  I have a problem that I need to play a site in flash mode full-screen. Which works fine but I have a link where we have a FLV video component. Whenever I look for the link view the FLV video, the video goes full screen and fills the entire screen. I want the FLV file so that it remains at the original video size while I am in full screen. Any suggestions please. Also I have another problem, if I leave the video playback in full screen, and then when I press ESC to get out of the video it to exit full screen, how can I get out the video but not exit full-screen mode.

  OK, your starting point is to change the line in the HTML code that says this:

  "scale", "showall"

  to do this:

  "scale", "noscale"

  Then when the movie goes full-screen content retains its original size. In your function full-screen, you would say to full screen, but also have a listener for the event (read about the event here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRefV3/flash/display/Stage.html#event:f ullScreen ). Once the screen mode full screen, you then get the stage.stageWidth, stage.stageHeight and new provision your items in the positions and sizes you want.

  Do you remember the last time that your Media Player worked properly?  You can use the system restore (type it in the start menu to find) to go back on this point.  This restoration takes about 2 minutes and will not affect your files - no matter how far you go.  It simply restores your system files and settings.

• Flash Player stream info from the site

  Anyone here have experience a Flash Player to load a website interface? Here's what I'm trying to do and what I have.

  It is a radio from a local radio station stream. I'm trying to access the list of streaming and the only place where I can find this information is through this flash drive.

  The data flow looks like this:

  

  The part with "Ad Break" is the part which is actually Flash.

  Here's what it looks like when I try to load it in LabVIEW:

  

  That's what the site looks like when first open player, so I think I'm on the right track, but it stops there.

  I used some HTML settings on the Web site to get the player settings, which can be seen below (or on the Web page) with its source code.

  

  

  I expect one of your light on and tell me it is not possible, but any help would be appreciated.

  I thought that it was an interesting question (and the appearance of the flash player gave him a little extra zest). I made a video that shows an approach to scrape the contents of the webpage for use in LabVIEW.

• Why can I not see the flash slideshow on my own Web site since installing any new version?

  Since the installation of the latest version of flash player on my computer a few days ago (version 11.5?), I don't see the old slide show on my own Web site.  I know it's still there because a friend in XP can see it.  I'm on Win7 Pro with IE 9 in 32-bit mode.  Also does not work in Google Chrome or IE 64-bit.  I could see the slide show with the old version of the flash player.

  Anyone have any ideas?

• Flash Catalyst full screen video

  I inserted a video into Flash Catalyst and export the video, it is in 4.3 report l / h.  The video plays fine in Explorer, but when I hit the button full screen (the screen is widescreen) I get white lines on the side of the screen to keep it in part 4.3. My question is, is it possible to change the color from white to black?

  The white background is the appearance defined by wireframe-style video player the 'skin '.  You can get a black background by choosing the 'standard' skin: select the video player and look in the properties panel for a drop-down list titled 'Video control.'  Simply change the value of wired to the standard, and you'll be all set.

  If you really want to keep the appearance of the wired, you cannot change the background color, but you can avoid having visible by changing the dropdown "Scale Mode" Stretch (keeps the proportions) or Zoom (retains the proportions, but done by cropping instead of black bars).

  I made full-screen independent publish with AS2, Flash Player 9. Everything works fine on XP Ms. But MS Vista when you go full screen, all you can see is background color (all other content disappears).
  I tried 2 AS and AS 3, downloaded, newer flash drives etc.
  After some tests, I noticed that when I disable "hardware acceleration" in menu flash player it works fine on Vista too.
  Can someone help me?
  Meybe anyone knows how to disable hardware acceleration with Action Script?

  I downloaded the "flash_player_update6_flash9" package, uinstalled flash player, install the drive/copy files form package and it works fine now on Vista OS.

  I guess that these flash in mode videos full screen reappear on your laptop screen internal and therefore s TV display becomes black.

• Why are my fuzzy HD videos in Windows Media Player full-screen?

  When I downloaded my videos I wanted them in HD so I used a converter to convert videos in HD. When I play in Windows Media Player, it is blurred. I played it to players like DAplayer, Divx Player, VLC Player, Freesmith Player, and Windows Media Player. I noticed that if I play the video in how it was originally without convert HD he plays well, but it depends on whether or not the video is in HD right from the start. If it wasn't in HD from the beginning, when I first downloaded the video then it will not be in HD. Why this phenomenon happens and is there a way to fix it. Also, if I play the HD video that is converted in a small screen, it plays in HD. If it is full screen it's blurry.

  It depends on the resolution on the downloaded video and the native resolution of your screen. If the movies are 320 x 240 or 640 x 480 (or even smaller size), and that your monitor is 1600 x 900 or similar larger, then the full screen video will be blurred, no matter what you do. It's the same thing as taking a wallet-sized photo and blow up to 8 x 10. The pixels are stretched to the point of not be smoother.
