account, you CLOSE all browser windows.

    Disable McAfee & Avira

Look in your tray (area near the clock) system for instant messengers, yahoo, aol, etc and turn them off.

Your computer, run the program uninstall and when it's finished, Reboot (restart).

Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

Run the Setup from vs 9 and when you're done, restart your computer

Test your browser here and you should be able to see the Flash animation (spin) logo and the Flash Player version must be listed.

    http://www.Adobe.com/software/Flash/about/  Must vs 9

Now, you run the program to uninstall again to uninstall vs 9, when finished, restart your computer

Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

Run Setup vs 10.1.102.64 and when finished, restart your computer.

Then test your browser and you should have now installed 10.1.102.64 vs.

You may want to print these directions to make it easier to follow.

If you have any questions, let me know.

  • Flash Player 10.1, will not be allowed to 'play '. Laughing out loud.

I have FF 3.6.8 (using as primary) and 4.0b6 FF, which I run on XP SP3.
I am getting error "Installation is corrupt!  Your help says it's because of the addition of Adobe DLM being partially installed browser.
Well I uninstalled three times now.  And when I go to re - DL Flash Player 10.1, I keep getting invited to MANUALLY install go.xpi, which then puts Adobe DLM right in my browser.  I get not anywhere in my efforts to make Flash Player 10.1 install or work in any capacity.

And Yes, I did disable my antivirus and firewall temporarily - to install.  But even the way we display message is buggy and quirky, and when go you back more than a few times, the cursor jumps a few lines automatically and it starts to clear the text instead of the line that you intend...

What happened to Adobe? You used to be great, now start you shit.  I could use some help to solve this cube of headings pixelated you call software.

Do not use the Download Manager; Download your Installer directly from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

BTW you do not discuss Adobe here - this is a user forum, so your complaints will not reach their destination.

  • I get a "Update Adobe Flash Player" message that will not let me log in my wordpress admin page. Is this a legitimate adobe or is it a scam?

    adobe-update-scam.JPG

This thing keeps coming up that I can't log into my blog admin panel. I downloaded the file, but the smalls as malware. «License agreement of the software from the Adobe «is a bunch of writing in a language of a forign.»» What is c? When I click 'Skip',..., the image disappears and nothing happens.

Yes, it looks like a fake popup.  Adobe would never use Times New Roman in a dialog box.  It's all sans serif around here.

Seriously, do not have pop-up ads or links in the email.  Navigate to the developer site and download the software it always manually.

For Flash Player, you can go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to get an authentic installation program.

For Google Chrome on all platforms and Internet Explorer and Edge under Windows 8 and higher, Flash Player is a built-in component of the browser, so there is nothing separate to install or update.  If a website says that Flash is not installed on these targets, most of the time that it is because the logic of Flash detection Web site is wrong, or it's a malicious actor trying to entice you to download malware (and in some cases, make you pay for the privilege first...).

Please do you a favor and update Flash Player automatically.  Keep the Flash, your browser and your operating system automatically updated is your best line of defense against malicious software by 2015.   The occasional embarrassment incurred when things break is a small price to pay compared to the pain of identity theft and fraud.  The landscape of the thread has changed, and the philosophies behind avoiding updates are really difficult to sustain at this stage.

  • On flash player pressing ESC will not end full-screen more

I am running windows 7 64 bit and now when I go fullscreen mode I can't click ESC to exit back to the normal display. I remember I accidentally right click and choose the global settings in the menu options, but haven't selected what whether closed this window immediately. Happened since then if I did something right there.

All the Googling I've done is back with problems on the message "Hit esc to exit fullscreen" will not go away so I have not found much on my problem, can someone help me?

E: should mention I have 10,3,181,34 installed and am using FF5.

Hi, you could try F11 or alt + tab Alt + tab will open another window and then maybe one with full screen can be exited.

Not sure about the latter, but worth a try. I don't know why esc would not work, but I don't think that the Global Settings Panels would have something to do with it.

But after restoring I have big problems with the installation of programs. I was able to install Firefox and antivirus (Avast) with no problems, but other programs - such as versions updates to Adobe Reader and Flash player and Libreoffice - will not be installed at all. I can download files facility but when clicking on it nothing happens. I checked the Task Manager, so they are not running in the background.

I also face similar problems with Windows update. It is stuck on the installation of Vista SP1. It is said that the installation can take a large amount of time and it may restart the computer several times, but what installation it goes very fast (without rebooting) and said that the installation is complete. But when you search for new updates of SP1 is still there and not installed.

    Hello

Many programs will not install unless you have SP2, as part of their minimum requirements for install.

Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

It will also tell you which SP you have installed.

Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, installation of SP1 first if it is not already installed.

  • Adobe Flash Player will not install.

I tried several times to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, but it WON'T install.  It downloads fine, but when you click on install, load the Adobe's Installation file (window), but that he was doing the lock of my computer.  Why?  I had 13. What is installed and it has worked well, but kept getting a message that I needed to update the flash player, but the computer will not be installed.  He installed the other updates very well, so what gives.  When you try to install, the window is displayed, but does not install and the computer crashes.  I DO not close the Explorer window and even updated my IE from 10 to 11.  Still will not install.

Another problem I have is that the ANT downloader will not work either.  I click on it to download a file will not download YouTube downloader, but when you try to use it, it says that it is disabled.  Yet, when you go to "Manage Add on", and clicking it, it shows the Ant.com downloader is indeed enabled, but it will not work too.  They are linked, or do I have to have two separate problems?

  • Flash player will not install white Installer, full download? tool remove flash?

    Untitled.pngWindows 7 64-bit, Firefox, Explorer, Chrome

For a long time flash player will not install (updates for upgrades).

If I go to the home page that I can download the 1 MB file then open it and the installation box opens but never does nothing and is all black except for the top bar. I can not even close. I have to 'end task' it. I has been underway for a year or two.  I usually find a link to the version of the full installer, but don't find it anymore.

Is there a tool to remove all the remains of Adobe flash player?

Link to the full installer version of the player?

I tried to uninstall all versions, but still the same problem

    Thank you

Wow, I saw a post from m_vargas (personal Adobe): this is a known problem, so obviously there is a problem that nobody knows how to solve. Fix Adobe is use use only Chrome or installer - reinstall your operating system the offline. Great job Adobe.

  • Flash will not install

    Hello

Flash Player will not install on my computer. I'm so frustrated and I spent hours on this site of the mansion is very confusing. I had Flash and everything was fine. Then one day, I did not Flash, I don't know why. So I tried to install again. I followed all the steps very well and of course, everything goes well and I thought that Flash has been installed successfully. Nope. He isn't here. I'm going to play things (as a test) that require Flash and it says I need to download Flash. I downloaded Flash ad nauseam. It is not 'glue '. I restart the computer after each time.

I use a MacBook Pro, OS version 10.7.5 computer. I followed the instructions on Adobe, etc... and it downloads without a doubt. It seems to install. At the end it says "Installation complete". But in the end... nothing. I'm doing something wrong? Is something on my computer preventing it as Teflon? If so I think that I would get a message saying but all I get is messages telling Flash installed.

OK problem solved. All I had to do was check in Safari preferences. I learned this through a tutorial posted here by another Member. If you are having this same problem I had go to the Security tab in Safari preferences and check the box that says "Allow Plug-ins".
