Flash Player freezing and blocking Internet explorer and Google Chrome

Hello

I have a dell xps 16 under i7, windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, 4 GB ram, 500 GB hard drive. At least a year, I had problems viewing sites that use flash player such as youtube and facebook. I originally thought that my anti virus has been the problem because when I uninstalled the flash never started working. I changed my anti-virus programs about 3 times from mcafee to kaspersky AVG 9.0 full... and it still freezes on me. Now it has been 2 weeks since I uninstalled avg 9.0 and now it has started to freeze up to my internet explore and chrome whenever I go on youtube or facebook. Also for some reasion strange she also made some of my programs like pinnacle 14 studios, itunes and Windows media player does not. Currently I got the flash from my computer. And I have to use my ipad for videos youtube... but I always consult flash. I heard that this has passed many people on mulitple o.s., Please help. I tried to reinstall and he wrote this instalation failed evertime. Ive also tried to reinstall my os without success. I ve tried reseting my browsers and resettlement... without success.

Hi, good report so far, all the Flash files are correct :-) Be sure to check the add ons for the Shockwave Flash object to ensure that it is enabled.

Thank you

  • Help! Flash Player installation fails (Vista; Internet Explorer)

I have problems installing Flash Player (14 I think - the installation program is called: install_flashplayer14x32ax_chrd_dn_awa_aih) on a laptop with Vista and IE. I'm PC illiterate, so don't know what version I have...

The Installer seems to know what I have and choose which version to install? Is this fair?

I get the performer or backup of the installer options, but everything I try, the installation seems to think it's worked, and I got to a browser's screen showing other things I might want to install. However, Flash Player does not appear to be installed, and the content does not, telling me that I need to install Flash Player.

I noticed one thing is that the installation bar moves at a slow pace and then all of a sudden, the last section goes into a microsecond, as he is abandoned, but it goes then on this other window. I have Malwarebytes Pro is installed for the protection.

    Could it be prevent installation?

I wish a notification if it has been, but get nothing...

Oh, and I used uninstall to get rid of the previous versions, but I have still some Panel for Flash Player settings, if I put the Flash Player in the search box?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but even if I can fix it the motors and things, all PC stuff is somewhat a mystery so far...

    Thanks in advance.

There is no need to uninstall the previous version of Flash Player; the installer must do that for you.

  • Flash Player 11 Installation with Internet Explorer 9

OK, I already know, there are a lot of discussions on this, but I have tried all suggestions with no luck.  I just got my PC back after a restore full, 32-bit Windows Vista.  I installed the new Internet Explorer 9 and was not surprised when he told me to install the latest version of Flash Player.  I tried to install and received the message to close Internet Explorer, which I already do.  I managed to fix that by going to Task Manager and closing an iexplore.exe process that seemed to be stuck.  When I go to adobe.com it tells me I have the latest version (11.0.1.152) installed, but when I try to watch videos on IE9 it tells me that I do not have Flash Player! I rebooted, checked the things that have been proposed in other posts and have still no luck!

    Suggestions please?

Recent crashes of some multimedia content (this includes the Youtube videos, some flash games and other applications), in collaboration with Firefox 14 are probably caused by a recent update of Flash 11.3 and/or Real Player browser plugin to malfunction.

Now the message indicates that Windows cannot find iexplore.exe on drive C; Download Google chrome and get the same error message.  The only browser that works is Apple Safari.

    ·                        A few basic things you can do to try and isoalte the problem.  First of all, try to get into Safe Mode or "Safe Mode with networking" mode Get safe by pressing the "F8" key when you see the things in the factory.  Don't touch for quick, you can cause a keyboard error.  You can even it tap several times until the screen of fab.   If it works it will give a menu, choose safe out of that mode.  Understand the functioning of the computer in safe mode.  You are not very good graphics, but it is usable.

In addition, and cela I should have started with, do not use an admin account for everyday use.  If you are unsure if you are, you are probably.  If you simply turn your computer and it goes into Windows, you are. (This means that you had no logon).     This is true for everyone, all the time...  Make a user account when you first get your computer or after a reload.

Basically, you need to work on this mode without failure.  And, people like me need to know first.

Right-click on the network icon in the taskbar and choose troubleshoot internet connection and see if it shows anything. If this din't work, then try to contact your Internet service provider, they might need some settings you will need to reconfigure with new router like proxy or static IP.

Whenever recently, lately, using Firefox to open my homepage of optimum.net my voicemail is "not available at this time." It of OK for a few years and is still OK if I use Internet Explorer of Google Chrome, Firefox only gives the problem. Looks like I'll have to give up Firefox, unless it is resolved. Thanks for the reply. It has been supported Optimum who suggested to use another browser. However, I'm gone differently in voice via the Optimum homepage and manually reaches Optimum voicemail, close and back on to my homepage Optimum access to voicemail had returned. I don't know why he did it, obviously the Optimum support guy was incorrect.

    Hello

    1. what version of Internet Explore do you use?

    2. If it works well before? If Yes, did you changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

I suggest you try the steps below and check if it helps

Method 1: Try the steps in the following Microsoft article:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/926449

Important: Reset Internet Explorer to its default configuration. This step will disable also any add-ons, plug-ins or toolbars that are installed. Although this solution is fast, it also means that, if you want to use one of these modules in the future, they must be reinstalled.
