Flash Player and Windows 10

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10; and found one of the problems to be that I can't use Flash player. I checked and it is activated. I followed the procedure described in the Help Section and unchecked filter Active X. I still can't use Flash (i.e. in some games, Facebook, etc.).  Suggestions please.  Thank you.

First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/867968

Internet Explorer 11 and edge have a number of changes both in the way the browser is identified with remote web servers, and how it treats JavaScript for behavior targets specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the provider of content changes their site to conform to the new approach to development required by the modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these problems by using the compatibility view:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/use-compatibility-view#IE=ie-11

If it's too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a better alternative.

I have Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11.  I had both Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave Player on my computer for years. I also worked puzzles and play games for the years for Shockwave.com.  On 01/08/14 I began to have a problem with the opening of all games and puzzles, and was informed by the shock wave that the probable errors were caused by lesions my Shockwave or Flash Player plug-ins, which can usually be fixed by uninstalling and then reinstalling the players.  Unfortunately, my skills to uninstall seem to be better than my skills to reinstall.  When I tried to reinstall, I followed the on-screen instructions, but the download seems to block in step 2 of 3.  Any advise?  Thank you.

Why does Vista work with adobe flash player and RoboForm?

    original title: Vista 64-bit

He does.  Even if you ask the wrong way.  It is not Windows Vista which would "work with" other applications, it's other applications that "work with" (or not) Windows Vista.  After all - Windows has no need or the other of these two applications to run, but these two applications need to Windows (or some other applicable/compatible OS) service.

Not only it works with both - but Adobe is finally released with a version 64-bit Flash Player - so you can use it with the version 32-bit and 64-bit Internet Explorer.

    Hi Janny1,

JavaScript should not have to turn off. Try to completely uninstall Flash Player and then reinstalling the most recent version. For instructions on how to "completely" uninstall a Flash Player, read this Adobe Help article. If you have not installed Flash Player, or you have just uninstalled the Flash Player, download and install the latest Adobe Flash Player, available in the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.

  • I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11

I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11 after countless attempts.  I installed Chrome (which I didn't do, and I still don't know if it was necessary), I updated Java to the latest version, I uninstalled Silverlight (thinking maybe it has been installed by default), I also (temporarily) disabled my Norton protection when installing it the last 4 times, and I made sure that the add-on has been "enabled" in the fall of management modules area , and yet, he does not show it when I do a test of the Adobe system being installed. It also does not appear on my start - search for Adobe programs.  I'm completely frustrated, especially when the web page to download Adobe told me that all the 3 steps are completed and effective and thank you & Enjoy.  I have read the forums as well, but I can't find a solution.  Help, please. Thank you, Bill

If you do not have an error during the installation of the plugin is probably installed successfully.  It is possible that the plugin is disabled in Internet Explorer or ActiveX filtering is disabled.  Please see: Enable Flash Player for Internet Explorer and ActiveX in Internet Explorer filtering after ensuring the Flash Player is enabled and activeX filtering is disabled, via IE to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and click on the "Check now" button  What are the results for Information System?

Java and Silverlight are two completely different programs, have nothing to do with Flash Player.

Flash Player is a browser plugin and will not appear on a start - search Adobe programs.  It appears in Control Panel > Add Remove programs.

    Hello

From Windows 8, Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer and all updates are distributed by Microsoft, no Adobe.

In addition to checking that Flash Player is enabled, please ensure that the ActiveX filtering is disabled, see difficulty ActiveX in Flash Player in Internet Explorer issues.

Today is patch Tuesday, which means that Microsoft will come out all sorts of updates, including an update to Flash Player for IE.  I don't know when they're going to live, because the update has not yet posted to Microsoft Security Advisory 2755801.  You can check this page later today, or run Windows Update later today or tomorrow to install updates.

  • How to install a previous version of Flash Player on Windows 8

    Hello

Does anyone know how we can install a previous version of Flash Player on Windows 8 or 10 PC?

The latest version of 20.0.0.267 is no longer compatible with our software (GetVariable() problems) and we would like to replace it with version 16.0.0.296

The procedure for Windows XP, Vista and 7 is easy, but I don't have a solution for Windows 8 and 10

Thank you very much for your attention to my request.

    Christophe

Depends on what "type of plugin" you talk

    (1) If you are referring to NPAPI or PPAPI then it can be relatively simple.

    (2) If you are referring to the one built into the operating system, then you will need to uninstall the update of windows, like those who are pushed by Microsoft, however if you are on the original version of Windows 10 then this update will be forced down with you having no control unless you literally jump through hoops to keep it.

    (3) If you don't know not what version, then I suggest you run the uninstall program official adobe on this page Uninstall Flash Player for Windows

and download an older version from this page (you will have to search and use google to determine which version is best for you) of the archived versions of Adobe Flash Player

You really need to provide additional information such as the browser because it is extremely important, as well as the architecture of the operating system (use google)

In Windows Server 2012, Flash player embedded in your Internet Explorer and is updated by Microsoft via windows Update feature and you cannot install in manually. Yesterday we Flash Player had a 18.0.0.160 release. To get the latest version of the flash player, perform your update of windows.
