• Want 4500: iPad prints from mail but no picture

  Hi all

  I try to print wirelessly on a home network from an iPad to a desire to 4500. The confusing is that the iPad will be printed e-mail but no picture. All that happens when I press print is that the screen of the printer turns on but nothing happens.

  I erased all the iPad apps, and done a hard reset but still no luck - the print queue is also empty.

  I hope that someone may have seen this before!

  I would like to help you with the problem that you are experiencing printing pictures printer e-all-in-one HP ENVY 4500 form your iPad.

  The first thing I would suggest would be to make a network power r. We'll leave the router and unplug the power cable (NOTE: do not reset the router.), and then do the same with the printer and shut down the computer. After a minute, plug in the router, wait to fully turn on, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light become solid. Once the router and the printer are on, go ahead and re - turn on the computer. This will refresh the network connection.

  If the problem persists after the update, maybe you can answer a few questions so I'm more able to help:

  • You print directly from the camera app on your iPad, or something else?
  • Have you tried to install the HP ePrint app? Otherwise, you can download it from the App Store and print photos there. Does it work?

  (1) I use Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail, and a printer Samsung: recently, I have been unable to print emails.  I had to copy the e-mail message, and then paste it into a Word file and then print the Word file.

  After following your instructions, I always had the same problem - could not print, e-mail and pages of the site.  Then I started thinking that maybe there was a problem with my printer (Samsung ML 2950 series).  So I uninstalled my printer driver and then reinstalled with updates from the Samsung.  Now I can print emails and web pages.  Once I knew that the problem was not due to Windows Live, the next step was to focus on the software of the printer.  Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

  If you use the Windows 8 Mail application and then print the message:

  -By pressing Ctrl + P will open the list of printers. Select the printer you want then choose from the list of print options and finally click print (lower-right) to print.

  Please disconnect the power from the back of the printer for 30 seconds.  Plug in and turn on.

  From the front of the printer: configuration > network > network by default.  Now, in the same network menu, run the Wireless Setup Wizard.

  Not sure whether you're El Capitan (as in your hardware profile) or Yosemite (the forum in which you posted) but the two versions of Contact are similar. In the dialog box print box is an option for 'Style' that includes "lists".

  

  By default, it can not show that lists so use the drop down menu to change it.

  If you use an HP ePrint printer, the easiest way to print an email is this:

  1. set up a new contact named "printer."

  2. give the email address that you put in place with connected HP.  (Or the former "ePrint Center).

  3. send the message to "printer".

  I added a hotkey in Mail to use export to PDF...

  Go to System Preferences > keyboard and click the shortcuts tab.

  Go to the application shortcuts and click on the + key, I added export to PDF... by mail to card command + K

  Hello and welcome to the HP support community!

  The ePrint application prints directly to any printer on the same network that the device uses.

  You can try saving the web page locally on your device, then attach it to an e-mail.  I had limited success with that.

  Workaround: take a screenshot of the Web page, including information that you want to print.  This will save it as image file, that is easy to attach it to an email!

  Another solution would be to use Google Cloudprint.  This will not work if the printer is connected to a computer via a connection cable.  See the post at the beginning of this article about CloudPrint.
