• My Flash Player stops loading and playing to halfway through - Help!

  On my browsers Chrome AND Firefox for Windows 10 (installed on Chrome 21,0,0,216 flash drive) whenever I have a video in particular, the buffer or loading happens to halfway across before it goes to the end and then the video plays only to halfway.

  I tried

  -Cleared my cache of web browsers and history

  -Removal of all websites in Flash Player storage settings panel

  -Restarted my computer / browser / modem.

  -Uninstall and reinstall flash

  -Tried to increase global storage settings (will not save)

  -Contacted the video website and they confirmed there is no problem on the end here and to rub salt on the wound has sent a screenshot of the video beyond 50%

  -The website even gave me another connection to try but it still doesn't work

  I would be appreciated from anyone to help, thanks in advance and good luck.

  MacBook Pro (15-inch) with El Capitan 10.11.5, Safari 9.1.1 OSX Version.

  Message received from new flash update. Conducts system preferences to download. Download went to the file downloads. Close all windows including the browser. Opened, dmg began to download. Error message as follows "Type incorrect Protocol for socket AdobeFlashPlayer_21_a".

  DMG trashed, uninstalled Flash Player, downloaded from the Adobe site, same message. Started in safe mode. Shut down, started normally, always impossible to download Flash Player. Now, I don't have any Flash Player and cannot download any version.

  It is possible the error of mounting the DMG is related to the 10.11.5 update.  Please see cannot load DMG files after installing 10.11.5 | Apple Support communities.  A number of people get the same error, with various software, when mounting the DMG if none of the suggestions in that work of forum for you, contact Apple support for assistance.

  As an alternative, you can also try using the installer in offline mode, posted at the bottom of the problems Installation | Flash Player | Mac page, in the section "Problems", but I suspect exhibit you the same behavior.

  I tried to go on several Web sites and content display - Youtube, lazy and some websites I need for educational purposes. When I try to view the contacts or download a song, I get a message saying that I need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player to do so. I have lived this process several times today, but each time I have download Adobe Flash Player, it tells me that the installation is complete. However, I am still unable to see the content or listen to the songs. I have restarted my computer several times and that didn't work. I see that the Flashplay is listed on my Add / Remove programs in the Control Panel, but it does not when I enter these sites.   Hi td, I do not know what OS you are using or the version of the browser, so I'll just make a guess :-)

  With IE, go to tools > Manage Add ons and find the Shockwave Flash object... ActiveX control... Flash10d.ocx and make sure it's there and activated.

  If the FF, go to plugins and see that the SWF, vs 10.0.42.34 is listed and enabled.

  Also, go to add/remove and check the versions and lists of Java and post this info back. YouTube uses the latest version of Flash Player and the latest version of Java (which since yesterday is JRE 6 update 18)
