Flash Player 10 installed to 1, 256th times

I can't view the videos.  I am invited to re - install flash every time I visit YouTube or this other site I use.  I uninstalled and reinstalled.  But keep guest to re - install and still can not see the videos.  I tried to install FireFox, because one of the admins on a recommended site, and I can watch videos.  I do not use FireFox, and I'll try to find a solution for IE.

Thank you

Hey W, there's more and more settings and checks to do for computers to work as they should. Last year

I typed the list of questions I needed answered just to start helping the people here on the Forum. I sent it to them via text input. Now that the function does not work.

Now there are so many variables coming in not only Flash Player works correctly, but Java, JavaScript, popup blockers and so on. I know when I need both of questions answered that the people here probably think I don't know what I am doing(:-), mais tout cela a un effet.) I'm about to type a list just for me because this is the case

easy to forget something minor becomes major. For example, one of the people here, after we have what we checked thot was all possible obstacles, it has authorized its temporary files and history. And that's the problem! Who would have thot that must have been asked? Not me :-) It is just something that most people do on a regular basis.

Maybe you can put this Forum in the zone of confidence :-) Who knows, it may work. When Adobe came out with the latest

Update, Norton had a notice (I have the screenshot) for their users that says update of Adobe Flash Player is not safe

etc. LOL I'm sure Norton heard from Adobe. Ha - ha

Thank you

  • Flash Player is installed and working fine, but Flash content Web pages request again to install Flash

    Hi, I am running:

    -Flash Player 10.3.183.10

    -Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 - 32-bit

    -C' IE 9.0.8112.16421

Flash player is installed and running. The Flash (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) Web page displays the content correctly and said: 'you have version 10,3,183,10 installed.

However, when you browse some other sites, occasionally IE displays the following message: "this website wants to install the following add-on: 'Adobe Flash Player' of"Adobe Systems Incorporated".» I clicked on the "Install" button and the Flash Player is reinstalled, but continues to display the same message over and over again. In any case, the Flash content is read correctly.

An example of this problem is when clicking on the buttons of pronunciation on this page: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/blackberry_1?q=blac kberry.

Click the damaged page (compatibility view mode) in one area.  When you use I.E.9, if a site has problems with Flash Player, always first try compatibility view mode.

  • Tests of what version of Flash Player is installed

How can I find out what version of flash player, I installed?
Until recently, I could visit http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ telling me.
But now, this page simply redirects to http://www.adobe.com/products/flash.html which is a sales pitch for Adobe Flash Prorefessional CS5.5 and no longer displays the version that I installed.

In the place where this feature moved?

I'm in Firefox 4.0 on Windows 7, where it is important.

HI beyond that was published only, you can use it. It must also offer the animation of the Flash Player logo, which is an indication of where Flash Player works correctly. It also displays the version FP.

  • Adobe Flash Player not installed

I installed Adobe Flash Player, Shockwave Flash, V17.0.0.188 several times trying to update my plugin since the evolution of Windows 10 about a month ago. I don't get an error message, but when I return to mozilla plugin check, it shows that I need to update the reader, as if I have not done. Does not reboot the PC (as well as the shut-down/re-start).

Flash Player 17.0.0.188 is old as it came out may 12 as you can see at https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb15-09.html

The current versions of Windows are to https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Flash Player 19.0.0.245 (Mac and Win)
Flash Player 18.0.0.261 ESR (Mac and Win)

It seems that you have a version of Flash player, 17 and 19 installed according to the directions of your system more on tight to your post details. When you have an older version installed with current version installed on the system can still get used to the place.

Uninstall Flash versions and then install current. Make sure Firefox is closed when you uninstall and install Flash.

You have probably installed a 64 bit version of Flash for Firefox plugin.

Firefox is a 332-bit application, so you need 32-bit versions of a plugin to make it work.

You can find the 32-bit version of the Flash Player installer for a 32-bit version of Firefox here (scroll down to Flash Player (32-bit)):

Yes, after the uninstall, I would recommend delete the following folders:

    • C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
    • %AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player
    • %AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player

for files that start with %AppData%, just copy and paste the entire line in your Windows Explorer bar path and he'll take you.

  • Flash player is installed, but cannot get a flash video to play

I use a 64-bit version of vista and I can not get any flash video to play.  It shows that I have flash player installed, but it does not work.  When I click on the adobe link, which fills the video area it says that flash is not supported for 64-bit system.  I did something to my computer yesterday and managed to get the video to play, but he returned to does not after that I disconnected.  Help, please

    Hi Breeyear54,

Welcome to the responses of Microsoft Windows Vista forums.

Adobe has not yet a version of Flash for Vista 64-bit.

    It's the Adobe Web site:

Adobe Flash Player not is not supported for playback in a 64-bit browser. However, you can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit operating system.

    Reason

Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64 bit as part of our ongoing commitment to cross-platform Flash Player compatibility. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in a future version of Flash Player, Flash Player 10 now.

    Solution

To use Flash Player to view Flash content on a 64-bit system, you must run a 32-bit browser. To run the browser 32-bit to 64-bit machine follow these steps.

    -Click Start > computer > C: drive > Program Files (x 86) > Internet Explorer > iexplore.exe

  • latest version of flash player is installed, but flash player does not play the vedio

I'm dealing with watch vedio with the masage install the most recent Flash player but already installed latest version

  • The latest version of flash player is installed, and yet none of the programs that use it can find or access. I am running Windows 7. Is there something in the registry that could block flash drive to be accessed or used?

The subject is the question. Files with the flv extensions cannot run or be identified. Other software that uses flash player such as Rhapsody, can not find or use it either. It feels like a registry problem. Please, do not waste time suggesting I uninstall and reinstall flash player as I did several times without improvement or solution.

Yes, this isn't how Flash Player works.  It is not a video player.  You can * write * a video player for Flash using ActionScript that would play FLVs, but this isn't what you're trying to do.

If you just want to watch a FLV that you downloaded, I'm pretty sure that VLC will get fact.

  • need to detect the version of Flash Player ActiveX installed in windows 8

My company (for better or worse) using Add/Remove programs to determine the version of flash players (activex and plugin) installed on a machine. With Microsoft support the ActiveX for Win8.x package, we have lost the "Add/Remove Programs" (aka "programs and features") entry for flash player for IE. (Now, our chefs are inaccurate because I know every customer of Win8 activex of flash player, but one) it is not counted, and b) we do not know which version is on a computer.

We can get the current number of KB Microsoft Update for the flash player activex, but that changes on a monthly basis, requiring engineering on our side and we have the bandwidth.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    THX,

    Adam

    Hi Adam,.

You can use the registry entry to find the installed version.

    ActiveX: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\FlashPlayerActiveX > Version

    Plugin: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\FlashPlayerPlugin > Version

It is much better than the entry in Add/Remove programs.
